Features
• Dual power—runs on 4 “C” batteries, or plug it into a standard wall outlet.
• Digital display—displays information, such as volume and track number, when power is on.

• Headphones jack—listen to your music privately, using your own headphones.
• Plays CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs.
• Automatically sample the first 10 seconds of each track to find the one you want.
• Skip to the start of a track, or fast forward or reverse to any point.
• Play tracks in order or at random.
• Anti-skip technology reduces sound skipping when player is moved while in use.
• Auto-off feature—player turns itself off when not in use.
• Power indicator—light is green when power is on.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral trian­gle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and servicing instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK). NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not use the plug with an extension cord, receptacle, or other outlet unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade exposure. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. To prevent electrical shock, match wide blade plug to wide slot, fully insert.

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufactur­er’s instructions.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polar­ized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are pro­vided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conve­nience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service per­sonnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is dam­aged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
14. This appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
15. Power Sources: This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your product dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.

17. Servicing: Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous volt­age or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
18. Safety Check: Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.
Do not apply oil or petroleum products or solvents to any part of this player.

Please read important information displayed on the rating plate located on the bottom enclosure before connecting to AC Mains or any operation.
