Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product. These operating instruc-
tions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of
these operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and
only for the specifi ed areas of application. In addition, pass these documents on,
together with the product, to any future owner.

Intended use

This appliance is intended only for the heating of indoor living spaces and only
for domestic use. This appliance is not intended for use in areas where special
conditions may apply, such as corrosive or potentially explosive atmospheres
(dust, vapour or gas). Do not use the appliance outdoors. This appliance is not
intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned. Claims of any
kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be accepted. The operator
alone bears liability.

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling
of the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can
lead to personal injury and property damage.
Do not cover the appliance!
Covering the appliance can lead to overheating and
thus result in a fi re!
Basic Safety Instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following
safety information:
■ Before use check the appliance for visible external damage.
Do not put into operation an appliance that is damaged or
has been dropped.
■ If the appliance‘s mains power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer‘s customer
service department or by a qualifi ed technician, so that risks
can be prevented.
■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they
are under supervision or have been told how to use of the
appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
■ Children younger than three years old should be kept away
from the appliance unless they are constantly monitored.
■ Children older than 3 and younger 8 years of age may only
switch the appliance on and off if they are supervised or
instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers, provided that the appliance is
located or installed in its normal operating position. Children
older than 3 and younger than 8 years of age may not plug
in, regulate or clean the appliance and may not carry out
user maintenance tasks.

■ Caution – some parts of the product may be very hot and
cause burns. Be particularly careful when children and vulnerable persons are present.
■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist
companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incompetent repairs can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In
addition, warranty claims become void.
■ Defective components may only be replaced with original
replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts
can it be assured that the safety requirements are being complied with.
■ Protect the appliance against moisture and liquid penetration.
■ Always disconnect the power cable from the mains power
socket with the plug, never pull on the cable.
■ Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of open fl ames.
■ The appliance must not be placed immediately under or over
a mains power socket.
■ In the event of malfunctions and during thunderstorms dis-
connect the plug from the mains power socket.
■ The appliance must not be used in the immediate vicinity of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
■ The appliance is to be installed so that a person in the bath
or shower is unable to touch the switch and other controls.
■ Do not subject the appliance to spray and/or dripping water
and do not place any objects fi lled with liquid, such as vases
or open drink containers, on or near the appliance.

Initial use
Items supplied and transport inspection
The appliance is delivered with the following components as standard:

NOTICE
Check the contents to ensure everything is available and for signs of visible

damage.
► If the delivery is not complete or is damaged due to defective packaging
or through transportation contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material
and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed according to the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
►
period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appliance ideally for its return.
Requirements on the set-up location
For safe and faultless operation of the appliance the set-up location must satisfy
the following criteria:
■ The appliance must be placed on a fi rm, fl at and horizontal surface.
■ Minimum spacings to the housing of 50 cm to the sides, 50 cm above, 50 cm
to the rear and 100 cm to the front must be maintained.
■ Do not place the appliance in a hot, wet or very moist environment or in the
vicinity of fl ammable materials.
■ The mains power socket must be easily accessable so that, in an emergency,
the mains power cable can be easily disconnected.
■ Environment temperature range: 0 to +40°C
■ Humidity (no condensation): 5 - 75 %

DANGER
Fire risk through contact with materials!
The risk of fi re exists if the heating elements come into contact
with fl ammable materials!
► Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of curtains and other fl ammable
materials.
► Do not allow fl ammable materials (i.e. draperies) to come into contact
with the appliance.
► Do not cover the appliance.
Before initial use
■ Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing appliances from the
appliance.
NOTICE
With initial use, for a brief period, a light odour accumulation can occur.
►
This is normal and completely harmless.
Electrical connection
For safe and faultless operation of the appliance after electrical connection
observe the following advice:
TAKE NOTE
Before connecting the appliance compare the connection data (voltage
►
and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your mains power supply.
This data must be in agreement so as to avoid damage to the appliance.
► Make sure that the mains power cable is not damaged and is not running
over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges.
► Make sure that the mains power cable is not stretched or knotted.
♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

