Este producto no está indicado para la iluminación, ni
para el uso comercial o industrial.

Indicaciones de seguridad
importantes

Para evitar peligro de muerte por descarga
eléctrica:

• Proteja el tubo luminoso flexible de los daños:
No empuje ningún tipo de objeto a través del
tubo luminoso flexible. No utilice ningún tipo de
objeto puntiagudo o afilado para la sujeción.
No fije el tubo luminoso flexible en puntos móviles,
como p. ej. puertas o ventanas. No cuelgue
otros objetos al tubo luminoso flexible. No doble el
tubo luminoso flexible.

• Si el tubo luminoso flexible está dañado, retire
inmediatamente la clavija de red. Deje que el
servicio de atención al cliente revise el producto.

• Tenga cuidado de que la clavija de red no entre
nunca en contacto con el agua u otros líquidos.
Si utiliza el tubo luminoso flexible en el exterior,
emplee una base de enchufe resistente a la
intemperie o un cable alargador impermeable.
Consulte con un especialista si tiene preguntas
al respecto.

• Asegúrese de que la clavija esté siempre accesible
para poder extraerla de la base de enchufe
rápidamente en caso de peligro.

• Asegúrese de que no se pille el cable de red
durante el funcionamiento ni que se pueda dañar
de otro modo. Colóquelo de modo que nadie
pueda tropezar con él. No someta el cable de
red a carga ni a presión.

• Si el cable de red o la clavija han sufrido desperfec­tos, deje que el servicio de atención al cliente

• Desconecte siempre el aparato de la corriente
eléctrica después de utilizarlo o si abandona el
lugar de trabajo. Mientras la clavija de red se

tendrá tensión de red.

Para evitar riesgo de incendio:

• No conecte el producto a una base de enchufe
hasta que no lo haya sacado del embalaje. De
otro modo se acumulará el calor.

Descripción de aparatos

• Si instala el producto en el exterior, fíjelo de
manera que en caso de desprenderse no caiga
en la vía pública, p. ej. accesos, aceras, calles.
Si es necesario, átelo adicionalmente.

• Introduzca la clavija de red en la base de en­chufe. El tubo luminoso flexible se encenderá.

Limpieza

¡Precaución!

Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe
antes de coger o limpiar el tubo luminoso flexible.
¡Existe peligro de descarga eléctrica!

• Limpie el producto sólo con un paño seco o
ligeramente humedecido. No utilice lejía ni
productos de limpieza, ya que podrían dañar
las piezas de plástico.

• Deje que el Papá Noel decorativo se seque
completamente antes de guardar el producto.
Así evitará la aparición de moho debido a la
humedad que haya podido penetrar en el
producto.

Utilización

• Compruebe que el producto no presente daños
y que se hayan retirado del mismo todas las
piezas y restos del embalaje.

• Cuelgue el producto de un elemento de sujeción
redondo o blando, de manera que el tubo lumi­noso flexible no se dañe. Tenga en cuenta no
sólo el propio peso del aparato, sino también
el posible peso adicional del cable prolongador.
También es posible que las piezas de plástico se
llenen de agua debido a la lluvia o la humedad y
aumente con ello el peso.

Mantenimiento

El producto no necesita mantenimiento, no es nece­sario que el usuario realice ningún tipo de trabajo.

• No abra nunca las piezas del producto; no hay
ningún elemento de manejo en el interior.

• El tubo luminoso flexible no puede ser reparado.
En caso de averías deseche el producto.

• Compruebe antes de cada uso que si el producto
presenta daños.

Evacuación

Asistencia técnica

En ningún caso deberá tirar el aparato
a la basura doméstica. Este producto
está sometido a la directiva europea
2002/96/EC.

Elimine el aparato a través de una empresa de
evacuación de basuras autorizada o por medio del
centro de evacuación de basuras municipal.
Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales en vigor.
En caso de duda póngase en contacto con el
centro de evacuación de basuras.

 Importanti avvertenze di

sicurezza

Per evitare il pericolo di morte per scossa
elettrica:

• Proteggere il tubo luminoso dai danneggiamenti:
non inserire alcun oggetto nel tubo luminoso.
Non utilizzare oggetti acuminati o taglienti per
il fissaggio. Non fissare il tubo luminoso in punti
mobili come ad es. porte o finestre. Non
appendere altri oggetti al tubo luminoso. Non
piegare il tubo luminoso.

• Se il tubo luminoso è danneggiato, staccare
subito la spina dalla presa. Fare controllare il
prodotto dal centro di assistenza ai clienti.

• Impedire che la spina di rete venga a contatto
con acqua o altri liquidi. Se si installa il tubo
luminoso all'aperto, scegliere una presa di
corrente adeguatamente isolata o un cavo di
prolunga impermeabile. In caso di dubbi,
interpellare un elettricista.

• Fare in modo che la spina sia sempre raggiungi­bile per poterla staccare rapidamente dalla
presa di rete in caso di pericolo.

• Accertarsi che il cavo di rete non venga schiac­ciato o danneggiato in altro modo durante l'uso.
Collocarlo in modo tale che non costituisca
intralcio. Non sottoporre il cavo di rete a
tensioni, evitare quindi di tenderlo.

• In caso di danneggiamento del cavo di rete o
della spina, rivolgersi al servizio clienti per la
sostituzione, prima di utilizzare nuovamente il
prodotto.

• Assicurarsi che la spina di rete sia staccata dalla
presa prima di installare o disinstallare il tubo
luminoso.

• Non collocare il cavo di rete o il cavo di pro­lunga nella neve. L'umidità, la brina e i cristalli
di ghiaccio acuminati possono compromettere la
sicurezza del cavo.

• Staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di rete
dopo l'uso o in caso di assenza. La tensione di
rete è presente nel prodotto fino a quando la
spina è collegata alla presa di rete.

Per evitare il rischio di incendio:

• non collegare il prodotto ancora imballato
alla presa di rete. Ciò ne provocherebbe il
surriscaldamento.

• Non collocare il prodotto sotto oggetti infiamma­bili, soprattutto non al di sotto di stelle di paglia,

Uso

• Controllare che il prodotto sia integro e siano
state rimosse tutte le parti e i resti di imballaggio.

• Appendere il prodotto a un elemento di fissag­gio rotondo o morbido, in modo da impedire
danni al tubo luminoso. In tal caso tenere conto,
oltre che del peso del prodotto, anche di
eventuali pesi aggiuntivi dovuti al cavo di
prolunga. Potrebbe capitare anche che la
pioggia o l'umidità imbevano le parti di stoffa,
aumentando ulteriormente il peso.

Pulizia



Attenzione!

Staccare sempre la spina dalla presa prima di
rimuovere o pulire il tubo luminoso.

• Pulire il prodotto solo con un panno asciutto o
leggermente inumidito. Non utilizzare agenti
abrasivi o detergenti, i quali potrebbero
danneggiare le parti in plastica.

• Fare asciugare la decorazione natalizia
completamente, prima di riporre il prodotto. In
tal modo si evita la formazione di muffa dovuta
a eventuale penetrazione di umidità.

Manutenzione

Il prodotto non necessita di manutenzione e non
è necessario alcun lavoro da parte dell'utente.

• Non aprire mai alcuna parte del prodotto ­in esse non si trovano elementi di comando.

• Il tubo luminoso non è riparabile. In caso di
danni, il prodotto dev'essere eliminato.

• Controllare il prodotto prima di ogni utilizzo
per rilevare eventuali danni visibili.

Smaltimento

Assistenza

Non gettare per alcun motivo
l’apparecchio insieme ai normali rifiuti
domestici. Questo prodotto sottostà
alla direttiva europea 2002/96/EC.

Smaltire l’apparecchio presso un’azienda auto­rizzata o presso l’ente comunale di smaltimento.

Intended Use

This product is intended for decorational purposes in
indoor and outdoor areas in domestic households.
This product is not intended for illumination purposes
or for commercial or industrial applications.

 Important safety instructions

• Should the power cable or the power plug
become damaged, arrange for these to be
replaced by Customer Service before continuing
to use the appliance.

• Ensure that the plug is removed from the wall
socket before attaching or removing the rope
light.

• Do not position the power cable or the extension
cable in snow. Melt-water as well as freezing-up
and sharp ice crystals can impair the safety of
the power cable.

• After use or during extended absences, ALWAYS
remove the plug from the power socket. For as
long as the plug is inserted in the wall socket the
appliance itself is under electrical power.

To avoid life-threatening electric shocks:

• Protect the rope light from damages: NEVER
force any objects of any type through the rope
light. Do not use pointed or sharp objects for
affixing. Do not bind the rope light to movable
objects, for example doors and windows. Do not
suspend any additional items from the rope light.
Do not bend the rope light.

• Should the rope light become damaged, imme­diately remove the plug from the wall socket.
Then arrange for the appliance to be checked
by Customer Services.

• Ensure that the power plug NEVER comes into
contact with water or other liquids. Should you
place the rope light outdoors, select a suitably
weather-protected wall socket or use a water­proof extension cable. If you are in any way
unsure about it, consult a specialist.

• Ensure that the plug is at all times easily accessi­ble so that it may be swiftly removed in the event
of danger.

• When in use, ensure that the power cable can­not become jammed/trapped or damaged in
any way. Place it such that no one can trip or
stumble over it. Do not burden the power cable
with pulling forces, do not tension it.

To avoid the risks of fire:

• Should it still be in its packaging, do not connect
the appliance to a wall socket. This would lead
to a build-up of heat.

• DO NOT place the appliance under inflamma­ble objects, especially not under straw stars, pa­per, curtains or drapes.

