This motion detector with alarm function is intended exclusively for the surveillance
of rooms and areas for private use, and is intended to deter burglars by emitting
an extremely loud alarm sound. This product is not intended for commercial or
industrial use. The warranty does not provide compensation for damage caused
by improper use of the device!

Loud alarm sound! Do not subject your hearing to this sound over a long
period, otherwise you could suff er serious damage to your hearing!
■ Before use, check the device for visible external damage. Do not use a device
that has been damaged or dropped.
■ This device may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how
to use the device safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must

not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be
carried out by children unless they are supervised.
■ Do not make any unauthorised modifi cations or alterations to the device.
■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be carried out by
a customer service department authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise
no additional warranty claims can be considered for subsequent damage.
■ Do not place the device in locations that are subject to direct sunlight as this
could lead to overheating and cause irreparable damage.
■ Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration. Do not place any
liquid-fi lled vessels (such as fl ower vases) on the device.
► Do not short-circuit the batteries.
► Do not attempt to recharge the batteries.
► Check the condition of the batteries regularly. Leaking battery acid can
cause permanent damage to the device.
► Special care should be taken when handling a damaged or leaking
battery. Risk of acid burns! Wear protective gloves.
► Store batteries in a place inaccessible to children. If a battery should be
swallowed, seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY.
► If you do not intend to use the device for a long time, remove the batteries.

You can fi x the motion detector to a wall using the wall bracket . Otherwise,
the motion detector can also be placed on a solid, level surface. The optimum
installation location is 2 m above the ground at a 15° angle. In order to guarantee
optimum motion detection, the motion detector must be located so that the object
to be detected is not moving towards the detector itself but moves across its fi eld
of view from left to right or vice versa.
CAUTION
When selecting a position for the motion detector, ensure that it is not

subjected to direct sunlight, vibrations, moisture, dust, heat or cold.
Otherwise, incorrect triggering or functional impairments can result.
♦Using the wall bracket as a template, mark the positions for the drill
holes on the wall.
♦Drill two holes (ø 6 mm) and insert the wall plugs supplied.

When drilling, ensure that you do not inadvertently damage power, gas
or water lines. There is a risk of fatal injury!
♦Screw the wall bracket to the wall using the supplied screws.
Fix the motion detector to the wall bracket (Fig. 1).

Handling and use
Standby mode
Once the batteries have been inserted or a power supply has been connected,
the motion detector will be in standby mode. You can use the mode selection
button

Surveillance mode

If the appliance is in standby mode, press the mode selection button to switch
to surveillance mode. The siren makes a brief signal sound and the green
status LED illuminates for approx. 15 seconds. The alarm is activated as soon
as the green status LED goes out.
Triggering mode
If an unauthorised person or a warm object enters the surveillance area when
the appliance is in surveillance mode, the red status LED begins to fl ash for
around 15 seconds, and the alarm is then sounded for around 10 minutes.
During this, the red status LED
is permanently illuminated. After this period,
the motion detector returns to surveillance mode.
Press the mode selection button
to reset a false alarm or to switch an alarm
off manually. The appliance will then return to standby mode.
Cleaning/storage
CAUTION
To avoid irreparable damage, ensure that no moisture gets into the device.

♦Clean the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.
♦If you decide not to use the appliance for a long period, remove the batter-
ies and store it in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Do not dispose of the device in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community
waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact
your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt.
Disposing of the batteries
Batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. Every consumer
is legally obliged to dispose of used batteries at a collection point in his
town/district or at a retail store. This obligation is intended to ensure that batteries
are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Dispose of batteries
The warranty provided for this device is 3 years from the date of purchase.
This device has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior
to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects, not

for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components
such as switches and batteries.
This device is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty is deemed void if this product has been subjected to improper or
inappropriate handling, abuse or modifi cations that were not carried out by one
of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty
period is not prolonged by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies
to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are chargeable.
