INSTRUCTIONS

CONNECTION

1. Connect the AC cord to the AC socket and the wall socket. The set is now ready
to use.

2. To switch off the set completely, pull the AC cord off the wall socket.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Rotate the Volume Knob clockwise to turn the radio on and adjust to desired
sound level. The unit is turned on and the Power Indicator will light up.

2. Slide the Band Switch into the band which you want to be broadcasted.

3. You may connect headphones with a 3.5 mm plug to the Earphone Jack. Do not
play your headphones at a high volume that can damage the hearing.

4. Adjust the antenna. (Refer to "Antennas" )

5. Rotate the Tuning Knob to tune in your favorite station. When the
broadcast is strong, the tuning indicator will light up.

6. After use, rotate the Volume Knob anti-clockwise to turn the radio off till a "click"
is heard.

NOTES:

When the broadcast is weak or the batteries have been exhausted, the Tuning
Indicator may not light up even if the sound is still audible through the speaker.

Antennas

FM:

Pull out the Telescopic Antenna and adjust its length and angle for
optimum reception.

AM:

The sensitive ferrite care antenna inside the set will provide
excellent AM reception in most areas for optimum reception, turn
the set in the direction which gives the best results since the ferrite
care antenna is directional.

ANLEITUNG

ANSCHLUSS

1. Stecken Sie das Netzkabel in die Netzanschlussbuchse und in eine
Netzsteckdose. Das Radio ist jetzt einsatzbereit.

2. Um das Radio komplett auszuschalten, ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus der
Netzsteckdose.

RADIO BETRIEB

1. Zum Einschalten des Radios drehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler nach rechts, und

stellen damit auch die gewünschte Lautstärke ein. Das Gerät ist eingeschalten und
die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet auf.

2. Drehen Sie den Umschalter UKW/MW auf den gewünschten Empfangsbereich.

3. Sie können Kopfhörer mit einem 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker an den

Kopfhöreranschluss anschließen. Benutzen Sie Ihre Kopfhörer nicht mit voller
Lautstärke, das kann das Hörvermögen schädigen.

4. Justieren Sie die Antenne (siehe unter "Antennen").

5. Drehen Sie die Senderabstimmung auf den gewünschten Sender. Bei gutem

Empfang leuchtet die Abstimmanzeige auf.

6. Zum Ausschalten drehen Sie den Lautstärkeregler nach links, bis ein "Klicken"

zu hören ist.

ANMERKUNG:

Wenn der Empfang schwach ist oder die Batterien erschöpft sind, leuchtet
möglicherweise die Abstimmanzeige nicht auf, selbst wenn der Ton noch durch den
Lautsprecher hörbar ist.

ANTENNEN

UKW:

Ziehen Sie die Teleskopantenne aus und justieren Sie deren Länge, Winkel und
Richtung für den besten Empfang.

MW:

Innerhalb des Gerätes ermöglicht eine empfindliche Ferritantenne den MW­Empfang. Da diese Antenne richtungsabhängig ist, müssen Sie das Gerät in die
Richtung mit dem besten Empfang drehen.

INSTRUCTIONS

CONNEXION

1. Connectez le câble AC à la prise AC et à la prise murale. L’ensemble est
maintenant prêt à être utilisé.

2. Pour éteindre complètement l’ensemble, débranchez le câble AC de la prise
murale.

OPERATION RADIO

1. Tournez le bouton Volume dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour allumer
la radio et réglez au niveau souhaité. L’unité est allumée et l’Indicateur
d’Alimentation s’allume.

2. Glissez l’interrupteur de Bande vers la bande que vous souhaitez écouter.

3. Vous pouvez connecter un casque avec une fiche 3.5 mm à l’entrée Jack
Casque. N’écoutez pas votre casque avec un volume très élevé car cela peut
endommager votre audition.

4. Réglez l’antenne. (Voir "Antennes" )

5. Tournez le Bouton Tuning jusqu’à capter votre station préférée. Quand la
réception est optimale, l’indicateur tuning s’allume.

6. Après utilisation, tournez le Bouton Volume dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre jusqu’à entendre un "click" pour éteindre la radio.

NOTES:

Quand la réception est faible ou les piles sont vides, l’Indicateur Tuning peut ne pas
s’allumer même si le son est toujours audible à travers le haut-parleur.

Antennes

FM:

Tirez l’Antenne Télescopique et réglez sa longueur et angle pour une réception
optimale.

AM:

L’antenne à filtre ferrite à l’intérieur de l’unité fournira une réception AM excellente,
tournez l’unité dans la direction qui donne les meilleurs résultats car l’antenne à
filtre ferrite est directionnelle.
