The External Remote IR Receiver

Note, that once the external remote IR receiver is connected, the IR IN
built-in receiver is disabled.

The External Remote IR receiver is used to remotely control the machine and includes
a 0.9 meter (3 feet) External Remote IR Receiver cable (model C-A35M/IRR-03).

The distance between the remote controller and the machine can be extended by
using a 15 meter external IR receiver (model C-A35M/IRR-50), or by using the
optional Kramer Stereo cables, 15 meters (50 feet) each (model C-A35M/A35F-50).

The External Remote IR Receiver connects to the EXT. 3.5mm jack on the side
panel of the machine. Once connected, the Kramer machine can be controlled from a
distance.

Installing the External Remote IR Receiver

To connect the External Remote IR Receiver, do the following:

1. Disconnect the power to the device.

2. Connect the 3.5mm plug of the External Remote IR Receiver cable to the EXT.

3.5mm jack.

3. Connect the power to the device.
