BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
Das Marder-Abwehrgerät Ultraschall dient zum Schutz vor Marderschäden an PKWs und Wohnmobilen.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Kinder und Personen mit eingeschränkten geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ohne erforderliches Fachwissen benutzt zu
werden. Kinder sind von dem Gerät fernzuhalten.
Zum bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch gehört auch die Beachtung aller Informationen in dieser Anleitung, insbesondere die Beachtung der Sicherheitshinweise. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sach- oder Personenschäden führen. Die EAL GmbH übernimmt keine Haftung
für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch entstehen.

• Tragen Sie bei Arbeiten an der Batterie oder der elektrischen Anlage Ihres Fahrzeugs niemals Armbänder aus Metall. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
• Lesen Sie im Handbuch Ihres Fahrzeugs über das Abklemmen der Batterie nach oder fragen Sie Ihre Fachwerkstatt.
• Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig den festen Sitz des Marder-Abwehrgeräts und der Anschlusskabel.
• Klemmen Sie das Gerät ab bzw. entfernen Sie die Sicherung im Pluskabel, wenn Sie das Fahrzeug fremdstarten oder die Batterie schnellgeladen wird.
Bei diesen Vorgängen können Spannungsspitzen entstehen, die das Gerät beschädigen können.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät niemals mit einem Dampfstrahler oder Hochdruckreiniger.
BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
Reinigen Sie den Motorraum gründlich oder benutzen Sie das Vorbehandlungsspray Marder Duftmarken-Entferner, Artikelnummer: 16265, bevor Sie das
Ultraschall-Marderabwehrgerät montieren. Empfehlenswert ist auch die Reinigung des Fahrzeugunterbodens und des Stellplatzes.
ACHTUNG: Bevor Sie mit der Montage des Marder-Abwehrgeräts Ultraschall beginnen, lesen Sie im Handbuch Ihres Fahrzeugs
über das Abklemmen der Batterie nach. Durch das Abklemmen der Batterie können Informationen des Bordcomputers und
Radioeinstellungen verloren gehen.
Klemmen Sie die Batterie ab.
MONTAGE
Befestigen Sie das Ultraschall-Marderabwehrgerät so, dass der Schall frei austreten kann, ähnlich dem Lichtkegel einer Taschenlampe. Wählen Sie einen
Befestigungsort aus, der sich möglichst weit oben im Motorraum bendet, um Beeinträchtigungen durch Schmutz und Wasser zu vermeiden. Halten Sie
Abstand von Hitzequellen wie Auspu, Katalysator und rotierenden Teilen. Achten Sie auf die gute Zugänglichkeit der Sicherung im Anschlusskabel. Bei engen
Motorräumen kann es nötig sein, mehrere Marder-Abwehrgeräte einzubauen, da Ultraschall durch Hindernisse stark abgeschirmt wird.
ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS
Überprüfen Sie zuerst ob die Klemme 15, geschaltetes Plus vom Zündschalter, bei ausgeschalteter Zündung auf Masse, Klemme 31, geschaltet wird. Ist dies
der Fall, wählen Sie die Anschlussart „Automatisch“. Ist dies nicht der Fall können Sie das Gerät in der Anschlussart „mit Wechselrelais“ oder „Dauerbetrieb“
(nicht zulässig im Bereich der StVZO) anschließen.
AUTOMATISCH
Schließen Sie das Pluskabel (rotes Kabel mit Sicherung) an Dauerplus, Klemme 30, an. Das Minuskabel (schwarzes Kabel mit Ringöse) schließen Sie an das
geschaltete Plus vom Zündschalter, Klemme 15, an. Das Gerät wird ausgeschaltet, wenn Sie die Zündung einschalten.

MIT WECHSELRELAIS
Für diese Anschlussart benötigen Sie zusätzlich noch ein 12 V Kfz-Wechsel-Relais (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Verbinden Sie die Anschlüsse des Relais
und des Marder-Abwehrgeräts Ultraschall wie folgt:
30 an Dauerplus
85 an Masse, Klemme 31
86 an geschaltetes Plus vom Zündschalter, Klemme 15
87 wird nicht benötigt
87a an das rote Kabel des Ultraschallgeräts
Schwarzes Kabel des Ultraschallgeräts an Masse,
Klemme 31
Das Gerät wird jetzt ausgeschaltet, wenn Sie die Zündung einschalten.
Dauerbetrieb (nicht zulässig im Bereich der StVZO)
Schließen Sie das Pluskabel (rotes Kabel mit Sicherung) an Dauerplus, Klemme 30, an. Das Minuskabel (schwarzes Kabel mit Ringöse) schließen Sie an Masse,
Klemme 31, an. Das Gerät arbeitet jetzt im Dauerbetrieb, also auch während der Fahrt.
Klemmen Sie die Batterie wieder an und kontrollieren den festen Sitz der Polklemmen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass durch die Montage des Marder-Abwehrgeräts Ultraschall keine anderen Funktionen des Fahrzeugs beeinträchtigt werden.
ACHTUNG: Bei langen Standzeiten kann die Batterie entladen werden!
ERSETZEN EINER DEFEKTEN SICHERUNG
Schrauben Sie das Gehäuse des Sicherungshalters im Pluskabel auf. Ersetzen Sie die defekte Sicherung durch eine neue, gleichwertige, F 200mA 250V, Sicherung. Schrauben Sie den Sicherungshalter wieder zusammen.
WARTUNG UND PFLEGE
Bei bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch ist das Ultraschall-Marderabwehrgerät wartungsfrei.

PROPER USE OF THE PRODUCT
The ultrasound marten repellent device is designed to protect cars and caravans from marten damage.
This device is not designed to be used by children or persons with limited metal abilities or without experience and/or lack of required specialist knowledge.
Keep children away from the device.
Utilisation according to the intended purpose also includes the observance of all information in these operating instructions, particularly the
observance of the safety instructions. Any other utilisation is considered to be contrary to the intended purpose and may lead to material damages or personal
injuries. EAL GmbH assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use.

SAFETY NOTES

• For your own safety, only use accessories and spare parts that are stated in these Instructions or are recommended by the manufacturer!
• When working on the battery or the electrical system of your vehicle, never wear metal bracelets. There is a risk of injury.
• For instructions on disconnecting the battery, read the manual of your vehicle or ask your specialist workshop.
• Regularly check the rm seating of the marten repellent device and the connecting cable.
• Disconnect the device or remove the fuse in the plus cable, if you need to jump start the vehicle or quickly recharge the battery. These processes may
involve voltage peaks which could damage the device.
• Never clean the device with a steam or pressure washer.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the engine compartment thoroughly or use the primer spray for removing marten scent marks, item number: 16265 before installing the ultrasound
marten repellent device. We also recommend cleaning the underside of the vehicle and the site on which it stands.
CAUTION: Before starting with the installation of the ultrasound marten repellent device, read the instructions in the manual
of your vehicle regarding disconnecting the battery. Disconnecting the battery may result in information in the on-board computer and radio settings being lost.
Disconnect the battery.
INSTALLATION
Install the ultrasound marten repellent device in such a way that the sound is able to spread freely, similar to the light cone of a torch. Select a position that is
as high up as possible in the engine compartment to prevent the risk of inuence from dirt and water. Ensure a good distance is left between the device and
heat sources such as the exhaust, catalytic converter and rotating parts. Make sure that the fuse in the connecting cable is easily accessible. In very tight engine
compartments, it may be necessary to install multiple martin repellent devices since the ultrasound can be shielded considerably by obstacles.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
First check whether terminal 15, the switched plus from the ignition switch is switched to the earth terminal 31 when the ignition is switched o. If this is the
case, choose the „Automatic“ connection method: If this is not the case, you may connect the device using the method „with changeover relay“ or „continuous
operation“ (not permitted for StVZO areas (German road trac regulations)).
AUTOMATIC
Connect the plus cable (red cable with fuse) to the permanent plus, terminal 30. Connect the minus cable (black cable with eyelet) to the switched plus of the
ignition switch, terminal 15. The device is switched o when the ignition is started.
WITH CHANGEOVER RELAY
For this connection method, you will need an additional 12V car changeover relay (not included in the scope of delivery). Connect the
connections of the relay and the ultrasound marten repellent device as follows:
30 permanent plus
85 to earth, terminal 31
86 to the switched plus from the ignition switch, terminal 15
87 is not needed
87a to the red cable of the ultrasound device
Black cable of the ultrasound device to earth, terminal 31