To avoid the risk of accidents and personal
injuries:

• Position the power cable in such a way that the
appliance cannot be pulled down by it.

• This appliance is not intended for use by

Appliance description

• When positioning the rope light outdoors ensure
that it cannot fall into areas subject to traffic, e.g.
access drives, footpaths or roads. If necessary,
provide additional binding.

• Insert the power plug into a wall socket. The light
rope now emits light.

Cleaning



Caution!

Always remove the plug from the wall socket before
dismantling or cleaning the light rope.

• Clean the appliance only with a dry or lightly
moistened cloth. Do not use abrasives or deter­gents, these could damage the plastic surfaces.

• First allow the Father Christmas decoration to
dry completely before placing it into storage.
Doing this will avoid the creation of mould cau­sed by moisture that has perhaps penetrated it.

Utilisation

• Check to ensure that the rope light is
undamaged and all parts and remnants of the
packaging are removed from it.

• Suspend the rope light from a round or soft
fastening element so that the rope light cannot
be damaged. Take into consideration thereby
not only the own weight of the appliance but
also the possible additional weight of an
extension cable. It can also happen that the
fabric parts of the appliance become saturated
through rain or moisture and thus increase the
weight additionally.

Maintenance

The rope light is maintenance-free, no effort is
required on the part of the user.

• Do not open the housings of the appliance –
there are no user-serviceable elements contained
inside.

• The rope light cannot be repaired. If it becomes
damaged, dispose of it.

• Before taking it into use, check the rope light for
visible exterior damage.

Gebrauch

Dieses Produkt ist vorgesehen für Dekorations­zwecke im Innen- und Außenbereich für den
privaten Hausgebrauch. Dieses Produkt ist nicht
vorgesehen für Beleuchtungszwecke und nicht für
den gewerblichen oder industriellen Einsatz.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise

Um Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag
zu vermeiden:

• Schützen Sie den Lichtschlauch vor Beschädigun­gen: Treiben Sie niemals irgendwelche Gegen­stände durch den Lichtschlauch. Verwenden Sie
keine spitzen oder scharfen Gegenstände zur
Befestigung. Befestigen Sie den Lichtschlauch
nicht an beweglichen Stellen, wie z.B. Türen
oder Fenster. Hängen Sie keine weiteren Gegen­stände an den Lichtschlauch. Biegen Sie den
Lichtschlauch nicht.

• Wenn der Lichtschlauch beschädigt ist, ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker. Lassen Sie das Pro­dukt dann erst vom Kundendienst überprüfen.

• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Netzstecker niemals
mit Wasser oder anderen Flüssigkeiten in Berüh­rung kommt. Wenn Sie den Lichtschlauch im
Freien einsetzen, wählen Sie eine entsprechend
wettergeschützte Steckdose oder wasserdichte
Verlängerungsleitung. Fragen Sie einen Fach­mann, wenn Sie sich hierüber nicht sicher sind.

• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass der Stecker jederzeit
erreichbar ist, um ihn bei Gefahr schnell aus
der Steckdose ziehen zu können.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netz­kabel nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig
beschädigt werden kann. Verlegen Sie es so,
dass niemand darüber stolpern kann. Belasten
Sie das Netzkabel nicht auf Zug, also nicht
spannen.

• Sollte das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese erst durch den
Kundendienst ersetzen, bevor Sie das Produkt
weiter verwenden.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose gezogen ist, bevor Sie den
Lichtschlauch anbringen oder abnehmen.

• Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel oder Verlänge­rungskabel nicht im Schnee. Tauwasser sowie
Festfrieren und scharfe Eiskristalle können die
Sicherheit der Kabel beeinträchtigen.

• Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch oder bei Abwesen­heit immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Es
liegt Netzspannung im Produkt an, solange der
Netzstecker in der Steckdose steckt.

Um Brandgefahr zu vermeiden:

• Schließen Sie das Produkt nicht an die Steckdo­se an, solange es sich noch in der Verpackung
befindet. Andernfalls entsteht ein Hitzestau.

• Stellen Sie das Produkt nicht unter brennbaren
Gegenständen auf, insbesondere nicht unter
Strohsternen, Papier, Gardinen oder Vorhänge.

Verwenden

• Überprüfen Sie, dass das Produkt unbeschädigt
ist und alle Teile und Reste von der Verpackung
vom Produkt entfernt sind.

• Hängen Sie das Produkt an einem runden oder
weichen Befestigungselement auf, so dass der
Lichtschlauch nicht beschädigt wird. Berücksichti­gen Sie dabei nicht nur das Eigengewicht des
Produkts, sondern auch eventuell zusätzliches
Gewicht des Verlängerungskabels. Auch kann es
sein, dass sich durch Regen oder Feuchtigkeit die
Stoffteile voller Wasser saugen und das Gewicht
somit zunehmen kann.

• Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit einem trocke­nen oder leicht befeuchteten Tuch. Verwenden
