FAQs
Which accessory do I use for different processing tasks?
• The stick mixer (blending shaft attached to the motor unit) is perfect for
mixing and processing softer foods such as soup, fruit and vegetable puree,
baby food or smoothies.
• The chopping blade inside the processing bowl is ideal for chopping and
mixing ingredients for a dip or salsa, or for chopping cheese, onions, garlic,
herbs, vegetables, meat (without bone and cut into cubes) and nuts such as
cashews.
• The blade holder holds the slicing, grating or shredding blades in place for
even slicing or shredding of vegetables or for grating food.
• The potato masher attached to the motor unit will turn cooked potatoes into
fluffy mash.
Can I use the processing bowl for making a cake?
No. This Food Preparation System is intended for short-time operation only,

However, the chopping blade in the processing bowl may be used for short
bursts of chopping/mixing, for example, when making a crumble.
Can I blend hot soup with the stick mixer?
Yes, the blending shaft is suitable for blending soups. You can use the stick
mixer directly in a saucepan, but take care with non-stick coatings and protect
yourself from hot splashes.
Can I grind coffee in the processing bowl?
No, the chopping blade is unsuitable for crushing very hard foods such coffee
beans, ice cubes, hard spices such as nutmeg or whole grains.
Are the accessories dishwasher safe?
Except for the motor unit and lid of the processing bowl, all other accessories
can be washed in the dishwasher, see opposite for more details.
How do I lock/unlock the lid of the processing bowl?
• To lock the lid, place the cover on top of the bowl, aligning the 'open lock'
symbol with the lid release button on top of the handle, then turn it clockwise to
lock. The lid release button is now aligned with the 'close lock' symbol.
• To unlock the lid, press the lid release button on top of the handle and turn the
lid anticlockwise to the 'open lock' symbol to open the bowl.

be returned to the supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data
(such as files stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on
a mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on
a games console or files stored on a USB memory stick) during the process of
repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost. We recommend you save this
data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with
refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used
where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specifications.
If at any time you feel your repair is being handled unsatisfactorily, you may
escalate your complaint. Please telephone us on 1300 886 649 or write to us at:
