KL-P103 satellite positioning system combines with anti-theft, positioning, listen-in, monitoring, tracking, emergency help, vehicle scheduling, image capture and platform software management etc.functions. With the full-featured characteristics, it widely applies to vehicles and other mobile object location and tracking services, large-scale cluster monitoring, emergency scheduling, traffic safety management and many other fields.

2.2 SIM card installation
A. Take off the rear cover of main device by screwdriver B. Install the SIM card as below steps.

C. Connect external power supply and turn on the backup battery after installing the SIM card.
Note:
a. Make sure the SIM card can make phone call, receive & sending SMS. b. Make sure the SIM card with enough money and can access to GPRS internet function.

c. The SIM card must support voice call function if need listen in the voice at site. d. Make sure to insert and take off SIM card in power off status, or it is easy to burn the SIM card
and device. Please install the SIM card first before turn on the backup battery or connect the external power, and take off the SIM card after turn off the backup battery and external power.
2.3 103A6A/103B6B Installation wiring diagram
a. Insert 103 A6A connector into 103B6B 6PIN cable socket first.
b. The white socket of 103B6B with total 6 wires. Except for the two cables for emergency button, there are another 4 cables , red, black, white and Yellow. Please connect the red wire (+) and black wire (-) with the car battery (the main power); Connect white wire with ACC for checking ACC status, on or off. The yellow wire with the Circuit Breaker for Oil cut off /power off) c. Please install the emergency button in hiden place but convenience for driver to operate. Make sure no any objects press the button, or it will always send emergency alert to monitoring center. d. Please make sure to connect the trackers with vehicle main power (car battery) correctly and turn on the tracker backup battery to avoid the tracker no power and can not know the vehicle status.
2.4 The Circuit breaker(relay) wiring connection.
The relay with four wires, two green(signal wire), white(+) and yellow(-). The yellow wire connects with B6B yellow wire The two green wire and white wire connect with Engine as below.

wire(currect passing direction), and connect the other green wire with the other end.
2.5 103A3A installation diagram
103A3A with three wires, red (+), green(-), orange(signal wire). The green and red are user self-definiton alarm trigger wires, the green for user-defined 1 trigger alarm(anode trigger), the red for user-defined 2 trigger alarm(cathode trigger).
User can install the two wire for detecting illegal door/cover open if need to monitor the car door, engine cover, car trunk, taximeter etc.User need add wired door contact (NO) additionally if the door or cover without contact switch. The below is the wiring diagram about how to connect wired door contact with 103A3A green or red wire.
Note: The 103A3A can also use for tracker updating
2.6 103A4A and camera installation.
The 103A4A is a serial port with 4Pin cables that can connect camera. Factory will provide user a additional cable with connector each end. One end connects with 103A4A, the other end connect with camera. Please choose the correct installation location of camera according to actual application and different vehicle types.
3.6 GPS/GSM antenna installing
.
Note:
1. Prolong the GSM antenna as possilbe as you can.
2. Don’t install the GPS antenna close to the objects which generate strong signal interference, such as radio, car circuit, speaker, air-conditioning etc.
3. Install the GPS antenna in a hidden place. The black side of GPS antenna must face up and no metal

shielding material cover it within 60 degree range. Please don’t leave after installation until the GPS fleet management platform can receive location datas normally and stably for 5 minutes at least. The below is suggested GPS antenna installation locatation
Operation
3.1 Quick guidline of operation
a. Install SIM card following 3.2 guid above, then connect external power 12V. b. Set GPS tracker by SMS or software, such as IP, Port, and APN etc. so that trackes can link with software via GPRS. c. Add the GPS tracker into the software as per software manual, then check whether the tracker is online.
If the tracker online, that means all the set is correct and tracker is OK.
d. Install the tracker in the vehicle as per installation instruction. e. After installation, please check whether the tracker is online, whether download and update the GPS
data normally.
f. Manage all the added GPS trackers via software. About software operation, please read software fleet
platform management manual.
User can set, modify the parameter of GPS tracker and inquiry its status via SMS or software as below.

