Installation Instructions

Gun Boot® IV Mount for Bed Rails (20129)

(Fits Kawasaki Mule, John Deere Gator, and others)

Your new Gun Boot® IV Case Mounting Bracket is perfect for attaching to the bed
rails of utility ATV’s. When you open your bracket, please make sure the following
items are enclosed in your box before beginning.

Installation:

Note: The mounting brackets can be mounted to either side of the bed rail.

1.Position Rear Mounting Bracket on bottom of Gun Boot IV so that the Locking Pin
goes through the center hole of bottom of Gun Boot IV. Place Front Mounting Bracket
on muzzle end of Gun Boot IV. Align Gun Boot IV and both brackets on side rail and
mark the bolt hole positions. (Distance between the brackets should be about 11.25in.)

2.Drill 4 bolt holes in side rail (2 for Front Bracket and 2 for Rear bracket).

3.Mount the Front Bracket to the side rail using the 5/16” nuts, bolts, and washers.

4.Mount the Rear Bracket to the side rail using the 5/16” nuts, bolts, and washers.

5.Slide muzzle end of Gun Boot IV into front Bracket so that you may pin the Gun Boot
IV into the Rear Bracket. Your Gun Boot should look like the following when properly
mounted:
