MONTAGE

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

- Verwenden Sie den Ausgleichsadapter nur an den hier genannten

- K&M-Stativen (siehe Punkt 14 und 15).

- Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise des verwendeten Stativs

- Prüfen Sie vor und nach Benutzung den Ausgleichsadapter auf

- Schäden. Ist das Produkt beschädigt, darf es nicht weiter eingesetzt

- werden.

- Die maximale zentrische Last richtet sich nach dem Stativ, darf

- jedoch 35 kg nicht überschreiten.

- Der Ausgleichsadapter dient ausschließlich dazu, bei unebenen

- Untergründen, die senkrechte Stellung des Auszugrohres zu

- gewährleisten.

- Untersagt ist, den Ausgleichadapter zu nutzen, um eine geneigte

- Stellung des Auszuges zu erreichen. Bedenken Sie die erhöhte

- Kippgefahr.

- Nicht für Außen- bzw. Feuchträume

- Prüfen Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen Festigkeit und Zustand der

- Bauteile und der Verschraubung

- Verhindern Sie den Zugriff nicht autorisierter Personen, v.a. hinsichtlich

- der Verschraubung. Gegebenenfalls empfehlen wir die von Hand zu

- bedienende Flügelmutter durch eine solche zu ersetzen, für die der

- Einsatz eines Werkzeuges erforderlich ist.

1 Um optimale Montagebedingen zu

1 haben, empfehlen wir das Stativ
1 aufzustellen, die Klemmschrauben
1 fest anzuziehen und seitlich auf den
1 Boden zu legen.

2 Entfernen Sie den Parkettschoner

2 am aufragenden Fuß des Stativs
2 und bringen dort stattdessen die
2 Kappe auf.

3 Nun schieben Sie das Rohr (der

3 lange Schaft zeigt dabei nach außen)
3 bis zum Anschlag auf das Fußrohr auf.

4 Am oberen Ende des Schaftes

4 befinden sich drei Aussparungen.
4 An dieser Stelle legen Sie die
4 Spannschelle seitlich an das Fußrohr.

5 Klappen Sie jetzt die andere Hälfte

5 der Spannschelle um das Bein bis
5 es hörbar einrastet, so dass beide
5 Laschen nur ein Schlitz von wenigen
5 Millimetern trennt.

6 Führen Sie die Schloßschraube

6 durch die Vierkantbohrung an einer
6 der beiden Laschen. Dann die
6 Scheibe aufbringen und die
6 Flügelmutter fest anziehen.

TEILE – ÜBERSICHT

Zunächst Sichtprüfung vornehmen, ob alle Teile vollständig und in Ordnung sind.

HÖHENAUSGLEICH PASSENDER K&M-STATIVE

STATIV AUFSTELLEN

17 Stellen Sie nun das Stativ
17 auf seine Beine.
17 In dieser Position mit dem voll
17 eingeschobenen Ausgleichs-
17 adapter befindet sich das Stativ
17 in der senkrechten Grundstellung,
17 d.h. es findet keinerlei Boden-
17 ausgleich statt.

AUSGLEICHSADAPTER EINSTELLEN

18 Öffnen Sie die Flügelmutter
18 ca. 2 Umdrehungen.

19 Schieben Sie das Fußrohr
19 ein Stück weit heraus
19 und stellen das Stativ ab.

10 Prüfen Sie den senkrechten

10 Stand - am besten mit Hilfe
10 einer Wasserwaage.

11 Gegebenenfalls korrigieren

11 Sie die Position des
11 Ausgleichsadapters bis...

12 ...der senkrechte (= der sicherste)

12 Stand des Stativs gegeben ist.

13 Ziehen Sie nun die Flügelmutter

ASSEMBLY

SAFETY NOTES

- Only use the Leveling leg on the K&M stands listed here

- (see Section 14 and 15)

- Observe the safety notes of the stand being used

- Check the Leveling legs for damage before and after use. In case

- of damage the product may not be used.

- The maximum central load is dependent on the stand, it may,

- however, not exceed 35 kg.

- The Leveling leg is only to be used in the case of uneven surfaces

- to ensure the upright level vertical position of the extension tube.

- The Leveling leg may not be used for finding a angled position of

- the extension tube. Consider the increased danger of the stand

- tipping over.

- not suitable for outdoors or moist rooms.

- routinely check the distances, tightness of the connections and

- the condition of the system.

- Ensure that the system cannot be accessed by unauthorized

- personnel, particularly as regards the connections/screws. If

- needed, we recommend that the wing nut (manual operation)

- included in the delivery be replaced with a nut that requires the

- use of tools.

1 For optimal assembly, we recommend

1 setting up the stand, the tightening of
1 the clamp screws and to place it
1 lengthwise on the floor.

2 Remove the end-caps from the load-

2 bearing leg of the stand and replace
2 them with the cap.

3 Now push the tube (the long shaft

3 points outwards) as far as it will go on
3 the leg tube.

4 At the upper end of the shaft there are

4 three recesses. Place the clamping
4 bracket on the leg tube over the
4 recesses.

5 Now place the other side of the

5 clamping bracket around the leg until it
5 clicks into place, so that there are only
5 a few millimeters between the screw
5 holes.

6 Place the carriage bolt into the square

6 drill hole on both plates. Then place the
6 disk and tighten the wing nut.

21445 Leveling leg
for speaker stand

THIS PRODUCT ENSURES THAT

- many K&M stands are upright, sturdy and have secure hold on difficult surfaces

- the elegant leveler for uneven surfaces, stairs and slopes

... UND OFFERS MANY ADVANTAGES:

- levels height differences variably (depending on the stand up to 200 mm)

- retrofitted for many K&M stands with leg tubes - ø35 mm (since Manufacturing Year 2009)

- simple installation and operation

- with extension, anti-slip and anti-rotation protection

- very inconspicuous on the stand, whether it's being used or not

- can stay on the stand, even when the stand is not in use

- (i.e. on level surface) or when the stand is collapsed

- NOTE: The weight bearing load of the installation is dependent

- NOTE: on the loudspeaker stand, however a maximum of 35 kg.

USAGE NOTES / FUNCTION

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT OF THE SUITABLE K&M STANDS

SETUP STAND

17 Now place the stand on its legs.
17 In this position with the Leveling leg
17 completed retracted the stand is in the
17 vertical base position, i.e. no leveling
17 adjustments have been made at this
17 point.

SETTING OF THE LEVELING LEG

18 Open the wing nut
18 approx. 2 turns.

19 Extend the foot tube
19 a bit and place the leg
19 back on the surface.

10 Check if the stand

10 is vertical i.e. level
10 using a level.

11 If needed, correct

11 the position of the
11 leveling leg until...

12 ...the stand is level

12 (= most secure).

13 Now re-tighten

13 the wing nut.

CHECK, MAINTENANCE, CLEANING

FAULT-FINDING (F) and REPAIR (R)

- Treating the product with due care maintains the function over the life time of the product.

- To care for the product use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning agent.

F: The Leveling leg retracts on its own

F: R: Check the connections (screws) and if needed tighten the wing nut 6
F: R: Degrease the stand foot tube

F: The Leveling leg is difficult to adjust

F: R: Check the stand foot tube to see if it is dirty, has scratches or dents.
F: R: WARNING: DO NOT lubricate, use fats or oils on the stand foot tube. This can result in
F: R: the risk of it retracting on its own, which if the loudspeaker is on the stand can result in
F: R: a substantial safety risk.