Permanent operation (not permitted for StVZO areas)
Connect the plus cable (red cable with fuse) to the permanent plus, terminal 30. Connect the minus cable (black cable with eyelet) to the earth, terminal 31.
The device will now operate permanently, thus also during travel.
Connect the battery again and check the rm seating of the pole clamps.
Make sure that the installation of the ultrasound marten repellent device does not inuence any other functions of the vehicle.
CAUTION: When the vehicle stands for a long time, the battery may discharge.
REPLACING A DEFECTIVE FUSE
Unscrew the housing of the fuse holder in the plus cable. Replace the defective fuse with a new, fuse of the same type F 200mA 250V. Screw the fuse holder
back together again.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
If used in accordance with the intended purpose, the ultrasound marten repellent device is maintenance-free.
NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household waste! Electrical and electronic scrap must be collected separately and
disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your community or city administration regarding disposal
options for electrical and electronic scrap.

• Contrôlez régulièrement la bonne position de l‘appareil de défense contre les martres et le câble de raccord.
• Débranchez l‘appareil et retirez le fusible dans le câble positif si vous démarrer le véhicule ou si les piles sont chargées rapidement. Des piques de tension
peuvent survenir lors de ces processus, ce qui peut endommager l‘appareil.
• Ne nettoyez jamais l‘appareil avec des jets de vapeurs ou au karcher.
MODE D‘EMPLOI
Nettoyez le compartiment moteur en profondeur ou utilisez un spray de pré-traitement d‘élimination d‘odeur de martre numéro d‘article : 16265 avant de
monter l‘appareil de défense à ultrason contre les martres. Il est également recommandé de nettoyer le bas de caisse de la voiture ainsi que les places assises.
ATTENTION : Avant de commencer le montage de l‘appareil de défense à ultrason contre les martres, lisez les informations pour
le débranchement des piles dans le mode d‘emploi de votre véhicule. Les informations de l‘ordinateur de bord et les installations radio peuvent être perdues lors du débranchement des piles.

MONTAGE
Installer l‘appareil de sorte que le son puisse sortir facilement, de la même façon que le faisceau lumineux d‘une lampe de poche. Choisissez un endroit de
xation se trouvant dans le compartiment moteur an d‘éviter des détériorations dues à de la saleté ou à de l‘eau. Maintenez à distance des sources de chaleur
telles que l‘échappement, le catalyseur et les pièces rotatives. Veillez à ce que le fusible soit facilement accessible dans le câble de raccordement. Dans les
compartiments moteur étroits, il peut être nécessaire de monter plusieurs appareils de défense à ultrason contre les martres car l‘ultrason peut être fortement
isolé par des obstacles.
BRANCHEMENT ÉLECTRIQUE
Vériez d‘abord si la pince 15, + du commutateur d‘allumage branché, lors d‘allumage branché à la masse, pince 31, est branchée. Dans ce cas, choisissez le
mode de branchement « Automatique ». Si ce n‘est pas le cas, vous pouvez connecter l‘appareil en mode « avec relais commutateur » ou « fonctionnement
continu » (pas occasionnel dans le cadre du Code de la Route).
AUTOMATIQUE
Connectez le câble + (câble rouge avec fusible) au + continu, pince 30. Connectez le câble - (câble noir avec œillet en anneau) au + branché du commutateur
d‘allumage, pince 15. L‘appareil est éteint lorsque l‘allumage est branché.
AVEC RELAIS COMMUTATEUR
Pour ce type de branchement, vous aurez besoin d‘un relais commutateur 12V (non fourni à la livraison). Branchez le relais et l‘appareil de défense à ultrason
contre les martres comme suit :
30 au + permanent
85 à la masse, pince 31
86 au + branché du commutateur, pince 15
87 n‘est pas nécessaire
87a au câble rouge de l‘appareil à ultrason
Câble noir de l‘appareil à ultrason à la masse.
Pince 31
L‘appareil est maintenant éteint lorsque l‘allumage est branché.

