Operation of the

Lang Purple Plus Oven

The following information explains the basic operation of the Lang Purple Plus
Oven, including programming nine products, operation of the o ven, and manually
programming the oven.

Explanation of the Control Pan el:

STATUS DISPLAY

NUMBERED KEYS

SHELF KEYS

"MAN PROG"

"READ/CLEAR"

Turns the oven on and off.

Displays the oven status.

Numbered 0 to 9 these keys contain the programs that, when

selected, will run the oven.

Labeled A to E these keys indicate which shelf the product is placed
on, A being the top shelf.

Short for Manual Program, this key allows the operator to enter a
program without being required to enter the programming code. The
program is lost once the oven is turned off, or when a new manual
program is entered.

Pressing this key will take the operator back to the previous screen.
Holding it down will take the computer back to the beginning screen.

Press the Read/Clear key three times and then a product key and the
screen will display the program.

Daily Operation of the Purple Plus

Convection Oven

Step 1

Turn the Power Switch On by flipping the power toggle switch to the up position.

Select the product you wish to bake by pressing the number key (0-9) for that product.
