Remote control description: The appearance of your remote control may differ depending
on the model. The difference will be in the 2nd and/or 3rd row. The remote control is
always suitable for your TV, but can also be suitable for multiple devices (2, 4 or
8 devices).

A. How to Enter Codes

1. Switch on the home appliance you wish to control and look up the first set of codes
of the home appliance in the code chart. For example: if you wish to insert the code
a PHILIPS TV set, the first set of code shall be 1492.

2. Press the “TV” button and the indicator light will light up.

3. Press and hold the “Volume+” and “Channel+” buttons at the same time until the
indicator is switched on. Then release both buttons (the indicator light will switch off
and then on again).

4. Enter the 4-digit code. For example: the first set of codes for a PHILIPS TV set is

1492. Enter 1492.
Note:
I. The code entered is correct. The indicator light will flash twice before switching

off.

II. The code entered is incorrect. The indicator light will flash three times. Please

re-enter the code.

III. To exit the setting function, press the “Select Equipment Button”. For example:

Press the TV button if the previous setting is TV.

5. After entering in the code, the indicator light will switch off.

6. Check if the other buttons operate correctly. If this is the case, the setting was
successful. If the buttons do not function correctly, please repeat steps 2 to 6 until
you have found the right code.

NOTE: If you install a satellite receiver, follow the same procedure as mentioned above
under A, but instead of pressing the “TV” button press the “SAT” button and in the code list
search for the right code for the satellite receiver.

B. How to Search for Codes Automatically

1. Switch on the home appliance you wish to control. Place the remote control directly
at the home appliance, for example your TV.

2. Press and hold the “TV” button; the indicator light will light up.

3. Press and hold the “Volume+” and “Channel+” buttons at the same time until the
indicator light lights up. Then release both buttons (the indicator light will switch off
and then on again).

4. Press and hold the “POWER” button until the TV set is switched off. Release the
“POWER” button immediately.

5. Check if the other buttons operate correctly. If this is the case, the setting was
successful. If the buttons do not function correctly, please repeat steps 2 to 5 until
you have found the right code.

NOTE: If you install a satellite receiver, please follow the same procedure as mentioned
above under B, but instead of pressing the “TV” button you should press the “SAT” button.

Setting Favourite Channel

Use this function to set your favourite channels in “Favourite Channel”.

Setting Method:

1. Press the “TV” button and select the equipment you want to set.
Press and hold the “Volume+” and “Channel+” buttons at the same time until the
indicator is switched on. Then release both buttons (the indicator light will switch off
and then on again).
Enter code 9993 manually. The indicator light lights up to indicate that the FAV setting
is in start-up mode.

2. Enter the channel number of your favourite channel. Press the “Power” button to enter
one channel number. Then enter the next channel number. Press the “TV” button after
you have entered all the favourite channels. The indicator light switches off. The
setting is completed. (The memory space is full when the indicator light flashes 5 times.
No channel number can be entered anymore).
For example: Under the TV page you wish to enter channels (02), (38) and (56) as
your favourite channels. Enter the code 9993 manually before entering the channel
number one by one.

When the indicator light is switched off, the settings are completed.

3. In normal mode, press the “FAV” button with the remote control pointing at the TV set.
You can find your favourite channel in the order of settings. Press the “FAV” button and
your next favourite channel in the setting list will appear.

Clear Favourite Channel

Settin Method:

1. When setting the “FAV” channel, you can press the “FAV” button to clear the wrong
channel entered or re-set the settings. Press the “FAV” button once to clear an
undesired channel (one-button command). When a “Favourite Channel” is cleared, the
indicator light will flash three times.

2. To clear all favourite channels: Under the “Favourite channel” setting mode, press and
release the “FAV” button until the indicator light flashes three times. This indicates that
the information in the setting is completely cleared. Press the TV button to exit.

Multi-Function Button Setting

There are two multi-function buttons on the remote control: M1 and M2. Each
multi-function button can store data for 20 buttons. You can use this function to combine
the functions of a series of different buttons or commonly pressed buttons into one single
button. After the setting has been completed, press the multi-function button that was
previously set. The remote control will emit the control codes of the buttons that were
previously set in the correct order. This simplifies operation.
For example: Switch on the power of the TV set and switch to TV/AV.

1. Press the “TV” button. Select the home appliance that you wish to set.

2. Press and hold the “Volume+” and “Channel+” buttons at the same time until the
indicator is switched on. Then release both buttons (the indicator light will switch off
and then on again).
Enter code 9991 manually. The indicator light will light up to indicate the start-up of M1
setting. (9992 is the corresponding code for M2 setting).

3. Press the “POWER” button to indicate that TV power data has been entered into M1.
Press the TV/AV button to add another set of codes (every time you press a button, the
indicator light will flash once).

4. Press the “TV” button. The indicator light switches off. Exit settings.

NOTE: After exiting the multi-function settings, the remote control will revert to the
pre-multi-function setting mode. The remote control will have no connection with the home
appliances selected. Point the remote control at the TV set and press the “M1” button (for
all kinds of home appliances). The remote control will emit data code in this order:
“TV power” “AV/TV”

Clear Multi-Function Button
Setting Method:

1. Under the multi-function setting mode, press the corresponding M1/M2 button. This
eliminates a command button. After the multi-function button data is cleared, the
indicator light will flash three times.

2. To completely clear the multi-function button: Under the multi-function setting mode
press and release the multi-function button “M1/M2” until the indicator light flashes
three times. This shows that all functions have been cleared. Press any button to exit.

A. Codes eingeben

1. Schalten Sie zunächst das Gerät ein, das Sie steuern möchten und finden Sie die
ersten Ziffern des Codes für das Gerät in der Codeliste. Beispiel: Möchten Sie den
Code für einen PHILIPS TV eingeben, so sind die ersten Ziffern des Codes 1492.

2. Drücken Sie „TV“, die Anzeige leuchtet auf.

3. Halten Sie die Tasten „Lautstärke+“ und „Programm+“ gleichzeitig gedrückt, bis die
Anzeige leuchtet. Lassen Sie nun beide Tasten los (die Anzeige erlischt und
leuchtet wieder auf).

4. Geben Sie den 4-stelligen Code ein. Beispiel: Die ersten Ziffern des Codes für
einen PHILIPS TV sind 1492. Geben Sie 1492 ein.
Hinweis:
I. Der eingegebene Code ist korrekt. Die Anzeige blinkt zweimal und erlischt

dann.

II. Der eingegebene Code ist falsch. Die Anzeige blinkt dreimal. Bitte geben Sie

den Code neu ein.

III. Zum Verlassen der Einstellfunktion drücken Sie die „Gerätetaste“. Zum Beispiel:

Drücken Sie TV, wenn die vorherige Einstellung dem Fernseher galt.

5. Nach der Eingabe des Codes erlischt die Anzeige.

6. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die anderen Tasten korrekt funktionieren. Ist das der
Fall, so war die Einstellung erfolgreich. Funktionieren die Tasten nicht korrekt, so
wiederholen Sie die Schritte 2 bis 6, bis Sie den richtigen Code gefunden haben.

HINWEIS: Zur Programmierung eines Satellitenempfängers folgen Sie der gleichen
Vorgehensweise wie oben unter A, jedoch drücken Sie anstatt der Taste „TV“ die Taste
„SAT“ und suchen Sie den richtigen Code in der Liste für Satellitenempfänger.

B. Automatische Codesuche

1. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, das Sie steuern möchten. Halten Sie die
Fernbedienung direkt vor das Gerät, beispielsweise den Fernseher.

2. Halten Sie „TV“ gedrückt, die Anzeige leuchtet auf.

3. Halten Sie „Lautstärke+“ und „Programm+“ gleichzeitig gedrückt, bis die Anzeige
aufleuchtet. Lassen Sie nun beide Tasten los (die Anzeige erlischt und leuchtet
wieder auf).

