The Larson Electronics MDC-208Y-100MB-8X120 Mobile Distribution System steps down 208Y electrical current to 120V AC 60hz. This
power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 208Y power from a variety of sources
including generators and direct grid power. This portable spiderbox is suitable for outdoor applications.

The MDC-208Y-100MB-8X120 temporary power distribution system provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap
into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing
plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative
to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 208Y 60hz which it then steps down to 120 VAC. The power
distribution system on this portable substation makes 120VAC available via eight 20A, 120V GFCI protected 5-20 duplex receptacles with
weatherproof covers.

Description:

10' of #6/4 Type-W line in power cord is included to connect the substation to a primary 208Y primary power supply. This power distribution
system conforms to UL 1640.
The main load center is protected by a 100 amp main breaker for circuit protection. 120V line out protection is provided by eight 20amp, 125 Volt,
1 pole breakers. Connection for 120V is through receptacles mounted on the side of the load center. Receptacles include eight 5-20 120v, GFCI
waterproof duplex receptacles. The load center is mounted within a NEMA 3R enclosure. This temporary power distribution solution can be
modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements.
Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is
designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer
and load assembly is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the
standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform.
This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets and a top located lifting eyelet allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced
with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs for an additional cost. Units are available up to
150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites,
plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
