1 Introduction

Welcome to Kramer Electronics! Since 1981, Kramer Electronics has been

This equipment is to be used only inside a building. It may only be
connected to other equipment that is installed inside a building.

2 Getting Started

We recommend that you:

 Unpack the equipment carefully and save the original box and packaging

materials for possible future shipment

2.1 Achieving the Best Performance

To achieve the best performance:

 Do not secure the cables in tight bundles or roll the slack into tight coils

2.2 Recycling Kramer Products

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2002/96/EC aims
to reduce the amount of WEEE sent for disposal to landfill or incineration by
requiring it to be collected and recycled. To comply with the WEEE Directive,
Kramer Electronics has made arrangements with the European Advanced
Recycling Network (EARN) and will cover any costs of treatment, recycling and
recovery of waste Kramer Electronics branded equipment on arrival at the EARN

3 Overview

The Dolev Mounting Device is a side clamping loud speaker wall mount with tilt
and swivel that is designed for the Dolev speaker series and can hold a weight of
up to 25kg (55lbs).

The Mounting Device:

 Has an adjustable clamp size of 135mm (5.3”) - 280mm (11”)
 Features a +/- 7° tilt and 360° swivel
 Features invisible wall fixing screws
 Is simple to install and includes all the mounting hardware
 Is supplied in pairs

5 Installing the Mounting Device

This section explains how to install the Dolev Mounting Device.

 Attach the wall bracket to a concrete or stud wall (see Section 5.1)
 Slide the cover over the wall bracket (see Section 5.2)
 Attach the foam pads to the adjustment clamps (see Section 5.3)
 Attach the speaker platform to the wall bracket (see Section 5.4)
 Attach the speaker to the platform (see Section 5.5)
 Set the tilt (see Section 5.6)

5.3 Attach the Foam Pads to the Adjustment Clamps

Carefully peel off the protective film and stick the foam to the adjustment clamps
(see Figure 5):

5.4 Attach the Platform to the Wall Bracket

Figure 6 shows how to attach the speaker platform to the wall bracket:

Secure the Dolev Speakers using the M4x12 wood screws supplied with the
package (see Figure 8).

5.6 Set the Tilt

To adjust the tilt, loosen part 11 (M8 Nyloc nut) and move the speaker to the
desired angle and then retighten the nut and afterwards cover it, see Figure 9:
