Remove battery cover and bat tery pack from interior assemb ly.

Initiate the pairing process at your smart home controller. Refer to your smart home system instructions for more information.
The lock and controll er must remain stationary for at least 60 seconds d uring the pairing process.

If pairing is unsuc cessful, follow your system's instructions to remove the lock from any other network, then pres s button “A” on the lock one time.
Repeat steps 4D and 4 E.

Hold the interior as sembly a maximum of 12" (30 5 mm) from your smart home co ntroller. When pr ompted b y your smart home syste m to initiate pairing at the lock, press button “A” on the lock interior on e time.

Note: Turnpiece may not rotate smoothly until after step 6.

This step will teach the lock the orientation of your doo r and is crucial for lock operation.
Make sure the door is ope n. Insert the battery pa ck while pressing and h olding the Program button. Keep holding the but ton for 35 seconds after the battery pack is in serted, then release the b utton.
The Status LED will lash red a nd green, and the lock will beep. Press and re lease the Program button again . The latch bolt will retrac t and extend on its own.

During the pair ing process, press b utton “A” on the lock interior once.
Removing the lock from the network
Follow your smart h ome system’s instruc tions to remove the lock from t he network. When p rompted by the system, pre ss button A” on the lock inte rior once.

In order to fully uti lize this product, you mu st have a ZWave controller compatib le with door locks. ZWave is a “Wirele ss mesh network,” and re sults may vary based o n building construc tion and communica tion path, with 35 fee t+ being typical ins talled distance fro m smart home control ler. It may be necessary to install addi tional ZWave beaming capabl e devices that can ser ve as repeaters to enhan ce the communicati on path between the lo ck and controller for a mo re robust ZWave network.
