Alarm Transmitter - Synthesized
The ATS100 and ATSU100 units are a new generation of advanced, high performance, radio alarm transmitters designed to complement KP's LARS long range radio alarm systems. Manufactured using the latest SMD technology, the ATS units are synthesized for both VHF and UHF frequencies.
The ATS100 unit transmits periodic test signals verifying its status and alerting the Central Monitoring Station of any service problems. Low batteries, for example, can now be detected and replaced before discharging, ensuring constant security monitoring and efficient maintenance.
Parallel Systems for Increased Security
Full zone and panel information can be sent via the ATS100 by either connecting to KPs innovate DI100 Dialer Interface or connecting directly to a number of industry-standard alarm panels. Messages are then sent via radio transmission and Line Receiver ensuring complete primary/ secondary security backup.
Important Features

Innovations For Installers:
Alarm Panel Interface
To ensure a fully redundant alarm monitoring system, KP's LARS network operates simultaneously with phone line receivers in a primary/secondary configuration. Alarm messages are sent using KPs innovative DI100, a dialer interface that communicates full zone and panel information from any alarm panel via KPs radio transmitters. Messages are sent without interfering with phone line connections guaranteeing radio and line receivers work independently, and that alarm and system messages are sent at the same time.
Field Programmer Unit
Using KP's handy, pocket-sized FTU100 field programmer, parameters within KP's radio units are viewed and changed on-site. Unit address, input polarity and periodic test timing are quickly and effortlessly updated.
Signal Strength Monitor
The FTU101 measures and displays signal strength of KP's ATS100 transmissions to repeaters or central stations. An invaluable tool for expanding radio networks while in the field.
PC Utility Software
The user friendly GUP5000 software for Windows enables on-site programming of all key ATS100 parameters. The software is designed for programming frequency and message repetitions and incorporates a user password feature ensuring authorized access.
