avoided, will result in death or serious injury. Usage of this signal
word is limited to the most extreme situations.
WARNING! This term indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION! This term indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in minor/moderate injury or product/property
damage. It also alerts against unsafe practices.
Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed
warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. If applicable, pass these instructions
on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions
and accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance,
including those listed below and on the following pages.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or serious personal injury:
• Unplug: Always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet when
not in use and before relocating, assembling, disassembling, or cleaning it.
• Children: Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product
is not intended for use by children.
• Unattended: Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use, especially
when children are present. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet
when it is not in use.
• Water: Never place the motor base in water or expose it to water or other liquid.
• Heat: Keep the appliance and cord away from heated surfaces and heat sources.
• Attachments: Do not use attachments that are not recommended in this
manual. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
• Moving parts: Do not attempt to touch moving parts while the product is in
use. Keep hands and utensils away from the moving parts during use.
• Moisture: Do not plug/unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a
wet hand. Do not operate or store the unit in a wet environment.
• Disconnect: To disconnect the product from an electrical outlet, pull directly on
the plug; do not pull on the power cord.
