EL-USB-LITE

Low Cost USB Temperature Data Logger

This low cost data logger measures and stores up to 4,080 temperature readings over a -10 to +50°C (+14 to +122°F)
measurement range with a fixed 30 minute sample rate and a battery life of 1 month continuous use. Press the button
and a red/green LEDindicates whether apreset alarm level has beenbreached.
The data logger isconfigured and thestored datadownloaded by plugging themodule into a PC's USBport and running
the purpose designed control software underWindows 98, 2000 or XP. The downloaded data can be graphed, printed
and exported to other applications. Thelatest versionof thecontrol softwaremay bedownloaded freeof chargefrom:

Easy to install and use, the control software runs under
Windows 98, 2000 and XP (Home and Professional
Editions)*. It allows the user toset up and download any
EL-USB-Lite. The latest version of the control software

LED FLASHING MODES

EL-USB-LITE features a bi-colour LED to indicate the status of the data logger. To save power, the status indication only operates
when the pushbutton is pressed fora shortwhile.

The number of flashes and colours indicates :

Red/Green LEDTemperature sensor

(Single green flash) The channel is logging, no alarm

(Single red flash) The channel is logging, low alarm

(Double red flash) The channel is logging, high alarm

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

We recommend that you replace the battery every 1 month, or prior to logging critical data. The EL-USB-LITE does not lose its
stored readings when the battery is discharged or when the battery is replaced; the data logging process will however be stopped
and cannot bere-started untilthe battery has beenreplaced andthe logged data hasbeen downloadedto PC.
For maximum logging life, onlyuse Maxell or Panasonic CR1620 lithium batteries. Before replacing the battery, remove the EL-

USB-LITE fromthe PC.

Note:
Leaving the EL-USB-LITEplugged intothe USB portfor longer than necessary willcause someof the batterycapacity to be lost.