a. SET SERVER IP AND PORT
GPS trackers(GPRS version) transmit the data into internet through fixed path, IP and port so that trackers can link with software fleet management platform. User can set and modify the IP and port via above No.1 SMS format: AS1234IPPO:IP;PORT;;;#
Please note “119.147.23.108;7777;;;” is factory default IP and port. User needn’t modify it if use our side server, but If use themselves server, please send the command to modify to be your local server IP and port.
b. Set terminal ID
There is a ID (S/N number) label at the side of tracker main unit and packaging box. User need input the ID when add trackers into software. Factory has programmed the ID into device in advance. General speaking, please not modify it if no special request.
c. Set APN APN means Access Point Name. It is a necessary setting for GPRS to link with internet and transmit
GPS data to server. Due to different countries and districts, there are different APN for GPRS to LOG IN from different networks server agent. Please consult your local provider for correct APN gateway, network logon username and password, then edit three SMS(following NO. 3, 4, 5 SMS format ) and send to trackers separately so as to make them get through with server.
Example: China mobile APN is CMNET, user name is user, password is gprs, edit three message as
below. AS1234APN:CMNET# AS1234USER:USER# AS1234GPRSPASS:GPRS#
d Device Status Enquiry User can send command of AS1234STATE# to enquiry the tracker status, which is convenience for users to check whether the device ID, IP etc is correct or not. If any of them is incorrect, please amend them following relevant commands.IV
3.3 Platform operation(GPRS mode)
3.3.1 Modify IP/Port remotely
Tracker’s IP and port number can be changed via fleet management platform according to user’needs.
Note: Please not modify it if use our side server because the relevant parameter has been set before shipment.

3.3.2 Modify APN
APN means Access Point Name. It is a necessary setting for GPRS to link with internet and transmit GPS data to server. Due to different countries and districts, there are different APN for GPRS to LOG IN from different networks server agent. Please consult your local provider for correct APN gateway, network logon username and password, then issue commands to modify them via software.
3.3.3 Remotely modify password
For safe, please change trackers password timely by platform after the trackers work normally.
3.3.4 Remotely restart tracker device
User can issue restart command to reboot the device via monitoring platform when certain trackers work anormally.
3.3.5 Remotely check the version No. of terminal device
Monitoring center can inquiry the trackers’ version remotely including terminal device ID, VER, IP, communication mode etc, which is convenient for technician to follow up the after sales service and product upgrade in future.
3.3.6 Real-time positioning
Monitoring center can directly locate the specified vehicle via positioning call. The trackers will

immediately return vehicle location data in details to the center monitoring platform. Location information mainly include: time, longitude, latitude, speed, direction, address, GPS/GSM/ACC state, alarm etc.
3.3.7 Data upload by time interval.
Monitoring center can set the interval time of tracker uploading data to center. Factory defaults is 30 seconds, adjustable range is 5-65535 seconds.
3.3.8 Upload by distance interval
GPS data can be uploaded to monitoring center according to designated interval distance. That is linear distance which is caculated by longitude and langitue. The factory default is 30meters, adjustable range is 30 to 255m..
3.3.9 Mileage statistics
The GPS tracker can caculate the driving mileage and report to center management platform automaticlly. Monitoring center can enquiry, save and delete the mileage statistical data as per actual application. The statistical value is "<16000km".
3.3.10 Listen in
Monitor center can set the monitor callback number, then send “listen in” comand to tracker. The tracker will automally call back to the presetlisten in” phone number for workers monitoring what happened in the car. Note: Requres the SIM card enable callling function.

