Please read the safety instructions
Do not permit children to handle electrical devices without • supervision, they cannot correctly assess the potential risks of injury. Check the device over for visible damage. Should the device
• become damaged, immediately remove the plug from the mains socket if it is connected. Then arrange for the device to be checked by Customer Services.
Risk of electric shock
Connect the mains power adapter only to correctly installed • and earthed mains power sockets. Check that the electricity type and mains voltage matches the information given on the power adapter type plate. Use only a mains power adaptor providing an output voltage
• of 7.5 V and supplying a minimum of 300mA. Before connecting a mains power adaptor, check to ensure • that the polarisation of the barrel connector matches the polarity details on the socket; DC 7,5V 300mA (on the rear of the device, Do not operate the device if the mains power adapter being • used, its power cable or the device itself is damaged. Arrange for the device to be checked and/or repaired by qualied technicians. NEVER open the device. There are no user-serviceable elements
• inside. Should you do so, device safety can no longer be assured and the warranty will become void. NEVER submerse the device in water. Wipe it only with
• a slightly damp cloth.
).
- 3 -
Protect the device from moisture. Use it only in dry rooms, do • not use it outdoors or close to liquids. Ensure that neither the device nor the mains adapter could
• become wet or damp or sustain any other damage during use. Notice regarding power disconnection:
• To completely separate the device from mains power, the mains adapter must be unplugged from the wall socket. For this reason, the device should be used at a location where unobstructed access to the power socket is assured at all times, so that you are able to immediately withdraw the mains power plug in the event of an emergency. To eliminate the risk of re, prevent unintended activation and save energy costs, the mains power adapter should always be unplugged from the mains power socket when the device is not in use. When disconnecting the mains adaptor, always grasp
• the adaptor housing. NEVER pull on the cable itself, and NEVER grasp the power cable with wet hands - this could cause a short circuit or give you an electric shock. Do not place furniture or other objects on the power cable of the mains adaptor and ensure that the cable does not become trapped/clamped. Never tie knots in the power cable, and do not join it to other cables. Lay the mains power adapter cable so that no one can step on or stumble over it. A damaged mains adapter can cause a re or electric shock. If you make use of a mains power adapter, check it over from time to time. Should it become damaged in any way, take steps to acquire a replacement from a specialist shop. Should a storm and/or thunderstorm with the risk of lightning
• threaten, please disconnect the device from the mains power.
