Congratulations on your purchase of our ALTO - R range hood. It is designed with numerous helpful features to make cooking in your kitchen easier and enjoyable.
Please read the attached documents carefully before installing and/or using the range hood. This document includes important information such as installation, usage safety and directions.
Keep this document somewhere easily accessible. In the unlikely event that there is a mechanical failure or other malfunctions, please refer to this document for troubleshooting, warranty, and contact information.

This product is designed for residentail use only.
Maintenance must be performed by trained, qualied professional technicians. Your factory warranty may become void if the unit has been tampered with.
In the unlikely event that there is a malfunction, please unplug the unit and contact your local customer service center or dealer immediately.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge of using electrical appliances.
Children should be supervised when near any electrical appliances.
Do not leave the unit running without supervision.
Ensure that all light bulbs, xtures, oil lters, and other parts attached to the unit are correctly fastened before turning the unit on.
Do not put in or pull out the plug of the power supply without proper grounding
Before installation, ensure that your household power system can satisfy the normal electrical load capacity of this unit.
Do not replace the fuse of this unit for a higher powered fuse.
All packing material are recyclable. Please dispose of them using proper recycling techniques.

Adequate ventilation is always required when there is an open ame in-doors.
Do not check any moving or removable parts of the unit when the it is operating.
Do not touch the underside of the range hood for up to half an hour after cooking. It can be extremely hot, and may burn your hand.
Do not ambé under the cooker hood.
When frying food, always supervise closely as the heated oil may become a re hazard.
Disconnect the electrical plug prior to performing any service or maintenance.
Do not connect the unit directly to the power grid without using a socket.
The exhaust must be discharged into a duct that is used for removing fumes from a gas burning stove.
Other safety regulations of your local area must be fullled.

You will nd this capacitive touch button cluster at the front of your range hood.
Maximum Power
The highest possible setting for the range hood unit. Ideal for high heat frying. Press once to turn on, press again to turn o.
Medium Power
Medium setting that provides adequate ventilation for most day to day cooking. Press once to turn on, press again to turn o.
Lowest Power
The lowest possible power setting. Ideal for simmering. Press once to turn on, press again to turn o.
Lighting
Press once to turn on, press again to turn o.
Auto Time-delay O
This option keeps the unit operating for a 60 second period at its current speed setting and then it will turn itself o.
Install the unit at a dry location, without direct sunlight.
There should be adequate mounting surface under the cabinet to ensure its stability.
The range hood will need to be mounted right above the stove.
The range hood need to be mounted between 25.6” (650mm) to 29.5” (750mm) above the stove’s heading elements and burners
This range hood requires proper grounding. Do not install this unit without properly grounding the unit rst.

Cleaning
FAQ
It is recommended to clean the lters every three months following the instructions provided below:
Remove the lters from the range hood and wash it with a neutral liquid detergent and water solution.
For best oil, grease, grime, and stain removing eect, leave the lter soaked in the solution.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any detergent residue.
Metallic lters are dishwasher safe.
Metallic lters may alter in colour after several washes. This is due to the natural oxidation properties of the material.
There may be a re hazard if cleaning of the unit is not carried out in accordance with the instructions provided.
Please disconnect all power to the unit before cleaning or servicing.
Do not wash the range hood with water directly
Please clean and maintain the range hood periodically according to your usage and surrounding environment. This can help increase the lifespan of your range hood.
