Welcome to the Krell family of audio components. You have joined a select group of discriminating listeners who
enjoy the finest in music reproduction.
Krell Digital is dedicated to the development of techno-
logically advanced components for the reproduction of
leading-edge technology.
This Owner’s Reference is divided into several sections,
each designed to perform a different function. A Question and Answer section is also included where answers to
common questions are addressed. Should you have any

C. FCC COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

ment. Note: This equipment has been tested and found to com-
ply with the fimlts for a Class B digital device, pursuant
to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interfer-
ence in a residentiaf installation. This equipment gener­ates, uses, and can radiate radio frequen.cy.energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. D. UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
1. Open the box and remove the top layer of protective
foam. The following items will now be visibIe:

NOTE: If any of these items are not included please

2. Remove the contents from the second layer of foam and set them aside for later use. Carefully remove the
unit from its box and remove the protective plastic wrap. NOTE: Save all packing.materials. If you must ship your
CD-1 in the future repack tlae unit. in its original pa.ckag­ing to prevent transit damage. If ttle unit is returned to KRELL for service please send the remote control.
3. Remove _the shipping transport screws from the_
bottom o1" the unit. Their locations are marked with a
sticker on the bottom of the chassis.
CAUTION: FAILURE TO REMOVE TRANSPORT
SCREWS BEFORE OPERATION COULD RESULT IN
DAMAGE TO THE TRANSPORT.