4. Halten Sie „POWER“ gedrückt, bis sich der Fernseher ausschaltet. Lassen Sie
„POWER“ wieder los.

5. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die anderen Tasten korrekt funktionieren. Ist das der
Fall, so war die Einstellung erfolgreich. Funktionieren die Tasten nicht korrekt, so
wiederholen Sie die Schritte 2 bis 5, bis Sie den richtigen Code gefunden haben.

HINWEIS: Zur Programmierung eines Satellitenempfängers folgen Sie der gleichen
Vorgehensweise wie oben unter B, jedoch drücken Sie anstatt der Taste „TV“ die Taste
„SAT“.

Programmplatz als Favoriten programmieren

Mit dieser Funktion stellen Sie Ihre Lieblingsprogramme unter „Favoriten“ ein.

Einstellung:

1. Drücken Sie „TV“ und wählen Sie das einzustellende Gerät.
Halten Sie die Tasten „Lautstärke+“ und „Programm+“ gleichzeitig gedrückt, bis die
Anzeige leuchtet. Lassen Sie nun beide Tasten los (die Anzeige erlischt und leuchtet
wieder auf).
Geben Sie den Code 9993 manuell ein. Die Anzeige leuchtet auf und die
FAV-Einstellung kann beginnen.

2. Geben Sie die Programmnummer Ihres Favoritensenders ein. Drücken Sie
„Power“ zur Eingabe einer Programmnummer. Dann geben Sie die nächste
Programmnummer ein. Drücken Sie „TV“, nachdem Sie alle Favoriten eingegeben
haben. Die Anzeige erlischt. Die Einstellung ist beendet. (der Speicher ist voll, wenn
die Anzeige 5 Mal blinkt; Es kann nun keine weitere Programmnummer eingegeben
werden).
Zum Beispiel: Auf der TV-Seite möchten Sie die Programmplätze (02), (38) und (56)
als Ihre Favoritenprogramme eingeben. Geben Sie den Code 9993 manuell ein, bevor
Sie die Programmnummern einzeln eingeben.

Nachdem die Anzeige erlischt, ist die Einstellung beendet.

3. Drücken Sie im Normalmodus „FAV“, mit der Fernbedienung auf den Fernseher
ausgerichtet. Ihre Favoritenprogramme werden in der Reihenfolge der Einstellung
angezeigt. Drücken Sie die „FAV“ Taste und Ihr nächstes Favoritenprogramm in der
Liste erscheint.

Favoritenprogramm löschen

Einstellung:

1. Bei der „FAV“ Programmierung können Sie die Taste „FAV“ drücken, um einen falsch
eingegebenen Programmplatz zu löschen oder die Einstellungen zurückzusetzen.
Drücken Sie einmal „FAV“, um den gewünschten Programmplatz zu löschen
(1-Tasten-Befehl). Nach dem Löschen eines Favoritenkanals blinkt die Anzeige
dreimal.

2. Alle Favoritenkanäle löschen: Im Modus für die „FAV“ Programmierung halten Sie die
Taste „FAV“ gedrückt , bis die Anzeige dreimal blinkt. Dies zeigt an, dass die
Informationen zur Einstellung vollständig gelöscht sind. Drücken Sie „TV“, um die
Funktion zu verlassen.

Multifunktionstaste einstellen

Ihre Fernbedienung hat zwei Multifunktionstasten: M1 und M2. Jede Multifunktionstaste
kann Daten für bis zu 20 Tasten speichern. Mit dieser Funktion können Sie die Funktion
einer Reihe unterschiedlicher Tasten kombinieren. Nach erfolgter Einstellung drücken Sie
die eingestellte Multifunktionstaste. Die Fernbedienung sendet die Steuercodes in der
zuvor programmierten Reihenfolge. Dies vereinfacht die Bedienung.
Zum Beispiel: Schalten Sie Ihren Fernseher ein und schalten Sie auf TV/AV.

