Château Series Ranges & Cooktops
Each Château range and cooktop is made by hand in the La Cornue atelier in France. Each piece
is a unique custom creation, built with a specific owner in mind. Ranges are built to a standard height
of 920 mm/36 inches. The legs are adjustable. The height of the cooker can vary from 910mm (35.82”) to
920mm (36.22”). Custom heights are available by quote.

Black Enameled Plaque: The signature cast iron top with an enamel coating.Note that over time this coating may become
stained or chip.No charge if ordered with stove.
Flushed Backsplash (additional charge): Ideal for island applications, this may be ordered in 100 mm depth (Total Depth
700 mm) or 135 mm depth (Total Depth 735 mm). $625. Note that the standard backsplash is raised 2" above the cooktop frame.
Black Toe Kick: Stainless Steel Toe Kick may be substituted for glossy Black Toe Kick; no charge if ordered with stove.

One oversized brass burner set inside an enameled drip tray with an enamel-coated cast

PLAQUE “FRENCH TOP”: LAR GE, PETI TE & BLACK E NAMELE D
One gas burner installed beneath a solid cast iron top, serving as the heat source
for the entire cast iron surface.The cast iron plaque becomes the cooking center
and offers variable heat zones with the strongest heat in the center, directly above
the burner, and diffusing outwards. Allows for multiple sauce pans above a single
indirect heat source.

Since every installation is unique, Hotte Chateau and Hotte Villa hoods are sold without a blower system, as
a shell-only, unless otherwise specified. Please contact your local HVAC contractor to discuss specific installation
requirements. La Cornue does offer standard Chateau hood models with blower option, as noted below. For
custom inserts, please inquire with Purcell Murray directly.

Château Series Color & Trim Options
La Cornue ranges, cooktops, hoods, cabinets and accessories are available in a variety of solid metal trim
living finishes, which patina naturally over time. Below is a pictoral diagram of the various standard trim
options La Cornue offers. All pricing includes your choice of Standard Color and Standard Trim. For an
additional cost, please select from the Premium, Deluxe or Custom body colors as well as the Premium,
Custom and Copper trim options (see right, Page 13). Cabinetry is available in a Wood Abbey finish for an

Rôtisserie
The Flamberge Rôtisserie is a wall-mounted gas rôtisserie designed for residential use. Constructed with
a concave rear wall of solid cast iron, it is heated by a powerful gas burner set beneath three motorized
spits. Synthetic wicks pull the heat up through the vaulted back of the unit, allowing the radiant heat to
gently cook foods as they rotate slowly on a spit over the flame.

Ordering & Shipping
All Château products (Château Ranges, Cooktops, Hoods, Rôtisserie, Cabinetry and Accessories) are
custom-ordered and quoted on a per-job basis. Lead time is approximately 14-16 weeks from date of order
to date of delivery. Freight rates are not reflected in retail prices and will be quoted on a per-job basis.
Standard freight is air freighted from France to U.S. and then truck to local delivery.
All CornuFé products (CornuFé 110 and 90) are inventoried at Purcell Murray and shipped upon order or
around target delivery date. If a product is not in stock, lead time will be quoted. Standard delivery time is
1-3 weeks for products in stock.

CHÂTEAU SERIES SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All Château units must ship via inside delivery due to weight and value. Quoted freight
includes wooden crate and import costs (customs, duties and taxes).
Inside Delivery Includes:
Insurance
Delivery crew of 2-3 men
90 minute onsite delivery time
Placement of unit inside customer’s home, three feet away from its location
Debris removal of original crate packaging, including the wooden crate,
pallet, Styrofoam, and plastic
Delivery Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm
Delivery within designated 5-hour delivery window, during normal business hours
CORNUFÉ SERIES SHIPPING & DELIVERY
CornuFé units may be shipped curbside/warehouse delivery or in-home delivery. Note
that rates for each option are quoted by state and unit.
Curbside delivery service includes:
Insurance
Delivery crew of 1-2 men
Delivery up to the driveway
Delivery Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm
Delivery within designated 5-hour delivery window, during normal business hours
In-home delivery is identical to Château in-home as detailed above
Items not covered (note the below conditions will incur additional costs):
