06 Basic Operations
Power On/Off
Power On: push power switch display the boost picture and enter into Function Selection menu. Power Off: a. In Play status, short press b. In other modes, press and hold c. Note that if the player has a low battery, it will shut down automatically

Connect to Computer and File Transfer
After starting your computer, plug the USB cord into the player and wait for the computer to recognize the device. Select the file that is associated with the device and then drag and drop your selected media in the window. If you prefer to, you may use a third party’s program to sync media to your player such as Window Media Player

Explorer is a feature of this player; it provides you with clear information about the file categories and directories inside player, for the management and search of file directories by category.

The conversion software of this player supports formats of avi, mpg, mpeg, rm, rmvb, dat and converts to the supportable AVI format of this player in fast speed and high quality.
01> Run the Video Conversion Tool in attached disk, click to install AVIConverter V3.0 After the installation, open and click the desktop Start/Program/AVIConverter/AVIConverter. Display the following interface; select “Add file to convert”

A: Firstly select video source file: click “Source File” button in the right of converter, then select the video file to be converted. B: Then select targeted path: click “Targeted Path” button in the right of converter, and then select the path to save the file.

03> Select the conversion quality and height/width (resolution should be set as 320x240), after setting the
parameters, click “Save” button.
04> After saving the set parameters, click “Begin to convert file”.
When the converting process reaches 100%, it will indicate Conversion Finished, which means the Video Conversion was successful, transfer the converted file to MP3 via USB data cable for watching.
18 Firmware Update
Player can resume the damaged driver firmware via the updating tool of tool software in attached disk. Notice: Firmware updating tool .exe is the installation version for the Updating tool of Firmware. Please install
firstly, then run the updating tool in Start menu or desktop. After the running, push the player power switch to the on position, then press and hold the time, if it is the first updating for your computer, please install the driver, directly click NEXT to search the driver by the system automatically (Driver installation interface will not be displayed if the player has been updated before). Run the Updating tool to update.

05> Connect player to PC via USB cable (before connection, press and hold), then click [Record Firmware] till the auto updating is finished (shown as above figure).
Or turn on MP4 and enter into Setting=>System Setting=>Firmware Update=>Confirm and connect via USB, then click [Record Firmware] till the auto updating is finished.
Notice: Firmware Update is for enhancing and optimizing the performance of player, the player can run normally even no Firmware Update. Wrong operation of Firmware Update might cause the player out of work! Firmware Update software of this player does not suit for play er of other series.
Troubleshooting 23
The player cannot be turned on.

Please make sure that you have selected the correct language. Set language in (Setting) => (System Setting) => (Language Selection)
Files can not be downloaded