2. Halten Sie die Tasten „Lautstärke+“ und „Programm+“ gleichzeitig gedrückt, bis die
Anzeige leuchtet. Lassen Sie nun beide Tasten los (die Anzeige erlischt und leuchtet
wieder auf).
Geben Sie den Code 9991 manuell ein. Die Anzeige leuchtet auf, M1 kann nun
eingestellt werden. (9992 ist der entsprechende Code für M2).

3. Drücken Sie „POWER“ zur Anzeige, dass die TV-Einschaltdaten in M1 eingegeben
wurden. Drücken Sie TV/AV, um einen anderen Code hinzuzufügen (mit jedem
Tastendruck blinkt die Anzeige einmal auf).

4. Drücken Sie „TV“. Die Anzeige erlischt. Die Einstellung ist beendet.

HINWEIS: Nach dem Verlassen der Multifunktionseinstellungen begibt sich die
Fernbedienung in den vorherigen Einstellmodus zurück. Die Fernbedienung ist nicht mit
dem gewählten Gerät verbunden. Richten Sie die Fernbedienung auf den Fernseher aus
und drücken Sie „M1“ (für alle Geräte). Die Fernbedienung überträgt den Datencode in
folgender Reihenfolge:
„TV-Einschaltung“ „AV/TV“

Multifunktionstaste löschen
Einstellung:

1. Drücken Sie im Multifunktions-Einstellmodus die entsprechende Taste „M1“ oder „M2“.
Hiermit wird der Befehl gelöscht. Nach dem Löschen der Multifunktionstaste blinkt die
Anzeige dreimal.

2. Multifunktionstaste vollständig löschen: Drücken Sie im Multifunktions-Einstellmodus
die entsprechende Taste „M1“ oder „M2“, bis die Anzeige dreimal blinkt. Hiermit wird
angezeigt, dass alle Funktionen gelöscht wurden. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste
zum Verlassen der Funktion.

Wartung:

Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem trockenen Tuch.
Keine Reinigungs- oder Scheuermittel verwenden.

« Power » pour entrer un numéro de chaîne. Puis entrez le numéro de chaîne suivant.
Appuyez sur le bouton « TV » après avoir entré toutes vos chaînes préférées.
L'indicateur lumineux s'éteint. Le réglage est terminé. (L'espace de mémoire est plein
quand l'indicateur lumineux clignote 5 fois. Plus aucun numéro de chaîne ne peut être
entré).
Par exemple : Sous la page TV, vous souhaitez entrer les chaînes (02), (38) et (56)
comme chaînes préférées. Entrez manuellement le code 9993 avant d'entrer, un par
un, les numéros de chaîne.

Effacer des chaînes préférées

Méthode de réglage :

1. Lors du réglage des chaînes préférées, il est possible d'appuyer sur le bouton « FAV »
pour effacer une chaîne entrée par erreur ou pour remettre à zéro les réglages.
Appuyez une fois sur le bouton « FAV » pour effacer une chaîne non voulue
(commande en un seul bouton). Quand une « chaîne préférée » est effacée,
l'indicateur lumineux clignote trois fois.

2. Pour effacer toutes les chaînes préférées : En mode de réglage des « chaînes
préférées », appuyez puis relâchez le bouton « FAV » jusqu'à ce que l'indicateur
lumineux clignote trois fois. Il indique ainsi que les informations de réglage sont
complètement effacées. Appuyez sur le bouton TV pour quitter.

Réglage du bouton multifonction

Des touches multifonctions sont prévues sur la télécommande : M1 et M2. Chaque bouton
multifonction peut mémoriser des informations pour 20 touches. Vous pouvez utiliser cette
fonction pour réunir les fonctions d'une série de boutons différents ou des boutons les plus
fréquemment utilisés en un seul bouton. Une fois le réglage terminé, appuyez sur le
bouton multifonction réglé préalablement. La télécommande émettra les codes de
commande des boutons qui ont été réglé au préalable dans l'ordre défini. Les opérations
de la télécommande sont alors simplifiées.
Par exemple : Exécuter la commande POWER sur le téléviseur et la commande
de basculement TV/AV.

