CONTROL PANEL
1. Input Jack: This is a 1/4” 2-conductor input jack for plugging in your instrument. It is intended for guitars but will
accept other instruments as well.
2. Gain: Adjust this control clockwise to increase the amount of distortion. Use in the lower ranges (counter clockwise) to produce less distorted tones. As you increase the gain (clockwise), the amount of distortion increases, which is suitable for heavier types of music.
3. Volume (Lead): This is a volume control for the Lead channel only.
4. Channel Select: This switch selects between the Lead and Clean channels. Press IN to activate Lead channel.
5. Volume (Clean): This is a volume control for the Clean channel only.
6. Low: This passive EQ control adjusts the bass frequencies of the amplier. For a tighter low end, set this control in its
lower ranges. This is particularly helpful when using the amp at louder volumes.
7. Mid: This is a passive midrange control for both channels. When playing in the Lead channel, it works well to reduce the midrange for heavier types of music. Higher midrange settings help produce a singing, clear tone.
8. High: This passive control adjusts the high frequencies and interacts with the Low control. As the High control is turned up, lows automatically decrease. Conversely, if the High control is decreased, lows are increased. This interaction is typical of vintage-style, passive “tone stacks” and is responsible for the effectiveness of such a simple EQ system.
9. Delay/Reverb: This switch selects between Delay and Reverb effects. Press IN to choose Delay.
10. Effect Level: This control increases the effect signal level and mixes it with the instrument’s signal. Turn the control
clockwise to add the desired level of effects.
11. Chorus On: By pressing IN, this switch activates the Chorus effect. (Note: When Chorus is activated, it is always mixed with either Delay or Reverb, as selected by the Delay/Reverb switch.)
12. Power Indicator: When lit, the amplier is turned on and ready for use.
13. Power Switch: Provides AC power to the amplier when in the upward ON position.
Using the Built-In Effects
You may use either Delay by itself or Reverb by itself with the Double Barrel. When the Delay/Reverb switch is pressed IN, you get Delay. When this switch is OUT, you have Reverb. To hear more Delay or Reverb, simply turn up the Effect Level control and set it as desired.
If you choose, you may add a Chorus effect to your Reverb or Delay. Activate the Chorus by pressing this Switch IN. (Note: When Chorus is activated, the Double Barrel’s effect circuitry always mixes Chorus with Reverb or Delay to enhance the overall effect.)
