Table lamp

1. Intended Use

This table lamp is meant to be used in
dry areas and indoors.
It is not intended for outdoor use and
not for use in commercial or industrial
areas.

3. Safety Instructions

To avoid life-threatening electric shocks:

• Only connect the table lamp to a

power socket with a line voltage of
220-240 V ~, 50 Hz.

• Do not bend or squeeze the power

cord.

• To disconnect, always pull out the

plug at the power socket, do not
pull at the power cord.

• Never use the table lamp in proximity

of water or in damp cellar areas.
Protect the table lamp from moisture
and dirt.

• Before cleaning, or if there is a power

supply fault, pull the plug out of the
power socket.

• If the power cord is damaged, have it

repaired by a qualified expert before
using the table lamp again.

To prevent fire hazards and the risk of
injury:

• Never touch the table lamp or the
lamp shade while it is switched on.
Make sure that the table lamp is
switched off and has cooled down,
before you touch it.

• While setting up the table lamp,
make sure that it is at a minimum
distance of 0.5 meters from illumi­nated objects.

• Never cover the lamp shade, and
allow air to circulate freely around
and inside the table lamp.

• Always place the table lamp on an
even surface. Otherwise, it might
tip over and cause fire.

• Never leave the table lamp unsuper­vised when in operation.

5. Starting Up the Device

Inserting the light bulb

 Warning!:

• Always use a bulb of max. 60 W and
E27 thread.

• Before inserting or replacing the
lightbulb:

- Switch off the table lamp,

- pull out the plug from the power

socket and

- let the table lamp cool down

completely.

➭ Screw the fastening ring  off the

lamp socket .

➭ Place the lamp shade  with the

small opening facing down onto the
lamp socket .

➭ Screw the fastening ring  back

onto the lamp socket  until the
lamp shade  is firmly in place.

➭ Carefully screw the light bulb into

the lamp socket. Make sure it is
correctly screwed in.

The light bulb is not included in the
package contents.

Setting up and switching on

➭ Place the table lamp on an even

surface.Keep illuminated objects
at a minimum distance of 0.5 m.

➭ Push the power plug into the power

socket.

➭ Switch the table lamp on and off

by means of the cord switch.

6. Cleaning and care

 Danger!

• Before cleaning the table lamp:

- Switch off the table lamp,

- pull out the plug from the power
socket and

- let the table lamp cool down
completely.

• Never immerse the appliance in water
or other liquids while cleaning.

➭ Clean the desk lamp with a dry,

fluff-free cloth.

• Never use solvents for cleaning, to
avoid damage to the tabel lamp.

7. Disposal

Never dispose off the table lamp with
normal household waste. Contact your
local town council or regional authority
for information about how to dispose
of the appliance in an appropriate,
environmentally-friendly manner.

 Warning!

Before disposing of the appliance,
you can prevent accidents to children
by detaching the power plug, thus
rendering it unusable.