Handling and operation
In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation
of the appliance.
Operating switch
The operating switch 4 has 4 positions and switches the ventilator and the
heating levels on and off .
= Appliance switched off
= only ventilator
= Ventilator and heating level 1
= Ventilator and heating level 2
Temperature regulator
The temperature regulator 6 is steplessly adjustable.
By turning it clockwise a higher temperature is set,
by turning it anticlockwise a lower temperature will
be set.
Ventilator operation
♦ Ensure that the operating switch 4 is at position 0 (off ).
♦ Turn the temperature regulator 6 clockwise to the right.
♦ Set the operating switch 4 to the position .
♦ The fan heater turns on and the operating light 5 is red.
Heating operation
♦ If the appliance is being taken into service for the fi rst time or if you want
to reset the desired temperature, turn the temperature regulator 6 clockwise to the right.
♦ Set the operating switch 4 to the desired operating mode (I or II).
Setting the temperature
♦ Turn the temperature regulator 6 clockwise to the right.
♦ When the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly turn the
temperature regulator 6 anti-clockwise until a slight click sound is heard.
This means that the heating element is now switched off .
♦ The heating element is now switched on and off automatically by the
temperature regulator

and the temperature is kept constant.

Overheating protection
The appliance is fi tted with a overheating protector. Should the appliance become
too hot internally, the heating element switches itself off automatically. Once
the appliance has cooled itself down, the heating element switches back on
automatically.
WARNING
As a general rule, overheating has a reason! It can mean a risk
of fi re!
► Check that the appliance can suffi ciently disburse the heat generated:
Is the appliance covered or is it too close to a wall or other obstacle?
Are the grilles on the front or back clear? Is the ventilator blocked?
► If possible, eliminate the problem or contact the Service Hotline
(see Chapter Service).
► Even if you cannot fi nd a cause, but the overheating protection triggers
a second time, you must return the appliance to Customer Services for
inspection or repair.
Tilt cut-out
This Fan Heater is fi tted with a safety switch 3. Should the Fan Heater tip over, it
switches itself off automatically. The Fan Heater fi rst switches itself on again when
it is in an upright position and the safety switch 3 is actuated.

WARNING
Observe the following safety information to avoid risks and property damage:
► Only clean the appliance when it is switched off and cold.
IMPORTANT
Possible damage to the appliance.
Penetrating moisture can lead to the appliance becoming damaged.
► When you are cleaning the appliance ensure that no moisture can get
inside, so as to avoid irreparable damage to it.
■ Clean the housing exclusively with a soft damp cloth and a mild dishwashing liquid.
■ Remove dust deposits on the protective screen with a vacuum cleaner.

Storage
■ Disconnect the mains power plug if you do not intend to use the appliance for an
extended period of time.
■ Store the appliance in a dry environment.
Disposal
Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

In this chapter you will receive important information for malfunction localisation
and remedies.

have been trained by the manufacturer. Considerable risks for the user and

Utilizarea conform destinaţiei
Acest aparat este destinat doar pentru încălzirea spaţiilor închise şi doar pentru
uzul privat. Acest aparat nu este destinat utilizării în spaţii în care predomină

Siguranţa
În acest capitol sunt cuprinse indicaţii importante privind siguranţa în manipularea
aparatului.
Acest aparat corespunde dispoziţiilor prezentate cu privire la siguranţă. Utilizarea
necorespunzătoare a aparatului poate provoca rănirea persoanelor şi pagube
materiale.
Nu acoperiţi aparatul!
Acoperirea poate provoca supraîncălzirea aparatului
şi astfel formarea de foc deschis!
Indicaţii de bază privind siguranţa
Respectaţi următoarele indicaţii de siguranţă, pentru o manipulare sigură a acestui aparat:
■ Înainte de utilizare verifi caţi dacă aparatul prezintă defecţiuni
exterioare vizibile. Nu puneţi aparatul în funcţiune dacă este
deteriorat sau dacă a căzut.
■ În cazul în care cablul de alimentare al acestui aparat este
defect/se defectează, acesta trebuie înlocuit de către producător, serviciul clienţi sau de către o altă persoană califi cată.
■ Acest aparat poate fi utilizat atât de către copii începând
cu vârsta de 8 ani, cât şi de persoane cu abilităţi fi zice,
senzoriale sau mentale reduse sau fără experienţă şi fără
cunoştinţe necesare, dacă sunt supravegheate sau dacă au
fost instruite cu privire la utilizarea sigură a acestui aparat şi
au înţeles pericolele cu privire la acesta. Copiii nu au voie
să se joace cu aparatul. Curăţarea şi acţiunile de întreţinere
destinate utilizatorului nu se vor efectua de către copii fără
supraveghere.
■ Copiii cu vârsta sub 3 ani nu trebuie să se afl e în apropierea
aparatului decât dacă sunt supravegheaţi permanent.
■ Copiii cu vârsta cuprinsă între 3 şi 8 ani pot porni şi opri
aparatul numai dacă sunt supravegheaţi sau dacă au fost
instruiţi cu privire la utilizarea sigură a aparatului şi au înţeles
pericolele cu privire la acesta, cu condiţia ca aparatul să fi e
amplasat sau instalat în poziţia normală de utilizare. Copiilor cu vârsta cuprinsă între 3 şi 8 ani le sunt interzise introducerea ştecărului în priză, reglarea aparatului, curăţarea şi/
sau realizarea acţiunilor de întreţinere destinate utilizatorului.

■ Precauţie - Anumite componente ale aparatului se pot înfi er-
bânta provocând arsuri. Este necesară o precauţie deosebită în prezenţa copiilor şi persoanelor vulnerabile.
■ Reparaţia aparatului trebuie realizată numai într-un atelier
de specialitate autorizat sau de către serviciul clienţi. În
urma reparaţiilor necorespunzătoare pot apărea pericole
considerabile pentru utilizatorul aparatului. În plus, se pierde
garanţia.
■ Componentele defecte trebuie înlocuite numai cu piese de
schimb originale. Doar în cazul acestor piese aveţi garanţia
că cerinţele privind siguranţa sunt îndeplinite.
■ Protejaţi aparatul împotriva umezelii şi infi ltrării lichidelor.
■ Când scoateţi cablul de alimentare din priză, trageţi întot-
deauna de ştecăr, nu de cablu.
■ Nu operaţi aparatul în apropierea fl ăcărilor deschise.
■ Aparatul nu trebuie amplasat direct sub sau deasupra unei
prize de perete.
■ În cazul defecţiunilor şi în timpul furtunilor scoateţi ştecărul
din priză.
■ Este interzisă utilizarea aparatului în imediata apropiere a
unei căzi de baie, a unui duş sau a unui bazin de înot.
■ Aparatul trebuie amplasat în aşa fel încât întrerupătorul şi
alte butoane de reglare să nu poată fi atinse de către o
persoană afl ată în cada de baie sau sub duş.
■ Nu expuneţi aparatul jeturilor şi/sau picăturilor de apă şi nu
aşezaţi obiecte cu apă, de exemplu vaze sau sticle deschise,
pe sau lângă aparat.

Punerea în funcţiune
Furnitura şi verifi carea transportului
În mod standard, aparatul este livrat cu următoarele componente:
▯ Radiator cu aer
▯ Aceste instrucţiuni de utilizare
INDICAŢIE
Verifi caţi dacă furnitura este completă şi dacă prezintă deteriorări vizibile.
►
► În cazul în care furnitura este incompletă sau dacă componentele sunt
deteriorate din cauza ambalajului precar sau a transportului, apelaţi linia
telefonică directă de service (a se vedea capitolul Service).
Eliminarea ambalajului
Ambalajul protejează aparatul împotriva deteriorărilor în timpul transportului.
Materialele de ambalat sunt alese conform compatibilităţii acestora cu mediul
şi aspectelor tehnice privind eliminarea, fi ind astfel reciclabile.
Reintroducerea ambalajelor în circuitul de materiale contribuie la economia de
materie primă şi reduce cantitatea de deşeuri. Eliminaţi ambalajul de care nu
mai aveţi nevoie conform prevederilor locale în vigoare.
INDICAŢIE
Dacă este posibil, păstraţi ambalajul original al aparatului pe perioada
►
garanţiei pentru a putea ambala aparatul corespunzător în caz de utilizare
a garanţiei.
Cerinţele pentru locul de amplasare
Pentru operarea sigură şi fără defecţiuni a aparatului, locul de amplasare trebuie
să îndeplinească următoarele cerinţe:
■ Aparatul trebuie amplasat pe o suprafaţă stabilă, netedă şi orizontală.
■ Distanţele minime din jurul carcasei trebuie să fi e de 50 de cm în lateral,
50 de cm deasupra, 50 de cm în spate şi 100 de cm în faţă.
■ Nu amplasaţi aparatul într-un mediu foarte cald sau umed şi nici în apropierea
materialelor infl amabile.
■ Priza trebuie să fi e uşor accesibilă pentru a putea scoate uşor ştecărul din priză
în caz de urgenţă.
■ Temperatura mediului ambiant: 0 - +40°C
■ Umiditatea aerului (fără condens): 5 - 75 %

PERICOL

► Nu amplasaţi aparatul în apropierea perdelelor sau a altor materiale
infl amabile.
► Evitaţi contactul dintre materialele infl amabile (de exemplu textile) şi
aparat.
► Nu acoperiţi aparatul.
Înainte de prima utilizare
■ Îndepărtaţi toate ambalajele şi siguranţele de transport de pe aparat.
INDICAŢIE
La prima utilizare se pot degaja pentru scurt timp mirosuri uşoare.
►
Acest lucru este absolut normal şi inofensiv.
Conexiunea electrică
Pentru funcţionarea sigură şi fără defecţiuni a aparatului, la conectarea electrică
respectaţi următoarele indicaţii:
ATENŢIE
Înainte de conectarea aparatului, comparaţi datele de conectare (tensiune
►
şi frecvenţă) de pe plăcuţa de fabricaţie cu cele ale reţelei dvs. electrice.
Aceste date trebuie să fi e identice, pentru a evita defectarea aparatului.
► Asiguraţi-vă să nu fi e defect cablul de alimentare şi nici să nu fi e amplasat pe
suprafeţe fi erbinţi şi/sau muchii ascuţite.
► Atenţie la cablul de alimentare să nu stea tensionat sau să fi e îndoit.

Operarea şi funcţionarea
Acest capitol cuprinde indicaţii importante cu privire la operarea şi funcţionarea
aparatului.
Comutator de funcţionare
Comutatorul de funcţionare 4 are 4 poziţii şi poate porni şi opri ventilatorul şi
treptele de încălzire.

= doar ventilatorul
= ventilatorul şi treapta de încălzire 1
= ventilatorul şi treapta de încălzire 2
Butonul de reglare a temperaturii
Butonul de reglare a temperaturii 6 poate fi setat fără
trepte. Prin întoarcerea în sensul acelor de ceasornic se
setează o temperatură mai mare, iar prin întoarcerea în
sens invers acelor de ceasornic se setează o temperatură
mai mică.
Funcţionarea ventilatorului
♦ Asiguraţi-vă că comutatorul de funcţionare 4 este setat pe poziţia 0 (oprit).
♦ Rotiţi butonul de reglare a temperaturii 6 în sensul acelor de ceasornic
complet spre dreapta.
♦ Setaţi comutatorul de funcţionare 4 la poziţia .
♦ Ventilatorul pornește și becul de funcţionare 5 luminează roșu.
Funcţionarea sistemului de încălzire
♦ Atunci când aparatul este pus pentru prima dată în funcţiune sau când
doriţi să setaţi din nou temperatura dorită, rotiţi butonul de reglare a
temperaturii 6 în sensul acelor de ceasornic complet spre dreapta.
♦ Setaţi cu ajutorul comutatorului de funcţionare 4 modul de funcţionare
dorit (I sau II).
Setarea temperaturii
♦ Rotiţi butonul de reglare a temperaturii 6 mai întâi complet spre dreapta.
♦ Dacă s-a ajuns la temperatura dorită în cameră, întoarceţi încet butonul de
reglare a temperaturii 6 în sens invers acelor de ceasornic, până când veţi
auzi un click. Aceasta înseamnă că sistemul de încălzire s-a oprit.

♦ Sistemul de încălzire va fi acum pornit şi oprit automat de către butonul de
reglare a temperaturii 6, iar temperatura va fi menţinută constantă.
Protecţia la supraîncălzire
Aparatul este dotat cu un sistem de protecţie la supraîncălzire. Dacă aparatul se
încălzeşte prea tare în interior, sistemul de încălzire se opreşte automat. Imediat
ce aparatul s-a răcit, sistemul de încălzire porneşte din nou automat.
AVERTIZARE
De obicei există un motiv pentru supraîncălzire! Aceasta poate
însemna pericol de incendiu!
► Controlaţi dacă aparatul poate radia sufi cientă căldură: Este aparatul
acoperit sau este prea aproape de perete sau există un alt obstacol?
Este grilajul din faţă sau din spate liber? Este ventilatorul blocat?
► Rezolvaţi problema dacă este posibil sau apelaţi linia telefonică directă
de service (a se vedea capitolul Service).
► Chiar dacă nu găsiţi niciun fel de cauză, deşi sistemul de protecţie la supra-
încălzire porneşte, trebuie să trimiteţi aparatul pentru a fi controlat, resp.
reparat de către serviciul clienţi.
Siguranţa la răsturnare
Aparatul este dotat cu un comutator de siguranţă 3. De îndată ce radiatorul cu
aer se răstoarnă, acesta se oprește automat. Radiatorul cu aer pornește din nou
doar atunci când acesta se afl ă în poziţie verticală și astfel comutatorul de
siguranţă 3 este acţionat.

AVERTIZARE
Respectaţi următoarele indicaţii de siguranţă pentru a evita pericolele şi pagubele
materiale:
► Curăţaţi aparatul numai dacă este oprit şi rece.
ATENŢIE
Posibilă defectare a aparatului.
Infi ltrarea umezelii poate provoca deteriorarea aparatului.
► În timpul curăţării asiguraţi-vă că în aparat nu pătrunde umezeală, pentru
a evita defectarea iremediabilă a aparatului.
■ Curăţaţi carcasa numai cu un prosop uşor umezit şi un detergent universal.
■ Îndepărtaţi cu un aspirator depunerile de praf de pe grilajul de protecţie.

Depozitarea
■ Scoateţi ştecărul din priză dacă nu utilizaţi aparatul o perioadă lungă de timp.
■ Depozitaţi aparatul într-o încăpere uscată.
Eliminarea
Nu aruncaţi aparatul sub nicio formă în gunoiul menajer obişnuit.
Acest produs se află sub incidenţa Directivei europene 2012/19/
EU DEEE (Deşeuri de echipamente electrice şi electronice).
Eliminaţi aparatul prin intermediul unei fi rme autorizate sau prin intermediul
centrului local de colectare a deşeurilor. Respectaţi reglementările actuale în vigoare. Dacă aveţi nelămuriri, contactaţi serviciul local de eliminare a deşeurilor.
Remedierea defecţiunilor
Acest capitol cuprinde indicaţii importante cu privire la localizarea şi remedierea
defecţiunilor.
AVERTIZARE
Respectaţi următoarele indicaţii de siguranţă pentru a evita pericolele şi pagubele
materiale:
► Repararea aparatelor electrice este permisă numai specialiştilor autorizaţi
de producător. Reparaţiile incompetente reprezintă un pericol pentru
utilizatorul aparatului şi defectarea acestuia din urmă.

