A Signal word designates a degree or level of hazard seriousness. The signal words are:
!
DANGER
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury. This signal word is limited to the most extreme situations, typically for machine components that, for functional purposes, cannot be guarded.

signals are recommended wheneverdriving on public roads. Use lights and devices provided with implement.
Transport Machinery Safely
Comply with state and local laws.Maximum transport speed for
implement is 20 mph. DO NOT EXCEED.Nevertravelat a speed which does not allow adequate control of steering and stopping. Some rough terrain require a slower speed.
Sudden braking can cause a
towed load to swerve and upset. Reduce speed if towed load is not equipped with brakes.
Use the following maximum
speed - tow load weight ratios as a guideline:
20 mph when weight is less than
or equal to the weight of tractor.
10 mph when weight is double
the weight of tractor.
IMPORTANT: Do not tow a load
that is more than double the weight of tractor.
Keep Riders Off Machinery
Riders obstruct the operator’s

Introduction

Introduction
Land Pride welcomes you to the growing family of new product owners.
This Grading Scraper has been designed with care and built by skilled workers using quality materials. Proper assembly, maintenanceand safe operating practices will help you get years of satisfactory use from the machine.

Application

The Land Pride GS25 Series Grading Scrapers come in 84" and 96" working widths with a Category l & ll 3-point hitch for attaching to tractors in the 40-90 hp working range. The hitch is also Quick Hitch compatible.
Grading Scrapers have uses and applications in landscaping, farms, ranches, construction sites, hunting camps, fishing camps, logging sites, mining operations, large estates, small acreages, sod farms, and municipal and county rural road maintenance facilities. These GradingScrapers are uniquely designedtobe extra user friendly and a low cost alternative for road grading applications.Unlike a box scraper, theyarenot designed to transfer large volumes of dirt from one location to another and as a result do not require the additional horsepower that a box scraper normally requires. Nor doesitrequire the tending of tractor 3-pointliftcontrolsto maintain grade that a box scraper might require.
Simply setting a properly adjusted GS Series Grading Scraper on the ground and driving forward enables the operator to grade off high spots and fill in ruts and low spots on unimproved roads and lanes with little or no manipulation of the tractors3-point hitch controls.Unlike a rear blade, theyrequire no adjustmentof blade angling or offset positions. The GS Series Grading Scraper simply and quickly moves dirt or aggregate from high spots to low spots. Should a large accumulation of unwantedbuildup of soil oraggregateoccur between the blades, initiating a slight raise onthe tractors lift controls will allow excess material to flow out uniformly and evenly under the leveling scraper blades.
See“Section 6: Specifications & Capacities” onpage 15 and “Section 7: Features andBenefits” on page16 for additional information and performance enhancing options.