FONCTIONNEMENT CONTINU PAS OCCASIONNEL DANS LE CADRE DU CODE DE LA ROUTE
Connectez le câble + (câble rouge avec fusible) au + continu, pince 30. Connectez le câble - (câble noir avec œillet à anneau) à la masse, pince 31. L‘appareil
fonctionne maintenant en mode continu, donc aussi pendant le trajet.
Rebranchez les piles et contrôlez la bonne position des pinces de polarité.
Assurez-vous qu‘aucune autre fonction du véhicule ne soit compromise lors du montage de l‘appareil de défense à ultrason contre les martres.
ATTENTION : Les piles peuvent être déchargées après une longue période de non-utilisation.
REMPLACER UN FUSIBLE DÉFECTUEUX
Dévissez le boîtier du porte-fusible dans le câble +. Remplacez le fusible défectueux par un neuf de la même valeur, F 200mA 250V, fusible. Revissez le porte-fusible.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
À condition d‘être utilisé conformément aux spécicités pour lesquelles il a été conçu, l‘appareil n‘exige pas de maintenance.

Ne jetez pas d‘appareil électrique aux ordures ! Les appareils électriques et électroniques usagés doivent être collectés séparément et être
envoyés pour un recyclage écologique. Renseignez-vous quant aux possibilités d‘élimination d‘appareils électriques et électroniques usagés
auprès de votre administration communale ou municipale.

REGLEMENTAIR GEBRUIK
Het ultrasoon marter-afweerapparaat wordt gebruikt om auto‘s en campers te beschermen tegen marterschade.
Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt door kinderen, personen met beperkte geestelijke vaardigheden of zonder ervaring en/of gebrek aan kennis. Kinde-
ren moeten uit de buurt van het apparaat worden gehouden.
Tot het reglementair gebruik behoort ook de inachtneming van alle informatie in deze handleiding, vooral de inachtneming van de veiligheidsvoorschriften.
Elk ander gebruik geldt als niet-reglementair en kan materiële schade of persoonlijk letsel veroorzaken. EAL GmbH is niet aansprakelijk voor schade als gevolg
van niet-reglementair gebruik.

