Instructions
Developed to allow the user to lock the latest generation 1.0L & 1.3L Fiat petrol engines in their
timed position when removing and refitting the timing chain, cylinder head or camshafts.
• Applications: Fiat 500X (from 2018), Tipo (from 2020), Jeep Renegade (from 2018),
Compass (from 2020)
• Engine code applications: 1.0L 55282151, 1.3L 55282328.
• Equivalent to OEM tools: 2063500090, 206300090, 2064000090.
• Includes the crankshaft pulley holding tool.
• Use in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

Preparation:
• Set engine to TDC on number 1 Cylinder
• Remove the brake vacuum pump.
Component Descriptions:
Component A = Camshaft
Alignment Tool – with the engine
set at TDC on number 1 cylinder fit
the Component (A) to the camshaft
in place of the brake vacuum
pump. See figure 1.
Component B =
Flywheel Locking Pin - Fit
the crankshaft locking pin
as shown in figure 2 from
underneath the vehicle.

Crankshaft pulley Holding
Tool – Fit component (C)
as shown in figure 3 and
remove the crankshaft
pulley fixing bolt.
WARNING: The
crankshaft pulley bolt
has a LH thread.
ALWAYS REPLACE THE
PULLEY BOLT WITH NEW.
