Dieses Gerät ist nur zum Beheizen von geschlossenen Räumen bestimmt und nur für den privaten Gebrauch vorgesehen. Es kann als Zusatzheizung oder temporäre Heizmöglichkeit für kleinere Räume verwendet werden. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung in Räumen vorgesehen in denen besondere Bedingungen vorherrschen, wie z. B. korrosive oder explosionsfähige Atmosphäre (Staub, Dampf oder Gas). Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien. Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Betreiber.

Sicherheit

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät. Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.

Gerät nicht abdecken!

Abdecken des Gerätes kann zur Überhitzung und somit zur Entstehung eines Brandes führen!

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:

■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere

sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.

■ Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt ist/

wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualiﬁzierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie

von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

■ Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre sind fernzuhalten, es sei denn sie

werden ständig überwacht.

■ Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen das Gerät

nur ein- und ausschalten, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben, vorausgesetzt, dass das Gerät in seiner normalen Gebrauchslage platziert oder installiert ist. Kindern ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen nicht den Stecker in die Steckdose

stecken, das Gerät nicht regulieren, das Gerät nicht reinigen und/oder nicht die Wartung durch den Benutzer durchführen.

■ Vorsicht – Einige Teile des Produktes können sehr heiß werden

und Verbrennungen verursachen. Besondere Vorsicht ist geboten, wenn Kinder und schutzbedürftige Personen anwesend sind.

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachbe-

trieben oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile ausge-

tauscht werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet, dass die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllt werden.

■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen

von Flüssigkeiten.

■ Die Netzanschlussleitung immer am Anschlussstecker aus der

Steckdose ziehen, nicht an der Anschlussleitung.

■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von oﬀenen Flammen betreiben.

■ Das Gerät darf nicht unmittelbar unter oder über einer Wand-

steckdose platziert werden.

■ Bei auftretenden Störungen und bei Gewitter den Anschlussste-

cker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

■ Das Gerät darf nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Badewanne,

einer Dusche oder eines Schwimmbeckens benutzt werden.

■ Das Gerät ist so anzubringen, dass Schalter und andere Regler

nicht von einer sich in der Badewanne oder unter der Dusche beﬁndlichen Person berührt werden können.

■ Das Gerät keinem Spritz- und/oder Tropfwasser aussetzen und

keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände wie Vasen oder oﬀene Getränke auf oder neben das Gerät stellen.

Inbetriebnahme

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden. ► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter Verpa-

ckung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

Ŷ Das Gerät muss auf einem festen, ﬂachen und waagerechten Boden aufgestellt werden. Ŷ Es sind zum Gehäuse Mindestabstände von 50 cm seitlich, 50 cm nach oben,

50 cm nach hinten und 100 cm nach vorne einzuhalten.

Ŷ Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten Umgebung oder in der

Nähe von brennbarem Material auf.

Ŷ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass die Netzanschlussleitung notfalls leicht

abgezogen werden kann.

Ŷ Umgebungs-Temperaturbereich: 0 bis +40°C Ŷ Luftfeuchtigkeit (keine Kondensation): 5 - 75 %

GEFAHR

Brandgefahr durch Materialkontakt! Beim Kontakt des Gerätes mit brennbaren Materialien besteht Brandgefahr!

► Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Vorhängen und anderen brennbaren

Materialien auf.

► Vermeiden Sie Berührungskontakt von brennbaren Materialien (z. B. Textilien) mit

dem Gerät.

► Decken Sie das Gerät nicht ab.

Vor dem Erstgebrauch

Ŷ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und alle Transportsicherungen vom Gerät.

HINWEIS

► Beim Erstgebrauch kann es kurzzeitig zu leichter Geruchsbildung kommen. Dies ist

normal und völlig unbedenklich.

Elektrischer Anschluss

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise:

ACHTUNG

► Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten (Spannung

und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Netzanschlussleitung unbeschädigt ist und nicht über

heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nicht straﬀ gespannt oder geknickt

wird.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose.

Bedienung und Betrieb

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des Gerätes.

Betriebsschalter

Der Betriebsschalter 4 hat 4 Positionen und schaltet den Ventilator und die Heizstufen ein und aus.

= Gerät ausgeschaltet = nur Ventilator = Ventilator und Heizstufe 1 = Ventilator und Heizstufe 2

Temperaturregler

Der Temperaturregler 6 ist stufenlos einstellbar. Durch Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn wird eine höhere Temperatur eingestellt, durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn wird eine niedrigere Temperatur eingestellt.

Ventilatorbetrieb

♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Betriebsschalter 4 auf der Position 0 (aus) steht. ♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler ♦ Stellen Sie den Betriebsschalter ♦ Der Ventilator schaltet sich ein und die Betriebsleuchte

♦ Stellen Sie mit dem Betriebsschalter

die gewünschte Betriebsart (I oder II) ein.

Temperatur einstellen

♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 zuerst ganz nach rechts. ♦ Hat der Raum die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht, drehen Sie langsam den Temperatur-

regler bedeutet, dass das Heizelement abgeschaltet ist.

♦ Das Heizelement wird jetzt vom Temperaturregler

und die Temperatur wird konstant gehalten.

Überhitzungsschutz

Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet. Wenn das Gerät intern zu heiß wird, schaltet sich das Heizelement automatisch aus. Sobald sich das Gerät wieder abgekühlt hat, schaltet sich das Heizelement selbstständig wieder ein.

WARNUNG

Überhitzung hat in der Regel einen Grund! Sie kann Brandgefahr bedeuten!

► Kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät seine Wärme ausreichend abgeben kann: Ist das

Gerät abgedeckt oder steht es zu dicht an einer Wand oder einem anderen Hindernis? Sind die Gitter an der Vorder- oder Rückseite frei? Wird der Ventilator blockiert?

► Beseitigen Sie, wenn möglich, das Problem oder wenden Sie sich an die Service-

Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).

► Auch wenn Sie keine Ursache ﬁnden können, aber der Überhitzungsschutz ein

weiteres Mal auslöst, müssen Sie das Gerät zur Kontrolle bzw. Reparatur an den Kundendienst schicken.

Kippsicherung

Das Gerät ist mit einem Sicherheitsschalter 3 ausgestattet. Sobald der Heizlüfter umfällt, schaltet er sich automatisch aus. Der Heizlüfter schaltet sich erst wieder ein, wenn dieser in aufrechter Position steht und der Sicherheitsschalter 3 dadurch betätigt ist.

Reinigung

WARNUNG

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um Gefahren und Sachschäden zu vermeiden:

► Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich im ausgeschaltetem und kalten Zustand.

ACHTUNG

Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes.

Eindringende Feuchtigkeit kann zu einer Beschädigung des Gerätes führen.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eindringt,

um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

Ŷ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch und einem milden

Spülmittel.

Ŷ Entfernen Sie Staubablagerungen am Schutzgitter mit einem Staubsauger.

Lagerung

Ŷ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden. Ŷ Lagern Sie das Gerät in einer trockenen Umgebung.

Entsorgung

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Fehlerbehebung

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Störungslokalisierung und Störungsbehebung.

WARNUNG

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um Gefahren und Sachschäden zu vermeiden:

► Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten dürfen nur von Fachleuten durchgeführt werden, die

vom Hersteller geschult sind. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer und Schäden am Gerät entstehen.

Fehlerursachen und -behebung

Die nachfolgende Tabelle hilft bei der Lokalisierung und Behebung kleinerer Störungen:

Steckdose liefert keine Spannung.

Betriebsschalter 4 ist nicht eingeschaltet. Temperaturregler 6 steht auf MINPosition. Heizelement defekt.

Überprüfen Sie die Haussicherungen.

Safety

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling of the appliance. This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.

Do not cover the appliance!

Covering the appliance can lead to overheating and thus result in a ﬁre!

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

■ Before use check the appliance for visible external damage.

Do not put into operation an appliance that is damaged or has been dropped.

■ If the appliance‘s mains power cable is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer‘s customer service department or by a qualiﬁed technician, so that risks can be prevented.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

■ Children younger than three years old should be kept away

from the appliance unless they are constantly monitored.

■ Children older than 3 and younger 8 years of age may only

switch the appliance on and oﬀ if they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers, provided that the appliance is located or installed in its normal operating position. Children older than 3 and younger than 8 years of age may not plug in, regulate or clean the appliance and may not carry out user maintenance tasks.

■ Caution – some parts of the product may be very hot and

cause burns. Be particularly careful when children and vulnerable persons are present.

■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist

companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incompetent repairs can result in signiﬁcant risks for the user. In addition, warranty claims become void.

■ Defective components may only be replaced with original

replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts can it be assured that the safety requirements are being complied with.

■ Protect the appliance against moisture and liquid penetration.

■ Always disconnect the power cable from the mains power

socket with the plug, never pull on the cable.

■ Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of open ﬂames.

■ The appliance must not be placed immediately under or over a

mains power socket.

■ In the event of malfunctions and during thunderstorms

disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.

■ The appliance must not be used in the immediate vicinity of a

bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

■ The appliance is to be installed so that a person in the bath or

shower is unable to touch the switch and other controls.

■ Do not subject the appliance to spray and/or dripping water

and do not place any objects ﬁlled with liquid, such as vases or open drink containers, on or near the appliance.

Initial use

NOTICE

► Check the contents to ensure everything is available and for signs of visible damage. ► If the delivery is not complete or is damaged due to defective packaging or through

transportation contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations.

Requirements on the set-up location

For safe and faultless operation of the appliance the set-up location must satisfy the following criteria:

Ŷ The appliance must be placed on a ﬁrm, ﬂat and horizontal surface. Ŷ Minimum spacings to the housing of 50 cm to the sides, 50 cm above, 50 cm

to the rear and 100 cm to the front must be maintained.

Ŷ Do not place the appliance in a hot, wet or very moist environment or in the

vicinity of ﬂammable materials.

Ŷ The mains power socket must be easily accessable so that, in an emergency,

the mains power cable can be easily disconnected.

Fire risk through contact with materials! The risk of ﬁre exists if the heating elements come into contact with

ﬂammable materials!

► Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of curtains and other ﬂammable materials. ► Do not allow ﬂammable materials (i.e. draperies) to come into contact with the

appliance.

► Do not cover the appliance.

Before initial use

Ŷ Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing appliances from the appliance.

NOTICE

► With initial use, for a brief period, a light odour accumulation can occur. This is

normal and completely harmless.

Electrical connection

For safe and faultless operation of the appliance after electrical connection observe the following advice:

► Before connecting the appliance compare the connection data (voltage and frequency)

on the rating plate with that of your mains power supply. This data must be in agreement so as to avoid damage to the appliance.

► Make sure that the mains power cable is not damaged and is not running over hot

surfaces and/or sharp edges.

► Make sure that the mains power cable is not stretched or knotted.

Handling and operation

In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation of the appliance.

Operating switch

The operating switch 4 has 4 positions and switches the ventilator and the heating levels on and oﬀ.

= Appliance switched oﬀ = only ventilator = Ventilator and heating level 1 = Ventilator and heating level 2

Temperature regulator

The temperature regulator 6 is steplessly adjustable. By turning it clockwise a higher temperature is set, by turning it anticlockwise a lower temperature will be set.

♦ Ensure that the operating switch 4 is at position 0 (oﬀ). ♦ Turn the temperature regulator ♦ Set the operating switch 4 to the position . ♦ The fan heater turns on and the operating light

Overheating protection

The appliance is ﬁtted with a overheating protector. Should the appliance become too hot internally, the heating element switches itself oﬀ automatically. Once the appliance has cooled itself down, the heating element switches back on automatically.

WARNING As a general rule, overheating has a reason! It can mean a risk of ﬁre!

► Check that the appliance can suﬃciently disburse the heat generated:

Is the appliance covered or is it too close to a wall or other obstacle? Are the grilles on the front or back clear? Is the ventilator blocked?

► If possible, eliminate the problem or contact the Service Hotline (see Chapter Service). ► Even if you cannot ﬁnd a cause, but the overheating protection triggers a second

time, you must return the appliance to Customer Services for inspection or repair.

Tilt cut-out

This Fan Heater is ﬁtted with a safety switch 3. Should the Fan Heater tip over, it switches itself oﬀ automatically. The Fan Heater ﬁrst switches itself on again when it is in an upright position and the safety switch 3 is actuated.

Cleaning

WARNING

Observe the following safety information to avoid risks and property damage:

► Only clean the appliance when it is switched oﬀ and cold.

IMPORTANT

Possible damage to the appliance.

Penetrating moisture can lead to the appliance becoming damaged.

► When you are cleaning the appliance ensure that no moisture can get inside, so as

to avoid irreparable damage to it.

Ŷ Clean the housing exclusively with a soft damp cloth and a mild dishwashing liquid. Ŷ Remove dust deposits on the protective screen with a vacuum cleaner.

Storage

Ŷ Disconnect the mains power plug if you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended

period of time.

Ŷ Store the appliance in a dry environment.

■ Conﬁez les réparations de l‘appareil exclusivement à des

entreprises agréées ou au service après-vente. Toute réparation non conforme peut entraîner des risques importants pour l‘utilisateur. À cela s‘ajoute l‘annulation de la garantie.

■ Les pièces défectueuses doivent être remplacées impérative-

ment par des pièces de rechange d‘origine. Elles sont en eﬀet les seules à pouvoir garantir que les exigences de sécurité seront satisfaites.

■ Protégez l‘appareil de l‘humidité et de la pénétration de liqui-

des.

■ Débrancher l‘appareil en tirant la ﬁche mâle de la prise

secteur, et non pas en tirant sur le cordon.

■ Ne pas utiliser l‘appareil à proximité de ﬂammes nues.

■ Ne pas placer l‘appareil directement sous une prise électrique

murale ou directement au-dessus.

■ Débrancher l‘appareil en cas de perturbations sur le réseau ou

par temps d‘orage.

Mise en service

L’appareil est livré équipé standard avec les composants suivants:

► Vériﬁez si la livraison est au complet et ne présente aucun dégât apparent. ► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage défec-

tueux ou du transport, veuillez-vous adresser à la hotline du service après-vente (voir le chapitre Service après-vente).

Élimination de l’emballage

L’emballage protège l’appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport. Les matériaux d’emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de l’environnement et de recyclage permettant leur élimination écologique.

Le recyclage de l’emballage en ﬁlière de revalorisation permet d’économiser des matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d’emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la réglementation locale.

Exigences requises sur le lieu d’installation

Pour assurer un fonctionnement ﬁable et sans défaillances de l’appareil, le lieu d’installation doit répondre aux conditions suivantes:

Ŷ L’appareil doit être installé sur un sol solide, plat et horizontal. Ŷ Il faut respecter une distance minimale de 50cm sur les côtés, de 50cm vers le haut, de

50cm vers l’arrière et de 100cm vers l’avant.

Ŷ N’installez pas l’appareil dans un environnement très chaud, mouillé ou très humide ou à

proximité de matériaux combustibles.

Ŷ La prise électrique doit être facilement accessible aﬁn de pouvoir débrancher rapidement

la ﬁche mâle en cas d’urgence.

Avant la première utilisation

Raccordement électrique

Suivre les recommandations suivantes concernant le raccordement électrique pour assurer le fonctionnement de l’appareil sans incidents:

ATTENTION

► Avant de raccorder l'appareil, comparez les données de raccordement (tension et

fréquence) indiquées sur la plaque signalétique avec celles de votre secteur électrique. Ces données doivent correspondre aﬁn de ne pas endommager l'appareil.

► Assurez-vous que le cordon d'alimentation n'est pas endommagé, qu'il ne repose pas

sur des surfaces chaudes et/ou ne frotte pas sur des arêtes vives.

► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit pas fortement tendu ou replié.

♦ Branchez la ﬁche secteur dans une prise.

Utilisation et fonctionnement

Ce chapitre contient des remarques importantes sur l’utilisation et le fonctionnement de l’appareil.

Interrupteur de service

L’interrupteur de service 4 a 4 positions pour allumer et éteindre le ventilateur et régler les niveaux de chauﬀage.

Thermostat

Le thermostat 6 peut être réglé en continu. Il suﬃt de tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour régler une température supérieure ; en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre, une température inférieure est réglée.

Modes du ventilateur

♦ Commencez par tourner le thermostat 6 entièrement vers la droite. ♦ Dès que la pièce a atteint la température souhaitée, tournez lentement le thermostat

dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre, jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un léger

clic. Cela signiﬁe que l’élément chauﬀant est désactivé.

♦ Maintenant, l’élément chauﬀant est automatiquement allumé et éteint par le thermostat

et la température est maintenue à un niveau constant.

Protection anti-surchauﬀe

L’appareil est doté d’une protection anti-surchauﬀe. Si l’intérieur de l’appareil surchauﬀe, ce dernier s’éteint automatiquement. Dès que l’appareil s’est refroidi, la résistance chauﬀante se rallume automatiquement.

AVERTISSEMENT

Toute surchauﬀe a généralement une raison bien précise! Elle peut signiﬁer un risque d'incendie!

► Contrôlez si l'appareil est en mesure de diﬀuser suﬃsamment sa chaleur: l'appareil

est-il recouvert ou est-il trop proche d'un mur ou d'un autre obstacle ? Les grilles à l'avant et à l'arrière sont-elles dégagées ? Le ventilateur est-il bloqué ?

► Dans la mesure du possible, veuillez éliminer le problème ou adressez-vous à la

hotline du service après-vente (cf. le chapitre Service après-vente).

► Si vous ne parvenez pas à trouver l'origine, mais que la protection anti-surchauﬀe se

déclenche une nouvelle fois, vous devez envoyer l'appareil au service après-vente pour contrôle ou réparation.

Sécurité anti-basculement

L’appareil est équipé d’un disjoncteur de sécurité 3. Dès que le radiateur souﬄant bascule, il s’éteint automatiquement. Le ventilateur chauﬀant ne se rallume qu’une fois revenu en position verticale, ce qui a pour eﬀet de réarmer le disjoncteur de sécurité 3.

Nettoyage

AVERTISSEMENT

Respectez les consignes de sécurité suivantes pour éviter tous dangers et dégâts matériels:

► Toujours faire le nettoyage lorsque l'appareil est hors tension et froid.

ATTENTION

Risque d'endommager l'appareil.

La pénétration d'humidité peut endommager l'appareil.

► Lors du nettoyage de l'appareil, veillez à ce qu'aucune humidité ne pénètre dans ce

dernier aﬁn d'éviter tous dégâts irréparables.

Ŷ Nettoyez le boîtier exclusivement à l’aide d’un chiﬀon humecté et d’un liquide vaisselle

doux.

Ŷ Éliminez avec un aspirateur les dépôts de poussières sur la grille de protection.

Stockage

Ŷ Débranchez l’appareil si celui-ci ne doit pas servir pendant une longue période. Ŷ Stockez l’appareil dans un environnement sec.

Mise au rebut

Ne jetez en aucun cas l’appareil avec les ordures ménagères normales. Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2012/19/EU -DEEE (déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques).

Éliminez l’appareil par l’intermédiaire d’une entreprise de traitement des déchets autorisée ou via le service de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la réglementation en vigueur. En cas de doute, veuillez contacter votre centre de recyclage.

Hartelijk gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw nieuwe apparaat. U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een hoogwaardig product. De gebruiksaanwijzing maakt deel

uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor veiligheid, gebruik en afvoer. Lees alle bedienings- en veiligheidsvoorschriften voordat u het product in gebruik neemt. Gebruik het product uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Geef alle documenten mee als u het product overdraagt aan een derde.

Gebruik in overeenstemming met bestemming

Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor het verwarmen van gesloten ruimtes en uitsluitend voor privégebruik. Het kan als extra verwarming of tijdelijke verwarmingsmogelijkheid voor kleinere ruimtes worden gebruikt. Het apparaat is niet voor gebruik in ruimtes waarin speciale omstandigheden heersen, zoals bijv. een corrosieve of explosiegevaarlijke atmosfeer (stof, damp of gas). Gebruik het apparaat niet in de openlucht. Een ander of verdergaand gebruik geldt als niet in overeenstemming met de bestemming. Alle mogelijke claims wegens schade door gebruik dat niet volgens de bestemming is, zijn uitgesloten. Het risico ligt uitsluitend bij de gebruiker.

