K-touch App - Introduction
K-touch Admin and Builder are designed to be used mainly on the
Firefox browser. Other browsers may incorrectly display or drop
important elements of the programs.
1 Introduction
Kramer Electronics presents the K-touch application that allows you to control
your Kramer room control setup from an iOS/Android tablets and smartphones.
This on-line guide is intended for the application installer.
The components of K-touch include:
K-touch Admin
K-touch Builder
K-touch Apps for iOS and Android
K-touch App, Kramer’s application for iOS/Android, allows AV installers to easily
integrate common touch devices as user interfaces in a Kramer-based, room
control system. Before you can use the application, as an initial requirement, you
need a Kramer Room Controller unit, with the appropriate configuration file, as well
as the design of the necessary set of dynamic application screens on the Kramer
K-touch screen builder.
After the dynamic application screens are ready, download the K-touch application
and then sync it with your screens on Kramer’s server and continue to configure
the IP properties of the selected controller.

2 System Overview and Workflow
Once a license has been allocated (K-touch Admin) and the controller configured
(K-touch Builder) you can download the application and then sync it to the selected
handset. The sync process will download the interface you created online in Ktouch Builder to your iOS or Android handset. Once the sync is complete, you can
move on to configuring gateways and attaching devices.
To download the application, search for Kramer K-touch on the relevant application
store and download the application that is suitable for your handset.
To Sync the configured control panel, do the following:
1. On the display, tap the K-touch app to open it.
2. The K-touch main screen opens:

3. Wait for the Settings screen to appear:

At this point, from the relevant K-touch Admin customer account,
one license will be deducted from the licenses allocated to this
project.
If an “Out of License Quota” appears this means that there are no
available licenses. In such a case, if you:
Are the relevant K-touch Admin user: you should allocate more
licenses on the K-touch admin to this project.
Do not have access to the K-touch Admin: contact the installer
who installed your system in order to purchase additional licenses.
4. Enter your Username and Password (as was allocated for the relevant
project on K-touch Admin).
5. Tap the Sync button to download the control screens onto your handset.
6. The device is now syncing with K-touch Builder.
7. Wait for the validation message to appear and click the Project ID number.
8. Tap the Project ID number and tap OK.
