GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to person, including the following:
1.Read all instructions before using Heater.
2.Use this Heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.
3.Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Heater.
4.Extreme caution is necessary when any Heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the Heater is left operating unattended.
5.This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
6.Plug Heater directly in to a 120V~ electrical wall outlet, DO NOT plug Heater into any other cord connected devices, such as a power strip or surge protector. Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. If they must be used, minimize the risk of overheating by ensuring that they are UL listed, a minimum No. 14 AWG, rated not less than 1875 watts. Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one Heater.
7.Do not operate any Heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the Heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return Heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.
8.Unplug power cord before servicing or moving the Heater. Always unplug Heater when not in use.
WARNING: DO NOT DEPEND ON THE ON/OFF SWITCH AS THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN SERVICING OR MOVING THE HEATER. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.
9.Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an
electric shock or fire, or damage the Heater. Do not block or tamper with the Heater in any manner while it is in operation.
10.To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not place on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
11.Always place the Heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating, to avoid the chance of the Heater overturning. Locate the Power Cord so the Heater or other objects are not resting on it. Do not run Power Cord under carpeting. Do not cover Power Cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange Power Cord away from room traffic and where it will not be tripped over.
12.This Heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always use handle when moving this Heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the Heater and keep them at least 1 foot (0.3 m) from the sides and rear.
13.A Heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must NOT be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres. This Heater is intended for general use ONLY.
14.This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate a Heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
15.Do not use Heater outdoors.
16.This Heater includes an audible alarm to warn that parts of the Heater are getting excessively hot. If the alarm sounds, immediately turn the Heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the Heater that may cause high temperatures. DO NOT OPERATETHE HEATER WITHTHE
ALARM SOUNDING.
WARNING: REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK – DO NOT USETHIS HEATER WITH ANY SOLID STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICES.

OPERATION
The Heater may be operated by the manual controls located on the Heater (as shown in Figure 1) or by your remote control (shown in Figure 3).
1.Carefully remove the Heater from the bag and the carton.
2.Place the Heater on a firm, level surface.
WARNING: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick to furniture surfaces. The unit may leave a residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces.
3.Plug the cord set into a 120 V~ electrical outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet. A loose fit will cause overheating and damage the plug. Plug and cord set may feel warm during normal usage.
4.When the Heater is initially plugged in, the red light will come on indicating that there is power to the unit. The red light will remain lit until the Heater is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
5.Turn the Heater ON by pressing the Power Button.
6.When initially turned on, the Heater will display the current
Room temperature in º Fahrenheit. Press the (
) and (
) buttons at the same time until the display reflects º Celsius. Pressing the same buttons again will change the display back to º Fahrenheit.
7.Upon turning the Heater on, the display will reflect “Room” along with the current temperature. The unit will be in the High heat mode. (1500 Watts)
8.Pressing the Mode Button at this point will set the Heater into Low heat mode. (900 Watts)
9.Pressing the Mode Button once more will set the Heater into AUTO mode. Notice that the display now reflects a SET temperature indicator. (See Thermostat Instructions)
10.To turn the Heater OFF, press the Power Button (
) and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. The Heater will reset to º Fahrenheit after being unplugged.
Oscillation Function:
The oscillation function will work in any mode. Pressing the Oscillation Button (OSC) will allow the Heater to oscillate back and forth.To stop the oscillation, press the Oscillation Button (OSC) once more.
Timer Function:
The timer function will work in any mode. The timer function allows you to set the length of operation from 1 hour to 8 hours. Pressing the Timer Button will increase the length of operation by 1 hour each time the button is pressed. Pressing the Timer Button once more after the display reflects 8 hours will reset the Heater to continuously running. Once the timer has been set, the timer will count down the hours in 1 hour increments, showing on the display the remaining operating time. The Heater will turn itself off when the set time has lapsed. The unit can be turned back by pressing the Power Button.
THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS (Figure 2)
1.Press the Mode Button until the display shows AUTO.
2.To adjust SET temperature, press the (
) to increase the desired temperature and the (
) to decrease the desired temperature.
3.When the air temperature reaches 3 degrees above the SET temperature, the heater will cut off.
4.When the air temperature drops 1 degree below the SET temperature, the unit will come back on.
Note: It is normal for the Heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the SET temperature.

1.Install the two “AAA” batteries supplied as shown.
2.The Remote Control Power button is labeled with the (
) symbol.
3.All the functions performed with the Remote Control work identically to the Manual Controls.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE SEGURIDAD
1.El Calefactor tiene incorporado un protector contra sobrecarga térmica para evitar que se sobrecaliente.
2.Cuando se alcance una temperatura de sobrecalentamiento, el calefactor se apaga automáticamente. Sólo puede volverse a
encender después que el usuario reposicione la unidad.
Para Reposicionar El Calefactor:
1.Desenchufe el Calefactor y espere de 10 minutos para que el Calefactor se enfríe.
2.Después que los 10 minutos, tapan la Calefactor en otra vez y sigue la INSTRUCCION de la OPERACION descrita en este manual de la instrucción.
MOLESTE PUNTAS QUE DISPARAN
Si su Calefactor apaga inesperadamente o falla de operar, uno de las características ya mencionadas de seguridad se puede haber activado para prevenir recalentar.
1.Esté seguro que la cuerda del poder se tapa en un trabajar salida eléctrica.
2.Verifique su colocación de Termostato. La Calefactor puede estar apagada porque ha alcanzado la colocación deseada de la temperatura.

MANTENIMIENTO
ADVERTENCIA: SIEMPRE DESENCHUFE EL CORDÓN ANTES DE MOVER O DAR SERVICIO A LA UNIDAD. ADVERTENCIA: NO SUMERJA EL CALENTADOR EN AGUA
LIMPIEZA: ¡IMPORTANTE! Limpia la parrilla de la Calentadora con la fijación de cepillo de vacío de su limpiador del vacío. Esto quitará hilas y tierra del dentro de la Calentadora. Limpio el cuerpo de la Calentadora con una tela suave.
¡No PROCURE DESARMAR LA CALENTADORA!
EL CUIDADO: No utiliza gasolina, la bencina, la tintorería más delgada y dura, etc., como ellos dañarán la Calentadora. Nunca ALCOHOL de uso ni SOLVENTES.
SERVICIO: Cualquier otro servicio, con la excepción de mantenimiento general por parte del usuario, deberá ser realizado por un representante de servicio autorizado. Llamar al 1-800-233- 0268, de lunes a viernes, entre las 8 a.m. y las 5 p.m. (Horario Estándar del Este de los Estados Unidos), para averiguar la dirección de su centro de servicio más cercano.
ALMACENAMIENTO: Guarde el calefactor, junto con estas instrucciones, en su caja original y en un lugar fresco y seco.
GARANTÍA LIMITADA
EN CASO DE NECESITAR PIEZAS, COMUNÍQUESE CON EL FABRICANTE PARA PIEZAS DE REPUESTO AMPARADAS POR LA GARANTÍA. SE DEBE INCLUIR UNA COPIA DEL RECIBO DE COMPRA CON EL TIPO Y ESTILO DEL CALEFACTOR, UBICADOS EN LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL APARATO.
Este producto está garantizado por tres años a partir de la fecha de compra contra defectos de fabricación y/o de materiales. A nuestra discreción, las piezas que resulten defectuosas se reemplazarán o se repararán, o bien se reemplazará el producto entero.
