SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

AUFSTELLANLEITUNG

Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für dieses Produkt entschieden haben. Diese Anleitung
informiert Sie über alle wichtigen Schritte bei Aufbau und Handhabung. Wir
empfehlen, sie auch für den späteren Gebrauch aufzubewahren.

- Auf geeigneten, d.h. tragfähigen und ebenen Untergrund achten

- Instrument mit Bedacht in die Auflage stellen und im Halsbügel ablegen

- Die Möglichkeit das Produkt zusammenzuklappen oder in der Breite zu verstellen,

- birgt naturgemäß Einklemmgefahren; umsichtige und aufmerksame Handhabung bei

- Aufbau, Betrieb und Abbau sind daher unverzichtbar

- Wo sich Gitarre und Stativ berühren, bilden Filzauflagen ein schützendes Polster.

- Diese verhalten sich den Lacken der Instrumente gegenüber neutral, d.h. sie greifen

- diese nicht an. Beachten Sie jedoch, dass manche Lacke (v.a. Nitrozellulose) relativ

- weich sind und schon das bloße Aufliegen sichtbare Spuren hinterlassen kann. Deren

- Ursache sind jedoch nicht chemische Reaktionen, sondern die pure Schwerkraft.

Das Packstück des »Carlos« zeichnet sich durch
seine außerordentliche flache Silhouette aus.
Sie beträgt gerade mal 86 mm.

2. STATIV AUFSTELLEN

Das Aufstellen des »Carlos«
ist sehr einfach.
Alle Bauteile sind bereits
vormontiert und müssen
lediglich in Position
gebracht werden

Nachdem der Ständer aus dem
Karton entnommen worden ist,
Stützstange am unteren Ende
fassen und aus der
Rasterung 2.a.1 lösen

2.b

Auflage am oberen Ende fassen
und diesen ebenfalls durch das
Ziehen nach vorne aus der
Rasterung 2.b.1 lösen. Dann
die Auflage um 270°, also einen
Dreiviertelkreis weiterdrehen

2.c

Stützstange in das "Schlüsselloch"
führen und bis zum Anschlag nach
hinten drücken

2.d

Halsbügel nach oben klappen bis
dieser nach ca. 90° im oberen
Schacht des Stativs einrastet 2.d.1

3. KORPUSAUFLAGE

Der »Carlos« ist gleichermaßen gut
geeignet für AKUSTIK- und E-GITARREN
Die Auflage des »Carlos« ist abgesetzt
und bietet dadurch komfortablen und
sicheren Sitz für beide Gitarrentypen:

E-Gitarren finden im vertieften Feld
der Auflage Platz. Der vordere Absatz
schützt gegen ungewollte Verdrehung.

3.b

Akustikgitarren steht die volle Tiefe
der Auflage zur Verfügung. Auch hier
verhindert der vordere Anschlag das
unbeabsichtigte Verdrehen der Gitarre.

4. GITARRENHALS-HALTEBÜGEL

Dieser erfüllt eine Doppelfunktion:

4.a

Ein fester und einteiliger U-Bügel dient
dem Gitarrenhals als sichere Ablage.

4.b

Bewegliche Riegel an beiden Seiten
des Hals -Bügels verhindern unvorher­gesehenes Herausfallen der Gitarre:

1. Zunächst Instrument an Bügel führen.

2. Beide Riegel nun zusammendrücken ...

2. ...Gitarrenhals durch die Öffnung führen...

2. ...und am hinteren Bügel anlehnen.

3. Riegel los- und einschnappen lassen

4.c

Die Riegel bilden nun einen Anschlag der
vor dem Herausfallen der Gitarre schützt.

4.d

Erst durch bewusstes Betätigen der Riegel
öffnen sich diese und geben die Gitarre frei.

4.e

Die Funktion des Riegels beruht auf Druck­federn und Drehachsen
(Kreuzschlitzschrauben).
Bitte regelmäßig sicheren Sitz prüfen.

5. GITARRE EINSTELLEN

Die schonendste Art der Aufbewahrung ist,
das Instrument zuerst auf die Filzpolster
der Auflagebügel zu stellen 5.a und dann
am Rücken anzulehnen 5.b.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for choosing this product.The instructions provide directions to all of the
important set up and handling steps. We recommend you keep these instructions
for future reference.

- Be sure that the surface will bear the load and is suitable and level.

- Carefully set or lean the instrument into the neck support.

- The fact that the product is collapsible and its width is adjustable bears the risk of

- pinching or wedging one's hands and/or fingers; careful and attentive handling during

- setup, operation and disassembly is indispensable.

- Where guitar and stand contact, felt pads form a protective cushion. These are neutral

- to the instrument surfaces, i.e. they do not bite them. Please note, however, that some

- surfaces (particularly nitrocellulose) are relatively soft and just placing an instrument on

- the stand can leave marks. The cause of the marks is, however, not a chemical

- reaction, rather it is just a matter of gravity.

After the stand has been
taken out of the box,
grab onto the support struts
at the bottom of the stand
and pull out from the grid 2.a.1

Hold on to the support from the top
and also pull the support away
from the grid 2.b.1
Then turn the support 270°, i.e.
three-quarters of one turn

Place the support strut into
the “keyhole” as far
as it will go

2.d

Fold the neck support upwards
approx. 90° into the upper shaft

3. PLACING THE CORPUS OF THE GUITAR

»Carlos« is equally suited for ACOUSTIC
and E-Guitars. The »Carlos« support has
a recess and offers safe and secure
hold for both guitar types:

3.a

E-Guitars are set into a recessed area
on the support. The front guard protects
against the guitar turning inadvertently.

3.b

Acoustic guitars use the entire
recessed area. The front guard
ensures that the guitar does not
turn inadvertently.

4. GUITAR NECK SUPPORT ARMS

This meets two functions:

4.a

A fixed and single U-support ensures
a safe and secure hold of the guitar neck.

4.b

Movable lock on both sides of the
neck support ensures that the
guitar does not inadvertently fall:

1. Lead instrument to bracket.

2. Push the neck lock now...

2. ...lead guitar neck through the mouth...

2. ...and lean against the rear bracket.

3. Release the neck lock and snap it in place

4.c

The lock protects the guitar
from falling out of the stand.

4.d

The guitar can only be removed
if the lock is consciously unlocked.

The lock function is based on pressure
springs and rotary axes (Phillips screws)
Please routinely check to ensure that guitar
is safe and secure.

5. PLACEMENT OF THE GUITAR

The safest and most protective manner to
store the instrument is to first place it on
the felt covered cushioned support arm 5.a
and then rest it on back of the stand 5.b.