3.3.11 Cut/recover the oil circuit
Monitoring center can issue command to trackers to break the vehilce oil/power or restore it. To protect traffic and personnel safety, the oil will be cut by three times of oil off action, which is off for one second, then restore for 15 seconds repeatly. The oil is cut completely until the forth times. The oil cut will be record in the server automaticlly.
3.3.12 Blind data memory and re-uploading
If a vehicle is driving in the no GPRS signal area or short-term network congestion, the tracker installed in the vehcile will automatically save the current driving location data(5000 points). The stored data will be uploaded to center timely upon receiving GPRS signal.
3.3.13 Standby sleeping mode(optional)
When tracker detects ACC is off and no any alarm for 20 minutes, it will enter into standby sleeping mode automatically. The standby mode is mainly reflected in: Turn off the GPS module power supply and out of GPRS mode temporarily (Keep SMS mode). In this mode, the GPRS transmission and data updating slow down in order to saving the GPRS flow capacity. The interval time of data transmission is changed to be about once an hour.
The trackers will automatically withdraw the standby sleeping mode when the ACC is on or any alarm is happened. Users can also wake up the trackers compulsively by sending SMS command “AS1234SLEEP:#”; Sending SMS command “AS1234WAKEUP:0###” can disable the standby sleeping function. Note: Factory default: enable the standyby sleeping mode.
III Accessories
3.3.14 Image capture
User can set auto photo taking by taximeter, illegal door open or SOS trigger as well as issue command to request picture via platform software. With the camera monitor, the situation of the car will be photographed when the function is triggered. It can effectively monitor driver and passengers, prevent driver from smokeing, answering phone, over loading etc. It also provide proof and clues for police to pursue the crime suspect.

3.3.15 Overspeed alarm
Overspeed alarm refers to the device in accordance with preset speed premitted value to constantly monitor the vehicle speed, and make an alarm to center when vehicle speed exceeds preset allowable value. The alarm is cancelled automatically when speed drop to be preset allowable value. Driving speed alarm set value in the 0-255 (km) range.
3.3.16 Enter/exit the G-fence alarm
Enter or exit G-fence alarm refer to the device to monitor the vehicle movement position in real time as per preset region value that prohibit vehicle enter or leave. When the vehicle mobile latitude and longitude value exceeds a user preset area value, the enter or exit G-fence alert data is reported to monitoring center. The alarm is cancelled while vehicle return to the preset allowable value.The Max G-fence quantity user can draw is 25, no limit to G-fence area.
3.3.16 Parking overtime alarm
User can set the allowable time value of ACC off to limit the vehicle parking time. The tracker will report parking overtime alarm to monitoring center immediatley when the parking time exceeds the preset allowable value. User can confirm or cancel the alarm by themselves.

3.3.17 Fatigue drving alarm
Fatigue driving alarm is also known as overtime driving warning. User can set an allowable time value of countinuous driving. When the dirving time exceeds the preset premitted value, the device send fatigue driving alarm to center immedialtely, which can control driving time and reduce the traffice accident caused due to continous overtime fatigue driving effectively.
3.3.18 User-defined trigger alarm
Users can install the two self-defined trigger alarm wire of 103A3A according to 2.5 103A3A installation diagram, and define the alarm content by themselves such as illegal door open, robbery alarm etc. Usually,
the user-defined alarm is combined with the function of camera photo taking. User can install the self-defined wire with car door, SOS button and taximeter etc, and set cameras to take pictures immedialy upon illegal door open, SOS button triggered or Taxi driver metering.
3.3.19 Emergency alarm
Please press 2 seconds on emergency button to trigger an SOS alarm for help when there is an emergency. The terminal device immediately uploads emergency alarm to monitoring center. Please take action to deal with the alarm quickly.
3.3.20 Main power off alarm
The terminal device will issue a power off warning in 3 seconds when the main power supply was cut off, at the same time start the backup battery (can last around 2 to 4hours), again automatically detect whether cancel the alarm after 30secounds. Center could confirm or cancel the alarm after alert received. The voltage detecting value of power off alarm <DC 7V
3.3.21 Main power undervoltage alarm
The terminal device will issue undervoltage warning immediately to monitoring center while the main power suplly is undervoltage, at same time start the backup up battery(can last around 2 to 4hours). It will auto-check whether cancel the alarm or not 30s later. The undervoltage detecting value <DC9V.
3.3.22 GPS antenna failure alarm
The tracking device will report the GPS antenna failure alarm to monitoring center immediately when the GPS antenna is damaged,
3.3.23 Illegal ignition warning
User can set a time range that not premitted to start engine via montoring center. If the driver start engine within the prohibited time, the tracking device will report illegal ignition warning data to center. Monitoring center can confirm or cancel the alarm as well as disable the function.