Waarschuwingen

In deze gebruiksaanwijzing worden de volgende waarschuwingen gebruikt:

GEVAAR

Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een dreigende, gevaarlijke situatie.

Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit de dood of ernstig letsel tot gevolg hebben.

► Neem de aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing in acht om gevaar voor fataal of

ernstig letsel van personen te voorkomen.

WAARSCHUWING

Een waarschuwing met dit gevaarniveau duidt op een mogelijk gevaarlijke situatie.

Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit letsel tot gevolg hebben.

Veiligheid

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke veiligheidsvoorschriften voor de omgang met het apparaat. Dit apparaat voldoet aan de gestelde veiligheidsvoorschriften. Een verkeerd gebruik kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel en materiële schade.

Apparaat niet afdekken!

Afdekken van het apparaat kan oververhitting tot gevolg hebben, waardoor er brand kan ontstaan!

Basisveiligheidsvoorschriften

Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht voor een veilige omgang met het apparaat:

■ Controleer het apparaat vóór gebruik op zichtbare schade aan de

buitenzijde. Gebruik geen apparaat dat beschadigd of gevallen is.

■ Als het netsnoer van het apparaat beschadigd raakt, moet dit

door de fabrikant, de klantenservice of een andere bevoegde persoon worden vervangen om gevaar te voorkomen.

■ Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8jaar

en door personen met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit voortkomende gevaren hebben begrepen. Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen. Kinderen mogen zonder toezicht geen reiniging en gebruikersonderhoud uitvoeren.

■ Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar moeten uit de buurt blijven, tenzij

ze voortdurend onder toezicht staan.

■ Kinderen vanaf 3 jaar en jonger dan 8jaar mogen het ap-

paraat slechts in- en uitschakelen als ze onder toezicht staan of geïnstrueerd zijn over het veilig gebruik van het apparaat en de daaruit voortvloeiende risico‘s begrepen hebben, op voorwaarde dat het apparaat in zijn normale positie geplaatst of geïnstalleerd is. Kinderen vanaf 3 jaar en jonger dan 8jaar mogen de stekker niet in het stopcontact steken, het apparaat niet regelen, het apparaat niet reinigen en/of het gebruikersonderhoud uitvoeren.

■ Voorzichtig – enkele delen van het product kunnen zeer heet

worden en brandwonden veroorzaken. Bijzondere voorzichtigheid is geboden wanneer kinderen of kwetsbare personen aanwezig zijn.

■ Laat reparaties aan het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door geauto-

riseerde vakbedrijven of door de klantenservice. Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen resulteren in aanzienlijke risico‘s voor de gebruiker. Bovendien vervalt dan de garantie.

■ Defecte onderdelen mogen alleen worden vervangen door

originele reserveonderdelen. Alleen bij deze onderdelen is gegarandeerd dat aan de veiligheidseisen wordt voldaan.

■ Bescherm het apparaat tegen vocht en het binnendringen van

vloeistoﬀen.

■ Trek het netsnoer altijd aan de stekker uit het stopcontact, niet

aan het netsnoer zelf.

■ Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van open vuur.

■ Het apparaat mag niet direct onder of boven een wandcontact-

doos worden geplaatst.

■ Trek bij storingen en bij onweer de stekker uit het stopcontact.

■ Het apparaat mag niet in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van een

badkuip, een douche of een zwembad worden gebruikt.

■ Het apparaat moet zodanig worden geplaatst dat schakelaars

en andere regelaars niet door een zich in bad of onder de douche bevindende persoon kunnen worden aangeraakt.

■ Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan spatwater en/of waterdrup-

pels en plaats geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen zoals vazen of geopende dranken op of naast het apparaat.

Ingebruikname

Inhoud van het pakket en inspectie na transport

Het apparaat wordt standaard met de volgende componenten geleverd:

OPMERKING

► Controleer of het pakket compleet is en of er geen sprake is van zichtbare schade. ► Neem contact op met de servicehelpdesk (zie het hoofdstuk Service) als het pakket

niet compleet is, of indien er sprake is van schade door gebrekkige verpakking of transport.

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen op grond van milieuvriendelijkheid en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop betekent een besparing op grondstoﬀen en zorgt voor minder afval. Voer niet meer benodigde verpakkingsmaterialen af conform de plaatselijk geldende voorschriften.

Eisen aan de plaats van opstelling

Voor een veilige en storingsvrije werking van het apparaat moet de plaatsingslocatie aan de volgende voorwaarden voldoen:

Ŷ Het apparaat moet worden geplaatst op een stevige, vlakke ondergrond die waterpas is. Ŷ Ten opzichte van de behuizing moeten de volgende minimale afstanden worden aange-

houden: 50 cm aan de zijkanten, 50 cm aan de bovenkant, 50 cm aan de achterkant en 100 cm aan de voorkant.

Ŷ Plaats het apparaat niet in een hete, natte of zeer vochtige omgeving of in de buurt van

brandbare materialen.

Ŷ Het stopcontact moet goed toegankelijk zijn, zodat de stekker van het netsnoer indien

nodig makkelijk uit het stopcontact kan worden getrokken.

Ŷ Bereik omgevingstemperatuur: 0 tot +40 °C Ŷ Luchtvochtigheid (geen condensatie): 5 - 75%

GEVAAR

Brandgevaar door materiaalcontact! Bij contact van het apparaat met brandbare materialen bestaat er

brandgevaar!

► Plaats het apparaat niet in de buurt van gordijnen en andere brandbare materialen. ► Voorkom contact van brandbare materialen (bijv. stoﬀen) met het apparaat. ► Dek het apparaat niet af.

Voorafgaand aan het eerste gebruik

Ŷ Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen en alle transportbeveiligingen van het product.

OPMERKING

► Bij het eerste gebruik kan het apparaat korte tijd een lichte geur afgeven.

Dit is normaal en volledig onschadelijk.

Elektrische aansluiting

Neem bij de elektrische aansluiting voor een veilig en storingvrij bedrijf van het apparaat de volgende aanwijzingen in acht:

LET OP

► Vergelijk voordat u het apparaat aansluit, de aansluitgegevens (spanning en frequentie)

op het typeplaatje met die van uw lichtnet. Deze gegevens moeten overeenkomen, zodat het apparaat niet beschadigd raakt.

► Controleer of het netsnoer onbeschadigd is en niet over hete vlakken en/of scherpe

randen ligt.

► Let erop dat het netsnoer niet strak gespannen wordt en niet knikt.

♦ Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.

Bediening en gebruik

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke aanwijzingen voor de bediening en het gebruik van het apparaat.

Bedrijfsschakelaar

De bedrijfsschakelaar 4 heeft 4 posities. Hiermee schakelt u de ventilator en de verwarmingsstanden in en uit.

Temperatuurregelaar

De temperatuurregelaar 6 is traploos instelbaar. Door de regelaar met de wijzers van de klok mee te draaien wordt een hogere temperatuur ingesteld, door de regelaar tegen de wijzers van de klok in te draaien wordt een lagere temperatuur ingesteld.

Ventilatorbedrijf

♦ Controleer of de bedrijfsschakelaar 4 op de stand 0 (uit) staat. ♦ Draai de temperatuurregelaar ♦ Zet de bedrijfsschakelaar ♦ De ventilator wordt ingeschakeld en het indicatielampje

Verwarmingsbedrijf

♦ Wanneer het apparaat voor het eerst in gebruik wordt genomen of wanneer u de

♦ Stel met de bedrijfsschakelaar

Temperatuur instellen

♦ Draai de temperatuurregelaar 6 eerst helemaal naar rechts. ♦ Als de ruimte de gewenste temperatuur heeft bereikt, draait u de temperatuurregelaar

langzaam dat het verwarmingselement is uitgeschakeld.

♦ Het verwarmingselement wordt nu door de temperatuurregelaar

uitgeschakeld en de temperatuur wordt constant gehouden.

Oververhittingsbeveiliging

Het apparaat is voorzien van een oververhittingsbeveiliging. Wanneer het binnenste van het apparaat te heet wordt, wordt het verwarmingselement automatisch uitgeschakeld. Zodra het apparaat weer is afgekoeld, wordt het verwarmingselement automatisch weer ingeschakeld.

WAARSCHUWING

Oververhitting heeft in de regel een reden! Het kan brandgevaar betekenen!

► Controleer of het apparaat zijn warmte voldoende kan afgeven. Is het apparaat

afgedekt of staat het te dicht bij een wand of een ander obstakel? Zijn de roosters aan de voor- en achterkant vrij? Wordt de ventilator geblokkeerd?

► Los indien mogelijk het probleem op of neem contact op met de service-hotline

(zie het hoofdstuk Service).

► Wanneer u geen oorzaak kunt vinden terwijl de oververhittingsbeveiliging opnieuw

wordt geactiveerd, moet u het apparaat ter controle resp. reparatie aan de klantendienst opsturen.

Omvalbeveiliging

Het apparaat is voorzien van een veiligheidsschakelaar 3. Zodra de ventilatiekachel omvalt, slaat hij automatisch af. De ventilatiekachel treedt weer in werking wanneer deze rechtop staat en de veiligheidsschakelaar 3 daardoor geactiveerd is.

Reinigen

WAARSCHUWING

Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht om gevaren en materiële schade te voorkomen:

► Reinig het apparaat uitsluitend in uitgeschakelde en afgekoelde toestand.

LET OP

Mogelijke beschadiging van het apparaat.

Door binnendringend vocht kan het apparaat beschadigd raken.

► Zorg ervoor dat er geen vocht in het apparaat binnendringt tijdens het reinigen, om

onherstelbare schade aan het apparaat te voorkomen.

Ŷ Reinig de behuizing uitsluitend met een licht bevochtigde doek en een mild afwasmiddel. Ŷ Verwijder stofophopingen bij het beschermrooster met een stofzuiger.

Opbergen

Ŷ Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer u het apparaat langere tijd niet gebruikt. Ŷ Berg het apparaat op in een droge omgeving.

Afvoeren

Deponeer het apparaat in geen geval bij het gewone huisvuil. Dit product is onderworpen aan de Europese richtlijn 2012/19/EU AEEA (afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur).

In dit hoofdstuk staan belangrijke aanwijzingen voor het opsporen en verhelpen van storingen.

WAARSCHUWING

Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht om gevaren en materiële schade te voorkomen:

► Reparaties van elektrische apparaten mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door

vakmensen die door de fabrikant zijn geschoold. Onvakkundige reparaties kunnen

aanzienlijke gevaren voor de gebruiker en schade aan het apparaat tot gevolg

hebben.

Zakrytí přístroje může vést kjeho přehřátí a tím ke vzniku požáru!

Základní bezpečnostní pokyny

Pro bezpečnou manipulaci spřístrojem dodržujte následující bezpečnostní pokyny:

■ Zkontrolujte přístroj před použitím, zda na něm nejsou vnější

viditelná poškození. Poškozený nebo na zem spadlý přístroj neuvádějte do provozu.

■ Jakmile se síťový kabel poškodí, musí jej výrobce, příslušný

zákaznický servis nebo podobná kvaliﬁkovaná osoba vyměnit, a to z důvodu zabránění hrozícím škodám.

■ Děti starší osmi let a osoby s omezenými fyzickými,

smyslovými nebo duševními schopnostmi nebo nedostatkem zkušeností a znalostí, mohou používat toto zařízení pouze tehdy, pokud jsou pod dohledem nebo pokud byly poučeni o jeho bezpečném používání a pokud porozuměly z toho vyplývajícím nebezpečím. Děti se nesmí hrát s přístrojem. Čištění a uživatelskou údržbu nesmí provádět děti bez dozoru.

■ Děti mladší 3 let nesmí mít přístup k přístroji, ledaže jsou pod

stálým dohledem.

■ Děti od 3 let a mladší 8 let smějí přístroj zapínat a vypínat

pouze tehdy, pokud jsou pod dohledem nebo pokud byly poučeny o bezpečném používání přístroje a pokud porozuměly z toho vyplývajícímu nebezpečí, za předpokladu, že přístroj je umístěn nebo instalován ve své normální provozní poloze. Děti od 3 let a mladší 8 let nesmějí zasunovat zástrčku do zásuvky, regulovat přístroj, čistit přístroj a/nebo provádět jeho uživatelskou údržbu.

■ Pozor! – Některé části výrobku mohou být velmi horké a

způsobit popálení. Zvláštní opatrnosti je třeba, když jsou přítomny děti a osoby vyžadující dohled.

■ Opravy na přístroji nechte provádět pouze autorizovanými

odbornými podniky nebo zákaznickým servisem. Neodborné opravy mohou vést kvzniku závažných nebezpečí pro uživatele. Navíc zanikají i záruční nároky.

■ Vadné konstrukční díly se smějí nahradit pouze originálními

náhradními díly. Pouze utěchto dílů je zaručeno, že budou splněny bezpečnostní požadavky.

■ Chraňte přístroj před vlhkostí a pronikáním kapalin.

■ Síťový kabel vytáhněte ze zásuvky vždy tahem za zástrčku, ne

za kabel.

■ Přístroj nikdy nepoužívejte vblízkosti otevřeného ohně.

■ Přístroj se nesmí umístit přímo pod nebo nad zásuvkou.

■ Vpřípadě vzniklých poruch a za bouřky vytáhněte zástrčku ze

zásuvky.

