Note: The following information should be used in conjunction with the Krix “Owner’s Manual”.

Tips for optimum sound performance:
Experiment with speaker placement 1. options before permanently mounting speakers. When used in an outdoor environment 2. it can be benecial to place speakers near a wall or other solid surface to reinforce bass. Mounting speaker up high and angled 3. down slightly can increase sound coverage. Although these speaker are weather-4. proof, a position protected from the elements will extend product life.

masonry is advisable.
Where an unusual speaker angle is required a custom brackets may be used mount the speaker (eg the Krix Qik5). The custom bracket can be attached to the brass inserts at the rear of the
enclosure (gure 1).

be attached to brass threaded inserts on the back of the enclosure.
To avoid injury or damage ensure that the

fasteners used to mount the bracket will not interfere with any electrical wiring, plumbing, etc, behind the mounting surface.
Select wall anchors, or screws,

appropriate for the desired mounting surface and speaker weight (Aquatix
2.5Kg, Tropix 3.5kg). It is recommended to use two wall anchors per bracket assembly.

Fasten ‘U‘ bracket to surface with screws, bolts, wall • anchors (or nails, the least secure method). (gure 2)
Connect speaker cables. (gure 3)
Attach speaker to ‘U’ bracket using bracket knobs. • (gure 4)
