Important safeguard
When using this kettle, basic safety precautions must always be followed
1. Carefully read all the instructions before operating and retain for future reference.
2. This appliance is for normal household use only.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4. If the supply cord is found damage, it must be replaced by Koryo authorized service center in order to avoid any hazard.
5. Check the voltage of the power socket to ensure that it is in accordance with the rated voltage of this electric kettle.
6. Use the kettle with supplied power base unit only.
7. Do not leave the kettle unattended while in operation.
8. Do not let power cord hung over the edge of a table or counter, or touch any hot surface to avoid a hazard.
9. Do not place the kettle near a gas outlet, electric burner, or heated oven.
10. Do not fill the water beyond the maximum water level.
11. To protect against risk of electric shock, fire or personal injury, do not immerse into the water.
12. Must remove the kettle from the base when pouring, filling and cleaning.
13. Always use a reliable earthed power supply to operate the appliance.
14. Please shut off the power and take out the plug from socket if kettle is not in use or before storing.

1. Position the power base on a stable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
Unwind the power cord from the cord storage area located beneath the power base. Make sure the cord exits through the cord exit slot on the side of the power base.
2. Check that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
3. Remove the kettle from the power base. Open the lid. Fill
in with fresh, cold water to the desired level. Add water to at least the MIN water level; do not fill above the MAX water level. Wipe excess water off the kettle.(Fig.1)
CAUTION: Never add water above the MAX water level.
This could cause boiling water to splatter out.
4. Check to be sure that you have closed the lid properly,
otherwise the kettle may not turn OFF automatically after boiling.
CAUTION: To avoid the risk of splashing while pouring
hot water; make sure the lid is securely closed onto the kettle before operation.
5. Place the kettle on the power base, taking care not to
spill any water.(Fig.2)
Before using for the first time
1. Boil water in this electric kettle twice following the Operating Instructions
described in this Instruction Manual.
2. Discard the boiled water. Your kettle is now ready for use.

8. Grasp the handle and carefully lift the kettle from the power base before
pouring.
CAUTION: Always check that the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position
before removing it from the power base.
CAUTION: To avoid a risk of splashing, make sure the lid is securely closed
onto the kettle before operating. Pour slowly and be careful not over-tilt the kettle.
CAUTION: Do not touch hot surfaces.
9. To reheat, check the water level to ensure it is above the MIN water level.
If necessary; add more water before returning the kettle to the power base.
10. Allow at least 30 seconds before pressing the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position.
11. When not in use unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Allow the unit
to cool completely before cleaning. Empty the kettle after each use. Do not allow water to sit in the kettle overnight.

6. Plug the power cord into electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF
switch down to the ON position. The indicator light will illuminate. Water will begin heating immediately.(Fig.3)
7. When a rolling boil is reached, the lighted button will then
turn off; the ON/OFF switch will lift (up) automatically and the kettle will turn OFF. (Fig.4 & Fig.5)
NOTE: The kettle can be turned OFF any time during the heating process
by lifting the ON/OFF switch up.
WARNING: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use.
Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, fires, or other injury to persons or damage to Property, Keep hands and face away from the area above the kettle.

Storing instructions
CAUTION: Always unplug kettle and allow to cool before cleaning. Never immerse power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids. Don’t use scouring pads or harsh cleansers to clean your kettle as they may damage the surface.
1. Make sure the kettle is unplugged and completely cool.
2. Grasp the handle and remove the kettle from the power base.
If necessary, wipe the inside and outside of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth and wipe dry.
3. Wipe the power base with a damp cloth.
4. Make sure both the power base and kettle are completely dry after cleaning
and before use.
NOTE: Mineral deposits can form a scale coating inside the kettle and may cause an off flavor in the water or lengthen the boiling time.
1. Several de-scalers are available. Follow the instructions provided.
2. As an alternative, use the white vinegar cleaning method:
• In a spouted bowl, prepare a de-scaling solution of 3 cups white vinegar
and 2 cups cool, clean water and pour into kettle. Do not boil the solution, as it may damage the kettle.
• Allow the solution to soak in the kettle overnight.
• Discard the cleaning solution. Fill the kettle with cool, clean water; boil,
discard, and rinse thoroughly.
• Repeat this procedure few times until the vinegar odor is gone.
3. Use a damp cloth to remove any stains remaining inside the kettle.
1. Make sure unit is unplugged and completely cool before storing.
WARNING: Never store the electric kettle while it is hot or still plugged in.
2. Wrap the power cord around the cord storage area under the power base
to store. Store kettle with lid securely in place.
3. Store the kettle in its box, in a clean, dry area.

The user is responsible for disposing this kind of waste by throwing them away at a "recycling point" specifically for electrical and electronic waste. Selective collection and electrical equipment recycling contribute to preserve natural resources and warrant waste recycling to protect environment and health.
For the purpose of recycling to facilitate effective utilization of resources, please return this product to a nearby authorized collection center, registered dismantler, recycler, service center when disposing of this product.

This product comes with a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase as specified on the warranty card.
This is against all defective material or workmanship. In the event of a defect, Future Retail Limited or KORYO Authorized Service Centre undertakes to repair the set, free of charge, during the warranty period.
In the event of a defect developing in the product, contact KORYO Customer Care or KORYO Authorized Service Centre and provide information about the defect, the model number and serial number of the product.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF
1. The completely filled warranty card or invoice is not presented to the
authorised personnel at the time of servicing of the product.
2. The product is not operated according to the instructions given in the
user manual.
3. Defects are caused by improper or reckless use.
4. Modifications or alterations have been made to the product or if the
product has been tampered with, in any manner whatsoever.
5. Repairs to the product are carried out by anyone other than an
authorised company representative.
6. For defects other than faulty parts or workmanship such as damage
due to lightning, abnormal voltage, spillages, dust, accidental damage, etc.
7. The serial number is deleted or altered.
8. Used for any non–domestic purpose.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Repairs or replacement will be carried out either by a Future Retail
Limited authorised customer care centre of Koryo or by any authorized representative of Koryo.
2. All expenses incurred in dropping and collecting the unit(s) or part(s)
thereof from the Customer Service Centre, as well as any other expenses and incidentals will be borne by the customer.

3. Whilst the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the
earliest, it is made expressly clear that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
4. The company or its authorised customer centre reserves the right to
retain any part(s) or component(s) replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during the warranty
5. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase from our
authorised dealers / stores only.
6. The warranty shall not apply on breakage or/and damage of
Ceramic Body Parts, Plastic Parts, Plastic Body, Handles, Coupler, Blade, Lid, Bezel, Mount, Stand.
7. Parts Repairs or Replaced under this warranty are warranted only
for the remainder of original warranty period, i.e., no fresh warranty period shall commence for the said replaced/repaired part.
8. This product carries a Bring-In warranty, which means that the
customer needs to carry the unit to the near-by Koryo authorized service center for further repair.
9. Please contact Koryo customer care to know the details of Koryo
authorized service centers.
10. The decision of company is final and binding on all matters out of
this warranty.
11. Any dispute arising out of this warranty shall be subject to Mumbai
jurisdiction only. Any notices to be given to the provision of this warranty shall be marked to the address mentioned in the booklet.
