The LTM-RS14A is the audio companion for the LTM-RS14V Video Media Splitter. It features 14 input channels of balanced stereo audio. Using high speed low noise operational amplifiers for signal processing, the
LTM-RS14A offers clean and precision signal impedance/level conversion for Broadcast Internet
Streaming Applications. Each Balanced Input is converted to Two Unbalanced Outputs for dual streaming or streaming/monitoring operations. An additional parallel output is available as a 3.5mm Stereo Mini.
Front panel LEDs indicate the existence of audio.Housed in a 3RU 19-inch rackmount enclosure,the unit operates on 110/220 Volts with an automatic switching power supply.

SPECIFICATIONS
The LTM-RS14A was designed for those applications where multiple 1x2 signal distribution technology is required. For
web streaming applications,the LTM-RS14A is the perfect solution to compact multi-channel signal distribution in a 2RU
enclosure.
The rear panel of the LTM-RS14A clearly indicates the wiring connection of the unit. After installation in your rack,simply
plug standard XLR audio cables in to the connector marked “Input”. The front panel LEDs will indicate when each channel (left and right) has a signal present.
Connect the outputs to the connectors so marked. The LTM-RS14A converts balanced signals to unbalanced signals, then
distributes those signals to two outputs in 2 different audio connector formats: RCA phono and Mini 3.5mm Stereo.
There is no need for calibration or any adjustments. The LTM-RS14A is shipped factory adjusted for standard line level
audio at 1.97 Vp-p.
The circuitry of the LTM-RS14A is designed with high quality line receivers on the inputs and unbalanced line driver outputs. Internal adjustments can be re-calibrated for more gain and line drive. This should only be performed by a trained
technician with the proper knowledge and equipment.
The LTM-14V is equipped with an auto-switching 100/220 50/60Hz power supply.

1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this equipment to the environment of Humidity and/or
dust. Do not use this equipment in an unprotected outdoor installation or any area classified as a
wet area.
2. The operating temperature of this product must be kept between -40°C and +95°C. Direct sunlight
or an intense source of heat, direct or ambient, must not be introduced to the product either by
induction or contact.
3. Always keep the product on a stable and secure base or enclosure. Do not drop the product or subject it to sudden heavy impact.
4. Provide adequate ventilation so that thermal characteristics do not cause an increase in product temperature to resulting in overheating.
5. Do not clean the unit by using electrically conductive or corrosive chemicals. Always be certain to
unplug the unit from AC wall power before any major cleaning. Use a damp cloth only for cleaning.
6. Do not subject the product to electrical mains power over voltage:The product must be used at the
rated supply voltages indicated on the product rear panel only.
7. Do not plug the product into an overloaded electrical outlet. This may result in fire or electrical
shock.
8. Object Ingress and Liquid Entry: Never insert or push sharp metal objects into the product or use such
devices for an attempt at opening or servicing the product. Servicing should be referred to a trained
and qualified technician only. Do not allow liquid of any type to enter the unit. Do not allow the unit
to be submersed in water as this may cause a shock hazard.
9. A trained qualified technician should perform all servicing of the unit.There are no serviceable components within the unit for user access.