Sicherheit
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem
Gerät. Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.
Gerät nicht abdecken!
Abdecken des Gerätes kann zur Überhitzung und
somit zur Entstehung eines Brandes führen!
Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die
folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:
■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere
sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
■ Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt
ist/wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifi zierte Person ersetzt werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber
sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung
und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und
Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

■ Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre sind fernzuhalten, es sei denn sie
werden ständig überwacht.
■ Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen das Gerät
nur ein- und ausschalten, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden
haben, vorausgesetzt, dass das Gerät in seiner normalen
Gebrauchslage platziert oder installiert ist. Kindern ab 3 Jahren
und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen nicht den Stecker in die Steckdose
stecken, das Gerät nicht regulieren, das Gerät nicht reinigen
und/oder nicht die Wartung durch den Benutzer durchführen.

■ Vorsicht – Einige Teile des Produktes können sehr heiß wer-
den und Verbrennungen verursachen. Besondere Vorsicht
ist geboten, wenn Kinder und schutzbedürftige Personen
anwesend sind.
■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten
Fachbetrieben oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch
unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren
für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
■ Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile
ausgetauscht werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet,
dass die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllt werden.
■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen
von Flüssigkeiten.
■ Die Netzanschlussleitung immer am Anschlussstecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen, nicht an der Anschlussleitung.
■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von off enen Flammen betreiben.
■ Das Gerät darf nicht unmittelbar unter oder über einer Wand-
steckdose platziert werden.
■ Bei auftretenden Störungen und bei Gewitter den Anschluss-
stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
■ Das Gerät darf nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Bade-
wanne, einer Dusche oder eines Schwimmbeckens benutzt
werden.
■ Das Gerät ist so anzubringen, dass Schalter und andere
Regler nicht von einer sich in der Badewanne oder unter der
Dusche befi ndlichen Person berührt werden können.
■ Das Gerät keinem Spritz- und/oder Tropfwasser aussetzen
und keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände wie Vasen
oder off ene Getränke auf oder neben das Gerät stellen.

Inbetriebnahme
Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:
▯ Heizlüfter
▯ Diese Bedienungsanleitung
HINWEIS
Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
►
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit
►
des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken
zu können.
Anforderungen an den Aufstellort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort
folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
■ Das Gerät muss auf einem festen, fl achen und waagerechten Boden aufgestellt
werden.
■ Es sind zum Gehäuse Mindestabstände von 50 cm seitlich, 50 cm nach oben,
50 cm nach hinten und 100 cm nach vorne einzuhalten.
■ Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten Umgebung
oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material auf.
■ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass die Netzanschlussleitung
notfalls leicht abgezogen werden kann.
■ Umgebungs-Temperaturbereich: 0 bis +40°C
■ Luftfeuchtigkeit (keine Kondensation): 5 - 75 %

GEFAHR
Brandgefahr durch Materialkontakt!
Beim Kontakt des Gerätes mit brennbaren Materialien besteht
Brandgefahr!
► Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Vorhängen und anderen
brennbaren Materialien auf.
► Vermeiden Sie Berührungskontakt von brennbaren Materialien
(z.B. Textilien) mit dem Gerät.
► Decken Sie das Gerät nicht ab.
Vor dem Erstgebrauch
■ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und alle Transportsicherungen vom
Gerät.
HINWEIS
Beim Erstgebrauch kann es kurzzeitig zu leichter Geruchsbildung kommen.
►
Dies ist normal und völlig unbedenklich.
Elektrischer Anschluss
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise:
ACHTUNG
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten
►
(Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am
Gerät auftreten.
► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Netzanschlussleitung unbeschädigt ist und
nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nicht straff gespannt
oder geknickt wird.
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose.

