These are primarily for loosening corroded and seized joints using a combination
of shock and vibration.

The attachments are hammers / load spreaders suitable for a variety of
applications. The attachment is inserted into the air chisel /hammer in the
normal fashion and held in place by the hooked end of the spring retainer.
Attachments C, F and G are used by attaching to the adaptor shaft D.
The rubber O-ring on the adaptor shaft will keep the attachment securely
mounted. Spare O-rings are provided in the set and they are also available
as spares (Part No. 5385).
These three attachments are designed for applying shock and vibration over
large areas, the concave hammer G being used (for example) on bearing
casings, exhaust pipe joints, etc.
The 1/2"D adaptor E is used in conjunction with the appropriately sized
impact socket for loosening corroded fixings; the Hex on attachment E
allows a spanner to be used to provide the turning force to loosen the fixing.
Precautions
• Risk of hand / arm vibration injury
• The tool should not be used by an operator regularly for more than 117
minutes in any 8 hour period.
• This duration should be reduced if the operator is also using other
equipment which could result in hand / arm vibration.
The O-rings are regarded as consumable and not therefore covered by the
Tool Connection guarantee. (Replacement O-rings are available:
Part No. 5385 - pack of 10.)
