IMPORTANT: Before using this kit, check that your machine has a
REMOTE IR 3.5mm mini jack installed on its rear panel.
The C-A35M/IRRN 3.5mm to IR Receiver Cable
Congratulations on purchasing your Kramer C-A35M/IRRN 3.5mm to IR Receiver Cable.
The C-A35M/IRRN is used to remotely control the machine.
The C-A35M/IRRN is available in two lengths:
The C-A35M/IRRN-3, 3’ (0.90m) long (Kramer P/N: 95-0104003)
The C-A35M/IRRN-50, 50’ (15.20m) long (Kramer P/N: 95-0104050)
The distance between the remote controller and the machine can be extended to up to 60 meters
using the optional Kramer Stereo cables, 15 meters each (Kramer P/N 95-0103050).
The External Remote IR Receiver connects to the 3.5mm mini jack on the rear panel of the machine.
Once connected, the Kramer machine can be controlled from a distance.

Note that once the C-A35M/IRRN is connected, the built-in front panel IR
receiver is disabled.
Installing the C-A35M/IRRN
1. Turn the machine off.
2. Connect the 3.5mm mini jack of the External Remote IR Receiver cable to the 3.5mm jack on
the rear panel.
3. Turn the machine on.
Electrical Check
To make sure that the cable is properly connected, point the remote control transmitter at the external
IR Receiver and press a few buttons to make sure that it works properly.
Every time you press the remote control buttons, the LED in the remote IR receiver and the LED in the
built-in IR receiver blink.