■ Přístroj se nesmí používat vbezprostřední blízkosti vany, sprchy

nebo bazénu.

■ Přístroj se musí instalovat tak, aby se osoba ve vaně nebo ve

sprše nemohla dotknout přepínačů a dalších ovládacích prvků.

■ Přístroj se nesmí postříkat a/nebo vystavovat kapající vodě a

také se na něj nebo vedle něj nesmí stavět předměty naplněné kapalinou, jako jsou např. vázy nebo otevřené nápoje.

Uvedení do provozu

Rozsah dodávky a kontrola po přepravě

Přístroj se standardně dodává snásledujícími komponenty:

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Zkontrolujte dodávku zhlediska kompletnosti a viditelných poškození. ► Vpřípadě neúplné dodávky nebo poškození vzniklého vdůsledku vadného obalu

nebo transportem kontaktujte servisní horkou linku (viz kapitola Servis).

Likvidace obalového materiálu

Obal chrání přístroj před poškozením při přepravě. Obalový materiál je zvolen podle ekologického a likvidačně technického hlediska, a proto jej lze recyklovat.

Navrácení obalu do oběhu zpracování materiálu šetří suroviny a snižuje produkci odpadů. Již nepotřebný obalový materiál zlikvidujte podle místně platných předpisů.

Požadavky na místo instalace

Pro bezpečný a nezávadný provoz přístroje musí místo provozu splňovat následující požadavky:

Ŷ Přístroj musí být nainstalován na pevný, plochý a vodorovný povrch. Ŷ Je třeba dodržovat tyto minimální odstupy od krytu: zboku 50cm, shora 50cm, zezadu

50cm a zepředu 100cm.

Ŷ Přístroj nikdy nestavte do horkého, mokrého nebo velmi vlhkého prostředí nebo do blízkosti

hořlavého materiálu.

Ŷ Zásuvka musí být snadno přístupná, aby bylo vpřípadě potřeby možné napájecí kabel

snadno odpojit.

Ŷ Rozsah teploty okolí: 0 až +40°C Ŷ Vlhkost vzduchu (bez kondenzace): 5 - 75%

NEBEZPEČÍ

Nebezpečí požáru vdůsledku kontaktu sjiným materiálem! Při kontaktu přístroje shořlavým materiálem hrozí nebezpečí požáru!

► Nestavte přístroj do blízkosti záclon či závěsů a jiných hořlavých materiálů.

► Zabraňte kontaktu přístroje shořlavými materiály (např. textil).

► Přístroj nikdy nezakrývejte.

Před prvním použitím

Ŷ Odstraňte zpřístroje všechen obalový materiál a všechny přepravní šrouby a zajištění.

Při prvním použití může dojít ke krátkému mírnému zápachu. To je normální a

Elektrické zapojení

Pro bezpečnou a správnou funkci přístroje dodržujte uelektrického zapojení následující pokyny:

► Před zapojením přístroje porovnejte přípojná data (napětí a frekvenci) uvedená

na výrobním štítku sdaty vaší elektrické sítě. Tyto údaje se musí shodovat, aby na přístroji nedošlo kžádným škodám.

► Ujistěte se, zda není napájecí kabel poškozený a zda není položen přes horké

povrchy a/nebo ostré hrany.

► Dbejte na to, aby síťové přípojné vedení nebylo příliš napnuté nebo ohnuté.

♦ Zasuňte zástrčku do zásuvky.

Přepínač provozu 4 má 4polohy a zapíná a vypíná ventilátor a stupně topení.

Regulátor teploty

Regulátor teploty 6 je plynule nastavitelný. Otáčením ve směru hodinových ručiček se nastavuje vyšší teplota, otáčením proti směru hodinových ručiček se nastavuje teplota nižší.

♦ Ubezpečte se, zda se přepínač provozu 4 nachází vpozici0 (vyp). ♦ Otočte regulátorem teploty ♦ Nastavte přepínač provozu 4 na pozici . ♦ Ventilátor se zapne a kontrolka provozu

Ochrana proti přehřátí

Přístroj je vybaven ochranou proti přehřátí. Pokud dojde k vnitřnímu přehřívání přístroje, pak se topný článek automaticky vypne. Jakmile se přístroj zase ochladí, topný článek se samočinně opět zapne.

VÝSTRAHA

Přehřátí má zpravidla nějaký důvod! Může znamenat nebezpečí požáru!

► Zkontrolujte, zda přístroji něco vdostatečném předávání tepla nebrání: Je přístroj za-

krytý nebo je umístěný příliš blízko stěny nebo jiné překážky? Jsou mřížky na přední a zadní straně volné? Je ventilátor blokován?

► Problém pokud možno odstraňte nebo se obraťte na servisní horkou linku (viz

kapitola Servis).

► V případě, že ochrana proti přehřátí přístroj opakovaně vypíná a vy nemůžete najít

žádnou příčinu, je nutno zaslat přístroj ke kontrole, resp. opravě do servisu.

Ochrana před překlopením

Přístroj je vybaven bezpečnostním spínačem 3. Dojde-li kpřeklopení horkovzdušného ventilátoru, automaticky se vypne. Ventilátor se opět zapne teprve tehdy, když je ve vzpřímené poloze, takže je bezpečnostní spínač 3 aktivní.

Čištění

VÝSTRAHA

Dodržujte následující bezpečnostní pokyny komezení vzniku nebezpečí a poškození přístroje:

► Čistěte přístroj pouze ve vypnutém a ochlazeném stavu.

POZOR

Možné poškození přístroje.

Vniklá vlhkost může vést kpoškození přístroje.

► Ubezpečte se, že při čištění nemůže vniknout do přístroje kapalina, aby se tak zabrá-

nilo jeho nenapravitelnému poškození.

Ŷ Kryt přístroje čistěte výhradně mírně navlhčeným hadříkem a jemným čisticím prostředkem. Ŷ Prach usazený na ochranné mřížce odstraňte pomocí vysavače.

Skladování

Ŷ Jestliže nebudete přístroj delší dobu používat, vytáhněte síťovou zástrčku ze zásuvky. Ŷ Skladujte přístroj vsuchém prostředí.

Likvidace

Vžádném případě nevyhazujte přístroj do normálního domovního odpadu. Tento výrobek podléhá evropské směrnici č. 2012/19/EU OEEZ (oodpadních elektrických a elektronických zařízeních).

Přístroj předejte klikvidaci odborné ﬁrmě nebo využijte možnost likvidace zajišťované obcí. Dodržujte aktuálně platné předpisy. Vpřípadě pochybností se informujte ve sběrném dvoře.

Odstranění závad

Seguridad

En este capítulo, obtendrá indicaciones de seguridad importantes para manejar el aparato. Este aparato cumple las normas de seguridad prescritas. El uso inadecuado puede causar daños personales y materiales.

