SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using this electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce
the risk of re, electric shock and personal injury,

• is fan is intended for commercial & industrial use. Do not use this Fan for anything
other than its intended use. Misuse may cause injury.
• Ensure that fan is placed on a dry and stable surface . Do not use with wet hands.
• Always operate the appliance from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and
rating as indicated on the product identication plate. e installation of a current safety
switch is recommended to provide additional protection
• Position the power supply lead correctly so that it will not be walked on or pinched by
items placed on or against them.
• Any type of servicing, apart from ordinary cleaning, must be carried out by an authorized
service center or qualied dealer.
• DO NOT use this unit to exhaust air from a conned space.
• DO NOT use appliance if it has been dropped or any part of appliance (including cord or
plug) has been damaged. Take appliance to your nearest authorized service center or
qualied dealer for inspection or repair.
• DO NOT place or operate ANY exhauster/blower inside a tank or conned area that
contains, or did contain, any volatile fumes, gases or liquids. A re and/or explosion can still
occur.
• DO NOT locate in a corrosive atmosphere, or where the temperature will exceed 40°C.
• DO NOT exhaust any air, gas or fumes which can exceed 65C.
• Do NOT operate in the presence of explosives and/or ammable fumes or liquids.
• DO NOT use this unit to exhaust air from a conned space. is can cause death by
asphyxiation
• DO NOT misuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or pull to disconnect it
from the outlet. Instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
• DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings as this may cause
damage to the appliance and/or injury to the user.
• DO NOT use without the grills are not securely tted.
• No liability can be accepted for any damage caused by non-compliance with these
instructions or any other improper use or mishandling of appliance.

OPERATION
Warning: Ensure the ON/OFF switch (3) is in the o position prior to plugging the unit into your
power outlet.
1. To turn the axial ow fan ON push the ON/OFF switch across as shown in (Fig 1.)
2. To Turn the axial ow fan OFF push the ON/OFF switch (3) as shown in (Fig 2.)
Removing Contaminated Air:
An optional ventilation duct may be required for this type of application.
Note ! When a ventilation duct is tted the airow will be reduced by about 5-15 CFM for every
additional meter of ducting hose tted.
(Ventilation duct can be purchased as an optional accessory).
If the axial ow fan is be used to exhaust contaminated such as welding fumes, the contaminated
air should be ducted outside of your work area or building. e axial ow is best located as close as
possible to both the source of the contaminated air and the outside of the building.
Note: If using an 90° elbow to change the air ow direction, the airow will be reduced by
approximately 15-20 CFM.
