NOTES:
1. Flush the water supply pipes thoroughly to remove any debris.
2. An in line water filter must be used with this product.
3. Inspect the supply pipes for damage. Replace as necessary.
4. Observe local plumbing codes.
5. The recommended working pressure for the shower head is 100KPa to 500KPa. If the pressure
exceeds 500KPa a pressure reducer is required.
6. Maximum water and environmental temperature for the shower head is 60C. Note: If a heater is present,
make sure to keep it away from the shower head as otherwise the environmental temperature may
exceed 60C.
7. All installations should comply with the relevant requirements of AS/NZS 3500 and AS/NZS 6400.

INSTALLATION - Outlet adaptor
1.) This shower arm is designed to be fitted to a G1/2” male supply
fitting located in a hole no bigger than 32mm and below the
finished wall.
2.) Apply tape or thread sealant to G1/2” threads of the male supply fitting (1).
3.) Install the outlet adaptor(2) onto the supply fitting. Secure it with a wrench
and make it extend 31-40mm beyond the finished wall (Refer to rough-in
drawing).

STANCE
1. Apply a ring of plumbers putty or other sealant to the shower arm base(3).
2.) Install the shower arm onto the outlet adaptor(2). Make sure the setscrew
hole faces downwards. Carefully tighten the setscrew using the hex
wrench(4) provided.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the setscrew
3.) Remove any excess putty.
INSTALLATION - Shower Head
1.) Flush the water supplie lines through the shower arm(3) for about one
minute to remove debris.
2.) Install the screen washer(5) into the shower arm(3).
3.) Apply the appropriate amount of tape or sealant to the shower head(6)
threads.
4.) Tighten the showerhead(6) using a strap wrench.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
All Finishes: Clean the finish with mild soap and warm water. Wipe entire surface completely dry with a
clean soft cloth. Many cleaners may contain such chemicals as ammonia, chlorine, toilet chemicals etc. which
could adversely affect the finish and are not recommended for cleaning.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on Kohler fittings.
