The Larson Electronics MDC-240-200MB-8X120-2X240 Mobile Distribution System takes 240V AC on the input side and provides 120V
and 240V AC on the output side. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found
240VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This portable spiderbox is suitable for outdoor
applications.

The MDC-240-200MB-8X120-2X240 temporary power distribution system provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to
tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators
performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an
alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 240V 60hz input which it then provides 120V and 240V
AC on the output side. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via eight 20A, 120V GFCI protected 5­20 duplex receptacles with weatherproof covers and 240VAC available via one 30 amp L15-30R twist lock receptacle and one Hubbell
HBL460R9W 60 amp receptacle with waterproof covers.

Description:

15' of #2/0 Type-W line in power cord is included to connect the substation to a primary 240V primary power supply. This power distribution
system conforms to UL 508A.
The main load center is protected by a 200 amp load center with main breaker for circuit protection. 120V line out protection is provided by eight
20-amp, 125 Volt, 1 pole breakers. 240V line out protection is provided by one 30-amp, 240 Volt, 2 pole breaker and one 240 Volt, 2 pole
breaker. Connection for 120/240V is through receptacles mounted on the side of the load center. Receptacles include eight 5-20 120V, GFCI
waterproof duplex receptacles, one 240V L15-30R watertight receptacle, and one 240V Hubbell HBL460R9W receptacle. The load center is
mounted within NEMA 3R enclosure.
The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely
stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility.
This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to
150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites,
plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