• Gebruik voor uw eigen veiligheid uitsluitend toebehoren of reserveonderdelen die in de gebruiksaanwijzing staan vermeld of waarvan het gebruik door
de fabrikant wordt aanbevolen!
• Draag nooit metalen armbanden bij werkzaamheden aan de accu of de elektrische installatie van uw voertuig. Er bestaat gevaar voor letsel.
• Lees de informatie over het loskoppelen van accu‘s in het handboek van uw voertuig of informeer hierover bij uw garage.
• Controleer regelmatig of het marter-afweerapparaat en de aansluitkabel goed vastzitten.
• Koppel het apparaat af of verwijder de zekering in de pluskabel bij een jumpstart van het voertuig of als de accu snel wordt opgeladen. Bij deze werkzaamheden kunnen spanningspieken ontstaan die het apparaat kunnen beschadigen.
• Reinig het product nooit met een stoom- of hogedrukreiniger.
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
Reinig de motorruimte grondig of gebruik de voorbehandelingsspuitbus met martergeurverwijderaar, artikelnummer 16265 voordat u het ultrasoon
marter-afweerapparaat monteert. Wij adviseren tevens om de bodemplaat van het voertuig en de parkeerplaats te reinigen.
LET OP: Lees voordat u het ultrasoon marter-afweerapparaat gaat monteren de handleiding van uw voertuig over hoe de accu
moet worden losgekoppeld. Door het loskoppelen van de accu kunnen informatie van de boordcomputer en radio-instellingen
verloren gaan.
Koppel de accu los.
MONTAGE
Bevestig het ultrasoon marter-afweerapparaat zodanig dat het geluid vrij kan ontsnappen, vergelijkbaar met de lichtbundel van een zaklamp. Kies een zo
hoog mogelijke montageplaats in het motorcompartiment om aantasting door vuil en water te voorkomen. Plaats het apparaat zo ver mogelijk uit de buurt
van warmtebronnen, zoals uitlaat, katalysator en draaiende delen. Let erop dat de zekering in de aansluitkabel goed toegankelijk moet zijn. In kleine motorcompartimenten kan het nodig zijn om meerdere marter-afweerapparaten te installeren omdat het ultrasoongeluid sterk wordt afgeschermd door obstakels.
ELEKTRISCHE AANSLUITING
Controleer eerst of klem 15, de geschakelde plus van het contactslot, bij uitgeschakelde ontsteking naar massa, klem 31, wordt geschakeld. Als dat het geval
is, selecteert u verbindingstype „automatisch“. Als dit niet het geval is, kunt u het apparaat in verbindingstype „met wisselrelais“ of „continubedrijf“ aansluiten (niet toegestaan volgens StVZO).
AUTOMATISCH
Sluit de pluskabel (rode kabel met zekering) aan op de permanente plus, klem 30. De minkabel (zwarte kabel met ringoog) sluit u aan op de geschakelde plus
van het contactslot, klem 15. Het apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld bij het aanzetten van het contact.
MET WISSELRELAIS
Voor dit type verbinding hebt u nog een extra 12V-wisselrelais voor de auto nodig (niet inbegrepen). Sluit de aansluitingen van het relais en het ultrasone
marter-afweerapparaat als volgt aan:

CONTINUBEDRIJF NIET TOEGESTAAN VOLGENS STVZO
Sluit de pluskabel (rode kabel met zekering) aan op de permanente plus, klem 30. De minkabel (zwarte kabel met ringoog) sluit u aan op massa, klem 31. Het
apparaat werkt nu in continubedrijf, ook tijdens het rijden.
Sluit de accu weer aan en controleer of de accupolen goed vastzitten.
Zorg ervoor dat door de installatie van het marter-afweerapparaat geen andere voertuigfuncties worden beïnvloed.
LET OP: Bij langdurige periodes van inactiviteit kan de accu leegraken!
EEN DEFECTE ZEKERING VERVANGEN
Schroef de behuizing van de zekeringhouder in de pluskabel los. Vervang de defecte zekering door een nieuw, gelijkwaardig type zekering: F 200 mA 250 V.
Schroef de zekeringhouder weer in elkaar.
ONDERHOUD EN VERZORGING
Bij reglementair gebruik is het ultrasone marter-afweerapparaat onderhoudsvrij.
INFORMATIE OVER DE BESCHERMING VAN HET MILIEU
Gooi elektrische apparaten niet weg met het gewone huishoudelijke afval! Afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparaten moeten gescheiden worden ingezameld en op milieuvriendelijke wijze worden gerecycled. U kunt informatie inwinnen bij uw gemeente- of stadsbestuur over
de afvoermogelijkheden voor afgedankte elektrische- en elektronische apparaten.
