DO NOT use this fan to ventilate areas where flammable liquids or vapors are used, stored or are present, including paints,
gasoline, varnishes, floor refinishing products or solvents. ALWAYS read and follow all warnings and instructions on the
containers for these products!
ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet. When plugs fit loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the
outlet and create a poor connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential fire hazard. Outlets in this
condition should be replaced by a qualified electrician.
ALWAYS unplug the power cord when servicing, cleaning or moving the Fan. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole
means of disconnecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and
unplug the Fan when not in use.
BE CERTAIN that the power source for the Fan is 120V AC. DO NOT plug the Fan into 240V or other power source.
The Plug on your Lasko fan is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be removed
or tampered with. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, DO NOT attempt to remove, replace, repair or
tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the Fan has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incorporated
in this plug. THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into the outlet
only one way. Match the wide blade to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety
feature. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, consult a qualified electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.
• AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style air fresheners or other cord connected device, as these
devices may overheat and cause a fire hazard.
•DO NOT route power cord under rugs, carpets, runners or furniture. This may damage the cord or cause it to overheat creating a fire
hazard.
•ALWAYS place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface while in operation to prevent the Fan from overturning.
•NEVER insert or allow fingers or objects to enter grill openings while Fan is in operation or injury and/or damage to the Fan may occur.
•DO NOT block, cover or obstruct air flow to or from the fan while in operation.
•DO NOT use this Fan outdoors or near water or wet locations such as a bath tub, pool or hot tub. Use of this Fan in a wet location
may create a shock hazard.
•DO NOT route power cord in or through areas such as doorways or where the cord may be damaged or create a tripping hazard.
•NEVER use a single extension cord to operate more than one Fan or other electrical device.
•DO NOT use this Fan in a window. Rain may create an electrical hazard.
•DO NOT use this Fan if it has been damaged or is not functioning properly.
•DO NOT operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan.

locations. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 500 or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical
requirements for hazardous locations.
NOTICE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions,

FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figuras 1 y 2)

FUNCIÓN DE OSCILACIÓN: Esta función podrá ser activada
con cualquier velocidad del Ventilador. Si oprime el Botón De
Oscilación (
), permitirá que el Ventilador oscile en ambas
direcciones. Para detener la oscilación, oprima el Botón De
Oscilación una vez más. Botón De Oscilación se iluminará
cuando esta función se encuentre activada.
INSTRUCCIONES MULTIDIRECCIONALES
(Figura 2)
La mitad superior del Ventilador puede orientarse en una dirección
diferente a la de la mitad inferior del mismo. La función de
oscilación podrá activarse con el ventilador enfrentando cualquier
dirección.
1. Sostenga la Base y la Parte Inferior De Ventilador en forma
estacionaria.
2. Tome la Parte Superior De Ventilador y gírela a la posición que
desee.
ADVERTENCIA: NO INTENTE HACER GIRAR EL VENTILADOR
MÁS ALLÁ DE SU PUNTO DE RESISTENCIA, PUES ELLO

Cuando use este ventilador, se deben de seguir las siguientes advertencias y

NO utilice este ventilador para ventilar las zonas donde se usen, almacenen o estén presentes líquidos o vapores inflamables, incluidos pinturas, gasolina, barnices, disolventes o productos de acabado para pisos. ¡SIEMPRE lea y siga todas las

OPERATION (Figures 1 and 2)
1. Carefully remove the Fan from the plastic bag and the
carton.
2. Place the Fan on a firm and level surface.
Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick
to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may
leave a res i due that could dark en, stain or leave per ma nent
blem ish es on the finish of cer tain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/or hard wood floors.
3. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet.
Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet.
When plugs fit loose ly into re cep ta cles, they
may slip partially or com plete ly out of the receptacle with only the slight move ment of the
attached cord. Re cep ta cles in this con di tion
may over heat and pose a serious fire haz ard; if
cov ered by a cur tain or drape, the fire haz ard
is even great er.
4. Turn the Fan ON by pressing the Power Button (
Power Button will light when the unit is turned on.
5. Upon turning the Fan ON, the unit will be on HIGH.
6. Pressing the Power Button a sec ond time will set the
Fan to ME DI UM.
7. Pressing the Power Button a third time will set the Fan
to LOW.
8. To turn the Fan OFF, press the Power Button (
pow er light will go out when the unit is off.
9. After turning the Fan off, unplug the unit from the
elec tri cal outlet.

OSCILLATION FUNCTION: This function will work in any

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
(Figure 2)
The top half of the Fan can be manually turned a different
direction than the bottom half of the Fan. The oscillation
func tion will work with the top half of the fan fac ing any
direction.
1. Hold the Base and the Bottom Fan stationary.
2. Grasp the Top Fan and turn it to the desired position.
CAUTION: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TURN THE FAN BE-
YOND THE POINT OF RESISTANCE. THIS WILL DAMAGE
THE FAN.

MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the cord before moving, servicing or cleaning.
- NEVER place the Fan in or near wa ter.
- Clean the Fan only with a vacuum equipped with a brush attachment; the vacuum will re move the lint
and dirt from inside the Fan.
- NEVER attempt to take apart the Fan.
- Clean the body of the Fan with a soft cloth only.
- NEVER use ALCOHOL or SOL VENTS such as gasoline, ben zene, paint thinner, or other harsh cleaners.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: This product is warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials.
HOW LONG THIS WARRANTY LASTS: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and lasts for one (1) year from the date of
original purchase or until the original purchaser of the product sells or transfers the product, whichever first occurs.
WHAT LASKO WILL DO: Lasko will, at its sole option, repair or replace any part or parts that prove to be defective or replace the whole product with

return of products to Lasko for repair or replacement. Lasko will pay return shipping charges from Lasko following warranty repairs or replacement.

LIABILITY UNDER ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT AND ANY SUCH LIABILITY SHALL
TERMINATE UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