1. Appuyez sur le bouton « TV ». Sélectionnez l'appareil électronique que vous souhaitez
régler.

2. Appuyez de façon prolongée simultanément sur les boutons « Volume+ » et

l'autre jeu de codes (chaque fois que vous appuyez sur un bouton, l'indicateur
lumineux clignote une fois).

4. Appuyez sur le bouton « TV ». L'indicateur lumineux s'éteint. Quitter les réglages.

REMARQUE : Après avoir quitté le réglage d'un bouton multifonction, la télécommande
basculera en mode de réglage de la fonction pré-multifonction. La télécommande n'établit
pas de connexion avec les appareils électroniques sélectionnés. Dirigez la télécommande
vers le téléviseur et appuyez sur le bouton « M1 » (pour tous les types d'appareils
électroniques). La télécommande émettra les codes de commande dans cet ordre :
« TV power » « AV/TV »

Effacer le réglage du bouton multifonction
Méthode de réglage :

1. En mode de réglage du bouton multifonction, appuyez le bouton M1/M2 correspondant.
Les fonctions du bouton de commande seront éliminées. Après avoir effacé les fonctions
du bouton multifonction, l'indicateur lumineux clignote trois fois.

2. Pour effacer complétement les fonctions du bouton multifonction : En mode de réglage
du bouton multifonction, appuyez puis relâchez le bouton « M1/M2 » jusqu'à ce que
l'indicateur lumineux clignote trois fois. Il indique ainsi que toutes les fonctions ont été
effacées. Appuyez sur n'importe quel bouton pour quitter.

A. Codes invoeren

de instelling FAV aan het opstarten is.

2. Voer het kanaalnummer in van uw favoriete kanaal. Druk op de knop “Power” om een

kanaalnummer in te voeren. Voer vervolgens het volgende kanaalnummer in. Druk op
de knop “TV” nadat u alle favoriete kanalen heeft ingevoerd. Het indicatielampje gaat
uit. De instelling is voltooid. (Als het indicatielampje 5 keer knippert, is er geen
geheugenruimte meer beschikbaar. Er kan geen kanaalnummer meer worden
ingevoerd).

Favoriet kanaal wissen

Instellingsmethode:

1. Druk tijdens het instellen van het FAV-kanaal op de knop “FAV” om het verkeerd

ingevoerde kanaal te wissen of de instellingen opnieuw in te stellen. Druk eenmaal op
de knop “FAV” om een ongewenst kanaal te wissen (een druk op de knop volstaat).
Wanneer een “favoriet kanaal” is gewist, knippert het indicatielampje driemaal.

2. Om alle favoriete kanalen te wissen: Druk onder de instellingsstand van

“favorietenkanaal” op de knop “FAV” totdat het indicatielampje drie keer knippert. Dit
geeft aan dat de informatie in deze instelling volledig is gewist. Druk op de knop “TV”
om af te sluiten.

Multifunctionele knopinstelling

Er zijn twee multifunctionele knoppen op de afstandsbediening: M1 en M2. Elke
multifunctionele knop kan gegevens opslaan voor 20 knoppen. U kunt deze functie
gebruiken om functies te combineren van een serie van verschillende knoppen of vaak
ingedrukte knoppen zodat slechts een druk op de knop nodig is. Nadat de instelling is
voltooid drukt u op de multifunctionele knop die eerder is ingesteld. De afstandsbediening
zal de controlecodes doorsturen van de knoppen die eerder zijn ingesteld in de juiste
volgorde. Dit biedt extra gebruiksgemak.
Bijvoorbeeld: Schakel de TV-set in en wissel naar TV/AV.

1. Druk op de knop “TV”. Kies het apparaat dat u wilt instellen.

2. Houd de knoppen “Volume+” en “Kanaal+” tegelijkertijd ingedrukt totdat de indicator

aangaat. Laat vervolgens beide knoppen los (het indicatielampje gaat uit en weer aan).
Voer handmatig code 9991 in. Het indicatielampje knippert een keer om het opstarten
van de M1-instelling aan te geven. (9992 is de overeenkomende code voor
M2-instelling).