Bedienung und Betrieb
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des
Gerätes.
Betriebsschalter
Der Betriebsschalter 4 hat 4 Positionen und schaltet den Ventilator und die
Heizstufen ein und aus.
= Gerät ausgeschaltet
= nur Ventilator
= Ventilator und Heizstufe 1
= Ventilator und Heizstufe 2
Temperaturregler
Der Temperaturregler 6 ist stufenlos einstellbar. Durch
Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn wird eine höhere Temperatur
eingestellt, durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn wird
eine niedrigere Temperatur eingestellt.
Ventilatorbetrieb
♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Betriebsschalter 4 auf der Position 0 (aus) steht.
♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 im Uhrzeigersinn ganz nach rechts.
♦ Stellen Sie den Betriebsschalter 4 auf die Position .
♦ Der Ventilator schaltet sich ein und die Betriebsleuchte 5 leuchtet rot.
Heizbetrieb
♦ Wenn das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb genommen wird oder wenn
Sie die gewünschte Temperatur erneut einstellen möchten, drehen Sie den
Temperaturregler 6 im Uhrzeigersinn ganz nach rechts.
♦ Stellen Sie mit dem Betriebsschalter 4 die gewünschte Betriebsart (I oder II) ein.
Temperatur einstellen
♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 zuerst ganz nach rechts.
♦ Hat der Raum die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht, drehen Sie langsam den
Temperaturregler 6 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, bis ein leichtes Klick-Geräusch
zu hören ist. Dies bedeutet, dass das Heizelement abgeschaltet ist.
♦ Das Heizelement wird jetzt vom Temperaturregler 6 automatisch ein- und
ausgeschaltet und die Temperatur wird konstant gehalten.

Überhitzungsschutz
Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet. Wenn das Gerät intern zu
heiß wird, schaltet sich das Heizelement automatisch aus. Sobald sich das Gerät
wieder abgekühlt hat, schaltet sich das Heizelement selbstständig wieder ein.
WARNUNG
Überhitzung hat in der Regel einen Grund! Sie kann
Brandgefahr bedeuten!
► Kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät seine Wärme ausreichend abgeben kann:
Ist das Gerät abgedeckt oder steht es zu dicht an einer Wand oder einem
anderen Hindernis? Sind die Gitter an der Vorder- oder Rückseite frei?
Wird der Ventilator blockiert?
► Beseitigen Sie, wenn möglich, das Problem oder wenden Sie sich an die
Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).
► Auch wenn Sie keine Ursache fi nden können, aber der Überhitzungsschutz
ein weiteres Mal auslöst, müssen Sie das Gerät zur Kontrolle bzw.
Reparatur an den Kundendienst schicken.
Kippsicherung
Das Gerät ist mit einem Sicherheitsschalter 3 ausgestattet. Sobald der Heizlüfter
umfällt, schaltet er sich automatisch aus. Der Heizlüfter schaltet sich erst wieder
ein, wenn dieser in aufrechter Position steht und der Sicherheitsschalter 3
dadurch betätigt ist.

WARNUNG
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um Gefahren und Sachschäden
zu vermeiden:
► Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich im ausgeschaltetem und kalten
Zustand.
ACHTUNG
Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes.
Eindringende Feuchtigkeit kann zu einer Beschädigung des Gerätes führen.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät
eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch und
einem milden Spülmittel.
■ Entfernen Sie Staubablagerungen am Schutzgitter mit einem Staubsauger.

Lagerung
■ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden.
■ Lagern Sie das Gerät in einer trockenen Umgebung.
Entsorgung
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über
Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.
Fehlerbehebung
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Störungslokalisierung und
Störungsbehebung.
WARNUNG
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um Gefahren und Sachschäden
zu vermeiden:
► Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten dürfen nur von Fachleuten durchgeführt werden,
die vom Hersteller geschult sind. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können
erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer und Schäden am Gerät entstehen.
Fehlerursachen und -behebung
Die nachfolgende Tabelle hilft bei der Lokalisierung und Behebung kleinerer
