We recommend that you:

3 Overview
The SPK-OC508 includes a pair of high performance speakers that can be mounted on the wall vertically or horizontally, and indoors as wel l as outdoors

To achieve the best performance:
. The mounting brackets are made of painted steel that can be
attached to each speaker, letting you rotate each speaker to the left or right.
Connect only good qual i ty connection cables, t hus avoidi ng
interference, deterioration in signal quality and level, and elevated noise- levels (often associated with low quality cables)
Avoid interference from neighboring electri cal appliance s and position your
Kramer SPK-OC508 away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust

5.1 Choosing the Best Location
Before installing the speakers:
Experiment by placing the speakers in different locations before finally
deciding on the m ost suita bl e locat i on
Be sure that the wal l type is appropriate for the mounti ng bracket s, t hat is,
either solid wood, bri cks, c oncr et e, holl ow buil di ng bl ocks, or wood studs
Check that the mounting location is free of obstructions, such as electrical
piping, AC ducts or water li nes, and so on

5.2 Installing the Speake r Wires
To install the speakers, do t he foll ow i ng:
1. Prepare the wires for the speakers:
Use the 4 meter 24AWG, black and whit e dual color wire cut to
similar lengths

Measure the length to reach from each speaker to the receiver, adding
some access wire length to let you easily remove the speakers from the bracket wit hout ha vi ng to disconnec t the i nput w i res
2. Strip the ends of the wires approximately 3/8 inch.
3. Pass the speaker wi res throug h t he r ound hole i n the mounti ng bra cke t.
4. Unscrew the negative (black) screw-type connector, insert the wire from the negative terminal on the receiver, and retighten.
5. Unscrew the positive (red) screw-type connector, insert the wi re from t he positive terminal on the receiver, and retighten.
6. Insert the brackets (see section
5.3
).
5.3 Installing the Mounting Bracket
To install the mount ing br acke t s, do the fol l ow ing:
1. Mark the location of the mounti ng hol es on t he w all .
2. Screw the mounting screws onto the wall at the location that you want to mount the speakers. If the location i s backed by wall st uds, you c an use the w ood screw s provided. If t he locat i on i s backed by a gypsum boar d, use wal l anchor s (not included in the pa cka ge).
3. Slide the mounting bracket over the mount ing scr ews so that the mounting bracke t is secured t o the surfa ce.
4. Slide a speaker into ea ch mount i ng brac ket .
5. Align the bracket screw holes (upper and l ower) to those on the speaker and screw a knob to each of the holes to secure the speaker to the bracket.
6. You can slightly loosen the knobs on a speake r t o adj ust i t s direct i on.

Except as below, this warranty covers all defects in material or workmanship in this product. The following are not covered by the warranty:
1. Any product which is not distributed by Kramer, or which is not purchased from an authorized Kramer dealer. If you are

2. Any product, on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed, or on which the WARRANTY VOID

1. To obtain service on you product, you must take or ship it prepaid to any authorized Kramer service center.
2. Whenever warranty service is required, the original dated invoice (or a copy) must be presented as proof of warranty
coverage, and should be included in any shipment of the product. Please also include in any mailing a contact name, company, address, and a description of the problem(s).
3. For the name of the nearest Kramer authorized service center, consult your authorized dealer.
All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the length of this warranty.

Servicing the machines can only be done by an authorized Kramer technician. Any user who makes changes or modifications to the unit without the expressed approval of the manufacturer will void user authority to operate the equipment.
