Intended Use

These Design Neon Luminescent Tubes
are intended exclusively for

• use in closed rooms

• private use

Any other usage of, or modification to,
the appliance is deemed to be improper
usage and carries the risk of serious per­sonal injury.

Safety instructions

• Only use the appliance when the local
electrical power supply tallies comple­tely with the details given on the rating
plate.

• Do not modify or redesign the appli­ance, If tampered with, the compliance
to the safety class is not guaranteed.

• Never touch the power plug with wet
hands while inserting it into or pulling it
out of the socket. There is a danger of
electrocution!

• While assembling make sure that the
power cord does not get not clamped
or damaged in any other way.

• Only insert the appliance into a power
socket when it is switched off.

• Remove the plug from the power
socket if the Design Neon Tube will
not in be use for extended periods.

• Ensure that no objects can enter the
tube through openings in the housing.
There is a danger of electrocution!

• This appliance is not intended for use
by individuals (including children)
with restricted physical, physiological
or intellectual abilities or deficiences
in experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person res­ponsible for their safety or receive
from this person instruction in how
the appliance is to be used.

• Children should be supervised to en­sure that they do not play with the
appliance..

• Never place the Design Neon Tube
close to inflammable materials such as
curtains, electric cable etc, this would
create a fire hazard!

• To reduce the dangers of fire and life­threatening risks of electrocution, en­sure that the design neon tube never
becomes wet!

• Never operate the Design Neon Tube
whilst it is in its packaging – risk of fire.

• The illuminating element in this Design
Neon Tube cannot be exchanged.

• The outer cable of this design neon
tube cannot be replaced. Should the
power cable be damaged, the Design
Neon Tube must be disposed of.

Operation

• Before installation, ensure that the
Design Neon Tubes and the cable are
in a visibly faultfree condition.

• Assemble the Design Neon Tubes on
a stable footing using only the acces­sories supplied.

• Insert the euro plug into the socket ­the Design Neon Tube is now ready
for use.

• You can use the cable switch to turn
the Design Neon Tubes on and off.

• Do NOT operate the Design Neon
Tubes if they are visibly damaged.
Before operating the lamps again,
have them repaired by a trained
technician.

Cleaning and Care

• ALWAYS remove the plug from the
socket when cleaning the Design
Neon Tube.

• Wipe the design neon tube with a
soft, dry piece of cloth. Do not use
aggressive cleaning agents.

• Protect the design neon tube from ex­treme soiling, extreme temperatures
and humidity.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance
in your normal domestic waste.

Dispose of the appliance through an
approved disposal centre or at your

community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regula­tions. In case of doubt, please contact
your waste disposal centre.

Dispose of the packaging materials
in an environmentally responsible
manner.