¡Si cubre el aparato, puede producirse un sobrecalentamiento que, a su vez, provoque un incendio!

Indicaciones de seguridad básicas

Para manejar con seguridad el aparato, deben tenerse en cuenta las siguientes indicaciones de seguridad:

■ Antes de usar el aparato, compruebe si hay signos de daños

externos visibles. No utilice un aparato dañado o que se haya caído.

■ Si se estropea el cable de conexión a la red de este aparato,

tiene que ser sustituido por el fabricante, su servicio de atención al cliente o una persona que posea una cualiﬁcación similar para evitar peligros.

■ Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños mayores de 8 años

y por personas con facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o falta de experiencia y/o conocimientos siempre que estén bajo vigilancia o hayan sido instruidas correctamente sobre el uso seguro del aparato y hayan comprendido los peligros que entraña. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. Las tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento del aparato no deben ser realizadas por niños sin supervisión.

■ Los niños de entre 3 y 8 años no deben conectar la clavija en

la base de enchufe, regular el aparato, limpiar el aparato ni realizar las tareas de mantenimiento.

■ Cuidado: algunas piezas del producto pueden estar muy cali-

entes y causar quemaduras.

■ Las reparaciones en el aparato deben ser realizadas exclusi-

vamente por talleres autorizados o por el servicio al cliente. En caso de reparaciones indebidas, pueden producirse riesgos considerables para los usuarios. Además, se anulará la garantía.

■ Los componentes defectuosos deben sustituirse exclusivamente

por recambios originales. Solo puede garantizarse el cumplimiento de los requisitos de seguridad con el uso de estos recambios.

■ Proteja el aparato frente a la humedad y contra la penetración

de líquidos.

■ Extraiga siempre el cable de conexión a la red de la base

de enchufe asiéndolo por la clavija y no tirando del cable de conexión.

■ No utilice el aparato en la proximidad de llamas abiertas.

■ El aparato no se debe colocar directamente por encima o

debajo de una base de enchufe de pared.

■ En caso de que se produzcan anomalías o tormentas, extraiga

la clavija de conexión de la base de enchufe.

■ El aparato no debe usarse cerca de una bañera, ducha o

piscina.

■ El aparato debe colocarse de modo que el interruptor y los

demás reguladores no estén nunca accesibles para una persona que se encuentre en la bañera o la ducha.

■ No exponga el aparato a salpicaduras ni gotas de agua ni

coloque recipientes con líquidos, como jarrones o bebidas abiertas, sobre el aparato ni en sus inmediaciones.

Puesta en funcionamiento

Volumen de suministro e inspección de transporte

El aparato se suministra de serie con los siguientes componentes:

INDICACIÓN

► Compruebe la integridad del suministro y si hay daños visibles. ► Si el suministro es incompleto o hay daños debido a un embalaje deﬁciente o al trans-

porte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de asistencia (consulte el capítulo Asistencia técnica).

Desecho del embalaje

El embalaje protege al aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de desecho, por lo que es reciclable.

El reciclaje del embalaje permite ahorrar en materias primas y reduce el volumen de residuos. Deseche el material de embalaje innecesario de la forma dispuesta por las normativas locales aplicables.

Requisitos del lugar de emplazamiento

Para un funcionamiento correcto y seguro del aparato, el lugar de emplazamiento deberá cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:

Ŷ El aparato debe colocarse sobre una base ﬁrme, plana y horizontal. Ŷ Deben mantenerse unas distancias mínimas con respecto a la carcasa de 50 cm

lateralmente, 50 cm desde la parte superior, 50 cm desde la parte trasera y 100 cm desde la parte delantera.

Ŷ No coloque el aparato en un entorno caliente, mojado o muy húmedo ni cerca de material

inﬂamable.

Ŷ La base de enchufe deberá quedar fácilmente accesible de modo que pueda extraerse el

cable de conexión a la red con facilidad en caso de emergencia.

Ŷ Rango de temperatura ambiente: de 0 hasta +40°C Ŷ Humedad del aire (sin condensación): 5 - 75 %

Antes del primer uso

Conexión eléctrica

Para garantizar un funcionamiento seguro y sin anomalías del aparato, observe las siguientes indicaciones en relación con la conexión eléctrica:

Manejo y funcionamiento

En este capítulo se proporcionan indicaciones importantes sobre el manejo y funcionamiento del aparato.

Interruptor de funcionamiento

El interruptor de funcionamiento 4 tiene 4 posiciones y sirve para encender y apagar el ventilador y ajustar los niveles de calefacción.

= Aparato apagado = Solo el ventilador = Ventilador y nivel de calefacción 1 = Ventilador y nivel de calefacción 2

Regulador de temperatura

El regulador de temperatura 6 se ajusta de manera gradual. Si se gira en sentido horario, se ajusta una mayor temperatura y si se gira en sentido antihorario, la temperatura es menor.

Modo de funcionamiento de ventilador

♦ Asegúrese de que el interruptor de funcionamiento 4 se encuentre en la posición 0

(apagado).

♦ Gire el regulador de temperatura

Protección contra el sobrecalentamiento

El aparato está equipado con una protección contra el sobrecalentamiento. Si el interior del aparato se calienta en exceso, el elemento calefactor se desconecta automáticamente. Asimismo, en cuanto el aparato vuelve a enfriarse, el elemento calefactor se enciende de nuevo automáticamente.

ADVERTENCIA

¡El sobrecalentamiento suele tener una causa deﬁnida! ¡Peligro de incendio!

► Compruebe si el aparato puede desprender calor de forma suﬁciente: ¿Está cubier-

to o se encuentra demasiado próximo a una pared o a otro objeto? ¿Están libres las rejillas de la parte delantera o trasera? ¿Está bloqueado el ventilador?

► Solucione el problema, si es posible, o diríjase al servicio de asistencia técnica

(consulte la sección Asistencia técnica).

► Si vuelve a activarse la protección contra el sobrecalentamiento, pero no puede

determinar la causa, debe enviar el aparato al servicio de atención al cliente para su inspección y reparación.

Protección contra vuelcos

El aparato está equipado con un interruptor de seguridad 3. Si el calentador se cae, se apaga automáticamente y solo vuelve a encenderse cuando se coloca en la posición correcta y con el interruptor de seguridad 3 activado.

Limpieza

ADVERTENCIA

Observe las siguientes indicaciones de seguridad para evitar peligros y daños materiales:

► Limpie el aparato exclusivamente en estado desconectado y frío.

Segurança

Este capítulo contém indicações de segurança importantes para o manuseamento do aparelho. Este aparelho encontra-se em conformidade com as normas de segurança em vigor. Uma utilização incorreta pode provocar danos pessoais e materiais.

Não cobrir o aparelho!

Tapar o aparelho pode causar um sobreaquecimento do mesmo e, assim, ter como consequência um incêndio!

Indicações básicas de segurança

Para um manuseamento seguro do aparelho, respeite as seguintes indicações de segurança:

■ Antes da utilização, veriﬁque o aparelho quanto a danos exte-

riores visíveis. Não tente colocar em funcionamento um aparelho avariado ou que tenha sido sujeito a uma queda.

■ Se o cabo de alimentação deste aparelho ﬁcar/estiver daniﬁ-

cado, este deve ser substituído pelo fabricante, pelo seu serviço de apoio ao cliente ou outra pessoa igualmente qualiﬁcada, de modo a evitar perigos.

■ Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças a partir dos 8

anos e pessoas com capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas ou inexperientes e/ou sem conhecimentos, se o ﬁzerem com supervisão ou forem instruídas relativamente à utilização segura do aparelho e se tiverem compreendido os perigos daí resultantes. As crianças não podem brincar com o aparelho. A limpeza e a manutenção pelo utilizador não podem ser realizadas por crianças não supervisionadas.

■ Solicite a reparação do aparelho apenas a empresas autoriza-

das ou ao serviço de assistência ao cliente. Reparações indevidas podem provocar perigos consideráveis para o utilizador. Além disso, a garantia extingue-se.

■ Os componentes avariados devem ser substituídos apenas

por peças de reposição originais. Apenas a utilização destas peças garante o cumprimento dos requisitos de segurança.

■ Proteja o aparelho da humidade e da inﬁltração de líquidos.

■ Retire o cabo de alimentação da tomada sempre pela ﬁcha,

nunca puxando pelo cabo.

■ Não utilize o aparelho nas proximidades de chamas abertas.

■ O aparelho não pode ser posicionado diretamente por baixo

ou por cima de uma tomada de parede.

■ Em caso de ocorrências de avarias e de trovoada, retire a

ﬁcha de ligação da tomada.

■ O aparelho não pode ser utilizado na proximidade de

banheiras, duches ou piscinas.

■ O aparelho deve ser colocado de forma que o interruptor e

outros reguladores não entrem em contacto com a pessoa que se encontra na banheira ou no duche.

■ Não expor o aparelho a salpicos e/ou gotas de água e não

coloque objetos que contenham líquidos como jarras ou bebidas em cima, ou na proximidade, do aparelho.

Colocação em funcionamento

Material fornecido e inspeção de transporte

Por norma, o aparelho é fornecido com os seguintes componentes:

NOTA

► Veriﬁque o fornecimento quanto à sua integridade e danos visíveis. ► No caso de um fornecimento incompleto ou de danos resultantes de

uma embalagem defeituosa ou do transporte, contacte a linha direta de Assistência Técnica (ver capítulo Assistência Técnica).

Eliminação da embalagem

A embalagem protege o aparelho contra danos durante o transporte. Os materiais da embalagem são selecionados, tendo em conta os aspetos ambientais e técnicos relativamente à eliminação e são, por isso, recicláveis.

A reciclagem da embalagem permite a preservação de matérias-primas e reduz a formação de resíduos. Elimine os materiais da embalagem, que já não são necessários, de acordo com as prescrições locais em vigor.

Requisitos em relação ao local de instalação

Para um funcionamento seguro e sem falhas do aparelho, o local de instalação tem que cumprir as seguintes condições:

Ŷ O aparelho deve ser colocado sobre uma base ﬁrme, plana e nivelada. Ŷ Relativamente à estrutura devem manter-se as distâncias mínimas de 50 cm na lateral,

Operação e funcionamento

Neste capítulo obtém indicações importantes acerca da operação e do funcionamento do aparelho.

Interruptor de funcionamento

O interruptor de funcionamento 4 tem 4 posições e liga e desliga o ventilador e os níveis de aquecimento.

= Aparelho desligado = apenas ventilador = Ventilador e nível de aquecimento 1 = Ventilador e nível de aquecimento 2

Regulador de temperatura

O regulador de temperatura 6 é regulável progressivamente. Rodando no sentido dos ponteiros do relógio, é ajustada uma temperatura mais elevada, rodando no sentido contrário dos ponteiros do relógio é ajustada uma temperatura mais baixa.

Proteção contra sobreaquecimento

O aparelho está equipado com uma proteção contra sobreaquecimento. Se o aparelho ﬁcar internamente muito quente, o elemento de aquecimento desliga-se automaticamente. Logo que o aparelho tenha arrefecido, o elemento de aquecimento volta a ligar-se automaticamente.

AVISO

Geralmente o sobreaquecimento tem um motivo! Este pode signiﬁcar perigo de incêndio!

► Veriﬁque se o aparelho consegue emitir o seu calor de forma suﬁciente:

O aparelho está coberto ou encontra-se demasiado próximo de uma parede ou outro obstáculo? As grelhas na frente e no verso encontram-se desimpedidas? O ventilador é bloqueado?

► Se possível, elimine o problema ou entre em contacto com a linha de apoio ao

cliente (ver capítulo Assistência técnica).

► Mesmo que não encontre qualquer causa, mas a proteção contra sobreaquecimen-

to volta a ser acionada, deverá enviar o aparelho ao serviço de apoio ao cliente para controlo ou reparação.

Proteção contra viragem

O aparelho está equipado com um interruptor de segurança 3. Assim que o termoventilador cair, este desliga-se automaticamente. O termoventilador apenas se volta a ligar, quando este se encontrar novamente na vertical e o interruptor de segurança 3 estiver, por esse motivo, acionado.

Limpeza

AVISO

Respeite as seguintes indicações de segurança, a ﬁm de evitar perigos e danos materiais:

► Limpe o aparelho apenas quando este se encontrar desligado e frio.

ATENÇÃO

Possibilidade de danos no aparelho.

Humidade inﬁltrada pode causar danos no aparelho.

► Certiﬁque-se de que, durante a limpeza, não se inﬁltra humidade no aparelho para

evitar danos irreparáveis no mesmo.

Ŷ Limpe a estrutura apenas com um pano ligeiramente humedecido e um detergente suave. Ŷ Remova o pó depositado na grelha de proteção com um aspirador.

Armazenamento

Ŷ Retire a ﬁcha de rede caso não utilize o aparelho durante um período prolongado. Ŷ Guarde o aparelho num ambiente seco.

Eliminação

Nunca deposite o aparelho no lixo doméstico comum. Este produto é abrangido pela Diretiva Europeia 2012/96/EU REEE (Resíduos de Equipamentos Elétricos e Eletrónicos).

Elimine o aparelho através de uma instituição de recolha de resíduos autorizada ou através da instituição de recolha do seu município. Respeite os regulamentos atualmente em vigor. Em caso de dúvida, entre em contacto com a sua instituição de recolha.

Resolução de avarias

Neste capítulo obtém indicações importantes acerca da deteção de avarias e da respetiva resolução.
