Congratulations on the purchase of your new device.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions
are part of this product. They contain important information on safety,
use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with
all operating and safety instructions. Use this product only as described
and only for the specifi ed areas of application. Retain these instructions
for future reference. Please also pass these operating instructions on
to any future owner(s).

connection and operation contained in these operating instructions
correspond to the latest version at the time of printing and, to the best
of our knowledge, take into account our previous experience and
know-how. No claims can be derived from the details, illustrations
and descriptions in these instructions. The manufacturer assumes
no responsibility for damage caused by failure to observe these
instructions, improper use, incompetent repairs, making unauthorised
modifi cations or for the use of non-approved replacement parts.
Intended use
This colour camera with 8 IR LEDs is intended to provide picture and
sound surveillance in poorly visible or critical areas (e.g. entrance
areas) of buildings. The camera is suitable for use in outdoor areas
protected from rain (IP44). The mains adapter is intended for indoor
use only. This product is not intended for commercial or industrial
use. The warranty does not provide compensation for damage
caused by improper use of the device!

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. Incorrect usage can lead to personal
injury and property damage.
Basic Safety Instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety
information:
■ Before use, check the device for visible external damage.
Do not use a device that has been damaged or dropped.
■ This device may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under

supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and
are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the
device. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried
out by children unless they are supervised.
■ Do not make any unauthorised modifi cations or alterations to the
device.
■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be
carried out by a customer service department authorised by the
manufacturer. Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be
considered for subsequent damage.
■ Ensure that the device is not exposed to dust, dirt, oil or fat.
■ The device must not be exposed to extremes of temperature,
direct sunlight, strong vibrations or severe mechanical forces.
■ Please comply with the legislation in the respective country if
people are to be monitored with this camera.
■ Ensure that all electrical connections and connecting cables
between the devices are correctly installed as described in the
operating instructions.
■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration.
■ Never submerge the device in water and do not place objects
fi lled with liquids (such as vases) on the appliance.
■ If the device is to be used in combination with other equipment,
such as a monitor, ensure that the operating instructions and
safety instructions of these devices are also followed.
■ The connecting cable must not be pinched, kinked or routed over
sharp edges.
■ Operate the device only with the supplied power adapter.
■ The mains adapter is intended for indoor use only.
■ To disconnect the power supply from the camera, unplug the
mains adapter from the socket.
■ The mains power socket must always be easily accessible so that
the mains adapter can be quickly removed from the mains power
socket in the case of an emergency.
■ In the case of a malfunction (unusual noises or smoke) or a thun-
derstorm, disconnect the mains adapter from the power socket.

Do not open the housing of the mains adapter – there is a risk of
electrocution.
■ To avoid damage caused by improper warming, do not cover the
mains power adapter.
■ Route the cable so that there is no danger of tripping and so that
the cable will not get damaged.
■ The connectors for the connecting cables must not be exposed
to moisture. The connectors must therefore (in case of external
installation) be protected against penetration by liquids.

Assembly
NOTE
►
Mount the camera so that it can be reached without aid. The
same applies to the connecting cables. These should ideally
be laid in plastic or metal ducting.
► The camera is not suitable for ceiling mounting as the image
can not be rotated.
CAUTION
►
When selecting a mounting location for the camera, ensure
that it is not subjected to direct sunlight, vibrations, moisture,
dust, heat or cold.
♦ Using the wall bracket as a template, mark the positions for the
drill holes on the wall.
♦ Drill three holes (ø 6 mm) and insert the wall plugs supplied.
When drilling, ensure that you do not inadvertently damage
power, gas or water lines.
♦ Screw the wall bracket to the wall using the supplied screws.
Setting the camera position
♦ Loosen the locking screw and the knurled nut on the wall
bracket and align the camera accordingly.
♦ Re-tighten the locking screw and the knurled nut .
Connecting the camera
The camera has a connecting cable with two cinch sockets +
and a low voltage socket .
♦ Connect the camera to the corresponding connections
to
on the extension cable .
♦ Connect the cinch plugs + (video and audio) on the extension
cable to the audio and video inputs of your display device
(e.g. a monitor). If you require audio transmission, the audio connection can be left open.

♦
Connect the low voltage plug of the mains adapter to the
low voltage socket
of the extension cable
.
♦ Connect the mains adapter to a correctly-installed and
earthed mains socket. The green operating light of the mains
adapter lights up.
♦ Switch on the display device and select the correct channel to
receive a signal.
♦ Afterwards, align the camera so that the required fi eld of vision
can be monitored (See chapter "Setting the camera position").
NOTE
►
The IR LEDs are automatically activated when it gets dark.
The light from the IR LEDs is, however, not visible to the
human eye. Please note that night-time pictures will not be in
colour but in black and white.
Cleaning
CAUTION
►
Disconnect the device from the mains and all connections before
cleaning. Ensure that no moisture can penetrate the device
during cleaning.
■ Clean the camera occasionally to remove dust and dirt, especially
the front lens. Use a clean, soft, dry cloth to do this. Do not rub
too hard otherwise you may leave slight scratches on the front
lens which can adversely aff ect the picture quality.

Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
Never dispose of the device in the normal
domestic waste. This product is subject to
the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at
your community waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are
in any doubt.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage.
The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of
their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves
on raw material and reduces the amount of waste generated.
Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the
regionally established regulations.
Appendix
Notes on the EC Declaration of Conformity
This appliance, with regard to conformity with essential
requirements and other relevant provisions, complies
with the guidelines of the Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive 2004/108/EC, the Directive for Low Voltage
Appliances 2006/95/EC and the RoHS Directive
2011/65/EU.

The warranty provided for this device is 3 years from the date of purchase. This device has been manufactured with care and inspected
meticulously prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a
warranty claim, please contact your Customer Service by telephone.
This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE

The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for transport damages, worn parts or for
damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This device is intended solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or modifi cations
that were not carried out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs made under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date

Ta kolorowa kamera z 8 diodami podczerwieni służy do monitorowania obiektów w niewidocznych lub trudno dostępnych miejscach
(np. strefa wejścia), rejestrując obraz i dźwięk. Kamera jest przystosowana do użytku na zewnątrz w miejscach chronionych przed
deszczem (IP 44). Zasilacz sieciowy jest przeznaczony wyłącznie

■ Zadbaj o to, aby urządzenie nie było narażone na działanie
pyłu, zanieczyszczeń, oleju ani smaru.
■ Urządzenie nie może być narażane na oddziaływanie ekstremal-

■ Przestrzegać przepisów prawa kraju, w którym prowadzony jest
monitoring osób przy pomocy tej kamery.
■ Upewnij się, czy wszystkie połączenia elektryczne, przewody
połączeniowe między urządzeniami są wykonane w sposób
prawidłowy i zgodny z instrukcją obsługi.
■ Urządzenie chronić przed wilgocią i przedostawaniem się cieczy
do jego wnętrza.
■ Nigdy nie wolno zanurzać urządzenia w wodzie ani nie stawiać
na lub obok urządzenia przedmiotów wypełnionych płynami,
takich jak wazony lub otwarte napoje.
■ Jeśli urządzenie jest używane w połączeniu z innymi urządzenia-
mi, takimi jak monitor, należy stosować się również do instrukcji
obsługi oraz wskazówek bezpieczeństwa tych urządzeń.

■ Aby przerwać zasilanie kamery, wyjmij wtyczkę zasilacza siecio-
wego z gniazdka.
■ Gniazdo zasilania powinno być łatwo dostępne, aby na wypa-
dek niebezpieczeństwa można było łatwo wyjąć wtyk zasilacza
sieciowego z gniazda.
■ W przypadku usterek (nietypowe dźwięki lub wydostający się
dym) oraz podczas burzy zawsze wyciągaj zasilacz sieciowy
z gniazda zasilania.
■ Nie otwieraj obudowy zasilacza sieciowego - niebezpieczeństwo
porażenia prądem!
■ Nie zakrywaj zasilacza sieciowego, by nie spowodować jego
uszkodzenia wskutek przegrzania.
■ Przewód zasilający układaj tak, aby nie powodować niebezpie-
czeństwa potknięcia się oraz uszkodzenia przewodu.
■ Połączenia wtykowe przewodów zasilających nie mogą być
narażone na kontakt z wilgocią. Dlatego połączenia wtykowe
(przy montażu na zewnątrz) należy zabezpieczyć przed przedostającą się wilgocią.
