Operation
The Kubu WTX-10 automatically comes up and begins operating once power is applied to it. No user configuration is required.
As soon as power is applied the WTX-10 it will initialize and begin operating as an 802.11n access point with a unique factory configured SSID. The SSID will be in the form “kubu_xxxxx” where xxxxx is a unique identifier made up of a combination of numbers and letters (e.g kubu_abc17).
The Kubu WTX-10 will digitize the audio signal input to it via the cable plugged into the audio jack and it will transmit that digitized audio stream over the Wifi network using the unique factory SSID.
Devices capable of receiving/playing the audio transmitted by the WTX-10 can then be connected to the Wifi network that has unique SSID for the Kubu WTX-10 device.
Any device capable of displaying available wifi networks can be used to verify that the WTX-10 has come up and established the wifi network since the SSID should be visible when looking for wifi networks to connect to from a wifi enabled device such as a laptop.
