The ANT 118-KN is a highly efcient amplied indoor AM/FM antenna with manual gain control.

Installation instruction:

1. Connect the FM (75Ohm) cable or AM (300Ohm) at antenna wire to the audio system.

2. Plug power cord into the AC wall outlet.

Reception adjustment:

The antenna may be installed on top of a stereo audio receiver or in close proximity to the receiver
to get a better reception. Avoid installing the antenna near a CD player, computer or other digital
processing equipment because they may interfere with the FM reception. Fluorescent lights or other
electronic equipment may also interfere with the AM signal reception. If there is interference, either
turn off the interfering source or turn the antenna in a different direction.

This antenna can improve the signal receiving capability even with the gain control at the maximum
level. To amplify the signal turn the gain control knob until the receiver reaches its best reception.

Safety precautions:

To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should ONLY be opened by

an authorized technician when service is required. Disconnect the product
from mains and other equipment if a problem should occur. Do not expose the product to water or
moisture.

Maintenance:

Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.

Installationsanleitung:

1. Schließen Sie das UKW-Kabel (75 Ohm) und/oder das ache MW-Antennenkabel (300 Ohm) am

Audiosystem an.

2. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.

Empfangseinstellung:

Die Antenne kann oben auf einem Stereo-Audioempfänger oder in unmittelbarer Umgebung zum
Empfänger für besseren Empfang installiert werden. Installieren Sie die Antenne möglichst nicht in der
Nähe eines CD-Players, Computers oder digitaler Verarbeitungsgeräte, da diese den UKW-Empfang
stören können. Fluoreszierendes Licht oder elektronische Geräte können außerdem das MW-Signal
stören. Bei Störungen schalten Sie entweder die Störquelle aus oder drehen Sie die Antenne in eine
andere Richtung.

Diese Antenne kann den Signalempfang verbessern, selbst wenn die Verstärkungsregelung auf die
Höchststufe eingestellt ist. Zur Signalverstärkung drehen Sie den Verstärkungsregler, bis der Empfang
optimal ist.

Réglage de réception

L’antenne peut être installée au dessus d’un récepteur audio stéréo tout près de ce dernier
pour obtenir une bonne réception. Evitez d’installer l’antenne à côté d’un lecteur CD, ordinateur
ou processeur de traitement de signal numérique car il y a risque d’interférence. Les lumières
uorescentes et autres équipements électroniques peuvent provoquer des interférences avec le signal
AM. En cas d’interférence, désactivez l’équipement source de l’interférence ou réorientez l’antenne.

L’antenne peut améliorer la réception du signal même lorsque le réglage de gain est au niveau
maximum. Pour amplier le signal, tournez la bouton de gain jusqu’à obtenir une bonne réception.

Consignes de sécurité :

Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique, ce produit ne doit être ouvert

que par un technicien qualié si une réparation s’impose. Débranchez

l’appareil et les autres équipements du secteur s’il y a un problème. Ne
pas exposer l’appareil à l’eau ni à l’humidité.

Entretien :

Ne nettoyez l’appareil qu’avec un chiffon sec. N’utilisez pas de solvants ou de produits abrasifs.

Ontvangst afstellen:

De antenne kan bovenop een stereo audio-ontvanger of dicht in de buurt van de ontvanger
geïnstalleerd worden voor een betere ontvangst. Installeer de antenne niet in de buurt van een CD
speler, computer of digitale verwerkingsapparatuur, omdat deze de FM ontvangst kunnen verstoren.
TL-verlichting of andere elektronische apparatuur kan de AM signaalontvangst ook verstoren. Mocht u
last hebben van interferentie, schakel dan de verstorende bron uit of draai de antenne in een andere
richting.

Deze antenne kan zelfs met de gain regeling op maximaal niveau de signaalontvangst verbeteren. Om
het signaal te versterken, kunt u de gain regeling draaien totdat de ontvanger de optimale ontvangst
biedt.

Veiligheidsvoorzorgsmaatregelen:

Om het risico op elektrische schokken te voorkomen mag dit product

ALLEEN worden geopend door een erkende technicus wanneer er
onderhoud nodig is. Koppel het product los van de elektrische voeding en van andere apparatuur als
zich problemen voordoen. Stel het product niet bloot aan water of vocht.

Onderhoud:

Uitsluitend reinigen met een droge doek. Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen of schuurmiddelen.
