Programming
IMPORTANT: Before any programming sequen ce, make
sure that your door is open a nd unlocked.
For all programming se quences below, success is in dicated by 2 beeps.
If unsuccessful , you will hear 3 beeps.
Note: If the lock is mu ted, you will not hear the lock beepi ng.
Move swiftly during programmin g. If no digit is pressed for 10 secon ds, the
touchscreen will turn o and you will n eed to restart the procedure .
This procedu re will delete all User Code s associated with
the lock, and th e default PC and User Code wil l be restored.
1. Make sure the door is ope n and unlocked.
Press and hold the Re set button for 5
seconds, until you he ar 3 long beeps.
2. Enter th e default PC (OOO 0), then press

4. The latch bo lt will extend and retract to learn the
orientation of the doo r. If successful, you will h ear
2 beeps. If uns uccessful, you will hear 3 beeps
(make sure the door is op en and unlocked and
that you are using a fresh set of ba tteries).
5. Test the lock : Activate the screen. With the
door open and un locked, press the Lock
symbol. Make sure it loc ks the door.
6. Test the default User Co de: Activate the screen.
Touch the random digits that appea r. Enter the
default User Code (1 234), then press the Loc k
symbol. Make sure it unlo cks the door.
How to add a one-time User Code
A one-time use r code may be used only once, an d
then it will be de leted immediately af ter use.

How to enable/disable User Codes
If User Codes a re disabled (example: whe n you go
on vacation), the lo ck can only be operated by the
key and turnpiece unti l they are enabled again.

How to delete all User Codes
If all User Cod es are deleted, the lock c an only be operated

How to enable/disable Auto-Lock
The Auto-Lock featu re automatically re-lock s your door
30 seconds af ter unlocking. This fea ture is o by d efault.

How to change your Programming Code
The Programmi ng Code (PC) will not unlock you r door. It is
an added securit y feature that is used to set up all fu nctions.
The defaul t PC is 00 00. It is recomme nded
that you change i t to a code of your own.

How to add User Codes
A total of 6 User Code s (and a temporary one- time
User Code) may be p rogrammed. Do not p rogram
a User Code that i s the same as your PC.

How to delete individual User Code s
The lock is pre-programm ed with a default
User Code of 1234 . It is recommended
that you delete thi s code.

The turnpie ce cannot rotate o r

Remove and reinst all the lock, making
sure that the tail piece is horizontal in
steps 4 and 5.
The lock can not be locked or u nlocked

at least one Us er Code and that the
User Codes a re not disabled. If n eeded,
restore the lock ’s default settings .

Make sure the User C ode is correct and
that the Lock symbo l is pushed after
entering the Us er Code. If the door st ill
won’t unlock , use a key to unlock the
door. Call technic al support for furth er
troubleshooting.
When the doo r is closed and t he Lock
symbol is pre ssed to lock the d oor, the
lock beep s 3 times. When t he door is
open and th e Lock symbol is pr essed
to lock the doo r, the lock doesn' t beep.
Make sure that the ho le in the door frame
behind the str ike is drilled at least 1 in ch
(25 mm) dee p. Also make sure the strike
plate is aligne d with the latch bolt. If
needed, re position the strike.

pre-set User Code and Programming Code. Upon installation and set-up, replace both of these codes with your own.
Since anyone with access to the interior assembly can reset
the lock and change the User Codes, you must restrict access to the interior assembly and routinely check the User
Codes to ensure they have not been altered without your
knowledge.

can provide complete security by itself. This lock may be
defeated by forcible or technical means, or evaded by entry
elsewhere on the property. No lock can substitute for caution, awareness of your environment, and common sense.
