This 10 watt explosion proof LED work light from Larson Electronics produces 1050 lumens of bright white light and comes complete with an
explosion proof cord reel with spark proof ratchet mechanism. The EHL-LED-7W-50-HR fluorescent drop light has no ballast and the housing is
constructed of non sparking aluminum which results in a very lightweight unit. This hazardous location hand lamp is Class 1, Division 1 and 2 and
Class 2 Division 1 and 2 hazardous location environment approved.
The non sparking reel contains this unit’s 50' of SOOW Cord for convenient cord management. This explosion proof reel and LED hand lamp can
be installed and used within the hazardous location area, making it ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed
lighting is desired.

Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of
heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that
illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and
provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler
than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light
emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
This 10 watt LED drop light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present and projects 1050 lumens of
light, which is twice the lumens per watt output of a 100 watt incandescent bulb. This unit is rated Class 1, Division 1 and comes complete with
50’ of SOOW 16/3 AWG. The Class 1, Division 1 rated reel contains 50’ of SOOW 16/3 AWG cord, a spark free ratchet, explosion proof slip-ring
housing and meets federal specification JC-580A.
This hand lamp has a high efficiency LED bulb that requires no ballast, so the operator doesn't need to drag the ballast housing around. This can
be particularly annoying when the ballast becomes entangled in the cord. This explosion proof LED hand light operates on standard 120-277
Volts AC 50/60 Hz or 11-25V AC/DC for low voltage applications. The light produced by this unit has a 6000k color temperature, which is much
sharper and whiter than the light produced by incandescent lamps. The light produced by this lamp is ideal for close work and inspection
activities where good contrast and true color representation is needed. The LED lamp in this unit runs much cooler than incandescent or
fluorescent lamps, resulting in a lamp housing that remains cool to the touch and eliminates the accidental burns often encountered with
incandescent drop lights.

fixtures with removable LED bulbs). After 30 days, the customer ships
the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics at their
expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new
replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt,
Larson Electronics will provide a return label via email to the customer.
