Larson Electronicss’ LM-30-3S-2X1000W telescoping steel light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy 220,000 lumens of intense lighting in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30 feet for effective light coverage. This light boom can be extended to 30 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 14 feet for applications where a footprint smaller than 14 feet is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 14' in length and 4" in diameter by 1/8" thick, middle section 12' in length and 3" in diameter by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 8' and 2" in diameter by 1/8" thick. Each section has 2 foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3/16 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch. This fold over light tower is equipped with two of our wet area suitable HID-22-SL-REM metal halide floodlight fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 220,000 lumens at 2000 watts. Each fixture produces 110,000 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 1000 watts @8.34 amps for a combined 16.67 amp draw on a 120 volt electrical system. These industrial grade light fixtures are UL 1572 listed and approved for use wet locations. The lights are wired to a NEMA 3R junction box at the top of the tower, with a NEMA 3R remote ballast enclosure at the base of the tower and 25 foot of SOOW cable extending from the base mast and terminated in an L5-15 (120V) L6-15 (208/240V), L7-15 (277V) twist lock plug.

The lamp fixtures mounted atop this fold over light mast have 19” reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 2.5 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom via an adjustable U-bracket that allows the operator to independently adjust each lamp both vertically and horizontally. Each fixture includes an internal support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom. This is a heavy duty light boom designed for use in demanding conditions and for overall longevity in difficult construction environments with heavy duty steel construction for maximum durability. We make this lighting solution in the United States. Larson Electronics tower lights are designed for industrial, commercial, emergency response, and military applications where the operators are working in harsh, destructive environments and the operators income or mission success are dependent on dependable, durable lighting.
