DEMINERALIZER BOTTLES
The LaMotte Demineralizer Bottle is a plastic bottle with a pour spout and a
special filter inside the cap. The bottle is partially filled with an ion exchange
resin containing an indicator to show when the exchange resin has been
exhausted. The indicator will change from dark blueish-green to yellow amber
when the resin should be replaced. The Demineralizer Bottle is available in
four different sizes, as listed below. Use the “Bottle Code” to order a complete
bottle with resin and instructions. Use the “Refill Code” to order a resin refill
package.

NOTE: The Demineralizer Bottle may not remove all of the chloride ions
from tap water. Tap water from water softener systems may contain
abnormally high amounts of chloride. This may result in high salinity test
results. Perform a salinity test on the Demineralizer Bottle water ONLY to
determine the contribution by the tap water to the salinity test result.