3. Druk op de knop “POWER” om aan te geven dat power-gegevens van de TV op M1

zijn ingevoerd. Druk op de knop TV/AV om een andere codeset toe te voegen (elke
keer dat u een knop indrukt, knippert het indicatielampje eenmaal).

4. Druk op de knop “TV”. Het indicatielampje gaat uit. Verlaat de instellingen.

OPMERKING: Na het afsluiten van de multifunctionele instellingen, schakelt de
afstandsbediening terug naar de vorige instellingsstand. De afstandsbediening heeft geen
verbinding met de geselecteerde apparaten. Wijs de afstandsbediening naar de TV-set en
druk op de knop “M1” (voor elk soort apparaat). De afstandsbediening stuurt
gegevenscode door in deze volgorde:
“TV power” “AV/TV”

Multifunctionele knop wissen
Instellingsmethode:

1. Druk onder de multifunctionele instellingsstand op de bijbehorende M1-/M2-knop. Dit

verwijdert een opdrachtknop. Wanneer de gegevens van een multifunctionele knop
zijn gewist, knippert het indicatielampje driemaal.

2. Om de multifunctionele knoppen volledig te wissen: Druk onder de instellingsstand van

de multifunctionele knoppen op de knop “M1/M2” totdat het indicatielampje drie keer
knippert. Dit geeft aan dat alle functies zijn gewist. Druk op een knop om af te sluiten.

Reinig het product alleen met een droge doek.
Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen of schuurmiddelen.

SAT/CAV 3000 — 3773

1. Accendere l’apparecchio che si desidera controllare e cercare il primo gruppo di
codici dell’apparecchio sulla tabella codici. Esempio: se si desidera inserire il
codice di una TV PHILIPS, il primo gruppo di codici sarà 1492.

2. Premere il tasto “TV” e la spia luminosa si accenderà.

3. Tener premuti contemporaneamente i tasti “Volume+” e “Canale+” finché la spia
sarà accesa. Lasciare poi entrambi I pulsanti (la spia luminosa si spegnerà e

Nota:
I. Il codice inserito è corretto. La spia luminosa lampeggia due volte prima di

spegnersi.

II. Il codice inserito è sbagliato. La spia luminosa lampeggia tre volte. Reinserire il

codice.

III. Per uscire dalla funzione impostazioni, premere il tasto “Seleziona Apparecchio”.

Ad esempio: Premere il tasto TV se l’impostazione precedente è TV.

5. Dopo aver inserito il codice, la spia luminosa si spegne.

6. Controllare che gli altri tasti funzionino correttamente. Se funzionano,
l’impostazione è andata a buon fine. Se i pulsanti non funzionano correttamente,
ripetere i passaggi da 2 a 6 fino a trovare il codice corretto.

ripetere i passaggi da 2 a 5 fino a trovare il codice corretto.

Impostare i Canali Preferiti

Usare questa funzione per impostare i canali preferiti in “Canali Preferiti”.

Metodo di Impostazione:

1. Premere il pulsante “TV” e selezionare l’apparecchio da impostare.
Tener premuti contemporaneamente i tasti “Volume+” e “Canale+” finché la spia sarà
accesa. Lasciare poi entrambi I pulsanti (la spia luminosa si spegnerà e riaccenderà).
Inserire manualmente il codice 9993. La spia luminosa si illumina per indicare che le
impostazioni PREF sono in modalità avvio.

2. Inserire il numero del canale preferito. Premere il pulsante “Power” per inserire il
numero di un canale. Inserire poi il numero del canale successivo. Premere il pulsante
“TV” dopo che sono stati inseriti tutti i canali preferiti. La spia luminosa si spegnerà.
L’impostazione è completata. (Lo spazio della memoria è completo quando la spia
luminosa lampeggia 5 volte. Non è possibile aggiungere altri canali).
Ad esempio: Si desidera inserire I canali (02), (38) e (56) tra i preferiti nella pagina TV.
Inserire manualmente il codice 9993 prima di inserire i numeri dei canali uno alla volta.
